On the 8th of February, we contacted BookMyBai.com with an urgent need for a cook, and they promised to send an experienced and reliable cook, as well as a field executive, the next day (9th February). They demanded Rs. 5900/- as their service charge the next day, even before the cook arrived on the job. We paid the invoice with the invoice number NJC/21-22/12149, believing in their assurance. However, they have failed to assign a reliable cook and we demand a refund immediately. Despite our struggles, we were patient throughout their unnecessary drama that went on for the next 5 days and its is as follows.
Day 1: They assigned us an inexperienced cook and she did not match our food preferences, which were mentioned to the BookMyBai organisation earlier.
Day 2: She did not show up for work and there was no communication from BookMyBai or the cook. We contacted the cook ourselves and got to know that she is unable to manage work and home.We had to inform BookMyBai afterwards, and they promised to replace it the same day.
Day 3&4: They promise to send the cook the very same day on both 3&4th day. and they couldn't find anyone. On day 4, they informed us that a cook will come to work the next morning.
Day 5th: However, again no one turns up. After several attempts to reach them, they finally picked the call to begin a blame game between the account manager and the field executive regarding who was to blame. In the afternoon, they compelled a cook to come see us and when she arrived, she said that the timings clashed with her other job, therefore she didn't want to work. She also informed us that despite her concerns, the BookMyBai company had been obliged to see us.
Meanwhile, our maid found someone trustworthy, and we hired her right away. Due to several circumstances, it was a very difficult period for us, and on top of that, we had to deal with this bogus firm. Despite our repeated mentions of our urgency, the company did not take it seriously. They are now refusing to issue a refund. Instead, they say they'll give us a credit note to use in the future. This makes no sense because this is a fraud company with terrible management and service. We have no desire to work with them again and request a refund immediately. I'd like to file a complaint against them. I hope this help us resolve this issue.
