I applied for a new broadband connection. An executive came to collect documents. After filling application form and submitting proofs along with a cheque for Rs. 1000, cheque number 369046 dated 10 Aug 2015 of State Bank of Mysore. I got a message from airtel 'documents received'. But the installation engineer called on 13th Aug 2015 and after visiting the site/my location, he said my connection is not feasible, since they don't have network in that are.
Today I got a message from bank that the cheque amount is debited from my bank a/c. 21-Aug-2015
And after that I did not receive any update from airtel, nor been able to get any updates from customer care on this. Please share what is the process of refund?
And why wasn't the feasibility checked before collecting documents and money?
