I had requested for new airtel broadband and DTH connections around 3 weeks back.
Details are as below

When I requested for these, I was told it will be installed within 3 days. Airtel executive also made an effort to come home and collect the cash.
After a week I got a call from airtel office saying they cannot install DTH connections since they are scared of some local cable operator. The amount paid has not yet been refunded.
I've also been calling airtel office regarding the broadband connection and have been getting the same reply that there is a problem with the DP box and will be resolved soon.
Today when I called the office I was told that I won't be getting a broadband connection due to technical issues in the DP box.
Whenever I called the customer care, I was told that I would get a call back from the team regarding the issue. These happened 7-8 times, but I never received a call.
Airtel executives only try to acquire new customers to complete their targets. They only collect the amount and the documents and do not inform you of any problems.
