On the very first day, when they call me for the first time they were asking for the money i.e. an amount of Rs.470, in the name of dress they provide from the company side, which they said is the refundable amount and after submitting this money, I can get my offer letter which i recieved the next day of submission of that amount. When I go through the offer letter there is the amount of Rs.1500 which is mentioned in the same name for which I already paid them Rs.470. When I submitted that Rs.1500, then on the next day they said that I have to submit Rs.2600, which is the amount for the bond from the company side. And without paying that amount I couldn't get any mail, which i required in order to know my job location. After that I'm sure that they are fake, completely fake. After which i decided to quit. As they also said that all the which i paid are refundable, so i ask them to give my money back, as i couldn't continue. Then after, they ask me to give an amount of Rs.1000 as cancellation charge, which they don't mention anywhere whether in the offer letter or when i ask about the terms of quit. And also said that these 1000 rupees are also refundable. Now, i am sure that i loss my Rs.2000 and i couldn't give more money to recover that. So please guys be aware of these fraud calls. They don't have any emotions, they only take the advantage of the need of us for the job.

Britannia Industries Customer Care's response
Dear Samradhi,

This is a fake offer.

Thanks for informing us of this matter. Of late, it has come to our notice that some unscrupulous agencies are alluring job aspirants with employment opportunities with Britannia Industries Private Limited/its associate/group companies and extracting money as a security deposit, documentation processing fees, or training fees.

We would like to inform everyone that Britannia does not require applicants to pay any amount of money in any form or for any purpose, at any stage of its recruitment and selection process.
