Hi,
I have a flat in Princess Park, Registration done in year 2013, Got the same unjustified demand for VAT . As per the Haryana govt & Supreme Court this amount is to be paid by the contractor/builder not the buyers.
More so there is still no clarity on the issue as some say it is on under construction property only then why flats where registration deed already done are charged?
Another very interesting issue to arise here is that most developers enter into an agreement with prospective buyers according to which additional taxes are to be borne by the customers (as a part of space buyer’s agreement).
But the governing section 9 of composition scheme mandates the contractor/developer not to issue any tax invoices. Hence no tax can be collected on the strength of tax invoice
Ignore the demand, Stop worrying, Stay united and Raise question to BPTP why & how they imposing this VAT on us (Buyers).

BPTP Crest, Plot #15, Udyog Vihar Phase-IV, Gurgaon, Haryana, India - 122015
Even I got the VAT letter today. I purchased the floor (Sector-85, A Block) in resale and already done with the registry in January 2015. Everything paid by me in 2015 itself and completed all the formalities. Now they are asking me more in terms of VAT, which is ridiculous.
VAT has to pay by developer and not buyer. Please find few links for the same:
