we were allotted a 3 bhk residential flat in CGEWHO AVADI phase 1 in 2005.we trusted them becos, the brochure said the construction will supervised by indian army officials.we were promised that handing over the flat wud be in 2.5 yrs.we borrowed money from banks and paid installment at right time. i hoped that when the flat was done in 2.5 yrs , we may get rent so that repaying the loan from the bank wud be easier for us.but, the construction...

I applied to CGEWHO (Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organization) Mohali Ph-1 flats thinking it would be a safe bet and paid first installment in first quarter of 2007.
As per brochure construction was supposed to complete in approximately 30 months but it is almost more than 60 months (5 years) and still no signs of possession, construction is under way at a snail's pace.
