It is obvious that the TN Govt. has been struggling with its alarming financial crunch and wants to garner more& more revenues by all crooked methods to meet the expenses related to the new unwelcome projects involving huge amount announced daily by the CM.One of the unjustifiable ways is the recent hike in the property tax and other tax structures.
However, as petitions were made by the public to the Madras HC, the court announced an interim stay, restricting the Govt.not to collect the new tax until further orders in this regard.However, new tax coated with sugar, has been collected by the tax collectors of the Revenue Dept;They become the sole assessors of the taxes(perhaps as advised by their higher- ups), offering an instant rebate over the new tax.They offer 10% discount on the new tax and urge the property owners to accept the revised tax by them and pay the amount immdiately.It is gross violation of the Madras HC order that must note the same.This tricky, unhealthy trend in the Municipal corporation of the Greater Chennai will lead to corruptions further and should be arrested by all means, immediately.The Madras HC should intervene in this matter without any delay.

Greater Chennai Corporation has been despatching Notice 1 to the property owners in the metro regarding the General Revision of Tax-2022 .These notices are dated earlier as usual by more than a month.The Property owners who object to the increase are asked to write to the concerned Regional Dy.Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation within 15 days of receipt of the Notice OR else will be assumed that the surge in Tax with effect from First...

Consumer protection has become a mockery or ridicule in these days.No justice is rendered to the consumers and they are penalised for the faults of the state Govt.Consumers are not able to pay the taxes across the designated counters, as either the persons authorised to receive the taxes, are absent for long OR refuse to accept the payments.These officials are very arrogant and illtreat the consumers.Even the courts across the state fail to notice such types of mismanagements of state machineries.This state of affair is highly deplorable.The Govt.sets itself a wrong example.
There are many irregularities in the state departments, it is learnt.The Madras High Court should come down heavily on the state Govt.Property tax collectors donot go from door to door collecting taxes Or they skip their offices, frequently.Water tax is not able to be paid across the counters.
This is the state of affairs of TN Govt.CONSUMERS ACROSS THE STATE MUST HANG TOGETHER TO REFUSE THE PAYMENT OF TAXES.ILL- MANNERED BUREAUCRATS RULE THE STATE WITH THE SUPPORT OF THEIR BIGGBOSSES.

The new DMK govt.under the leadership of Mr.Stalin was formed in last May, 2021.But, the new govt.enhanced the taxes pertaining to property, water and Sewerage even from the first half of 2020 which their action is highly deplorable.Service charges pertaining to CMWSS have been increased by 30% with effect from April, 2020 which is unjustified.The Govt. Was not in existence in 2020 at all.The govt.does all nonsense without any justification.The reins of the State are grasped by crooked politicians.It is just like a garland in a monkey's hands!Mr.Nehru is the minister for Chennai corporation and it is regrettable to note that he has taken advantage of the situations and the pathetic public.His action of increasing the taxes is highly condemnable.He should rollback all the taxes that are hiked, immediately.
The Madras HC should take note of all the actions of the state govt.that are leading to corruptions.Suitable amendments of laws are the need of the hour to control the state govt.If the courts have any powers to exercise, they should not hesitate further and they have moral responsibilities to safeguard the interests of the public.Will the courts rise to the occasions?

Many Property owners are pained to note the shocking figure of the property tax in arrears for the half-year ending with 30.09.21.The corporation officials have stealthily hiked the tax without the knowledge of the property owners, which is highly deplorable.Also, they have mentioned the old house/
flat properties as brand new to justify the assessment of taxes with an abnormal rise.My flat constructed in 2006 has been conveniently mentioned as constructed in 2020.The TN Govt.and the Corporation of Chennai take the property owners for ###.The officials befool the public in their criminal attitudes.They have revised the tax cunningly to impose an additional and unjustified burden, on the property owners, it seems.The concerned Revenue officer/s should take note of this post to rectify the bills, immediately.The TN Govt.should roll back any hike in the tax done without giving chances to the property owners to address their grievances and to point out wrong infos.purposely carried out by the concerned officials at the behest of the state Govt.
All courts /judicial system are requested to take note of the public grievances in this regard.

I'm residing in no.149/10, Kamaraj street, G.K.M. colony, Chennai -600082. Here there are nearly 7 to 8 stray dogs which had been very big trouble to us. These dogs have always been peeing in front of our house or sometimes near our gate even we sprinkled bleaching powder or sprayed sanitizer all around our house and it's always howling and barking and giving some strange noises in midnight and in early morning which makes us very difficult to sleep and it's always disturbing for us and neighborhood too. And some of the dogs were infected and there is chance of spreading disease. So kindly send some dog catchers to catch these stray dogs.

This is a letter to draw your attention to the problem of mosquitoes in our area. For the past 3-4 months the problem of mosquitoes have increased rapidly. I'm from central part of chennai in mount road. It is a result of the insanitary slum areas and overflowing of drains. The drainage system in our locality is deplorable. These drains and the uncovered drums and water reservoirs of slum areas are the breeding areas of the mosquitoes.in the last month there were cases reported on dengue, and malaria. This could be really fatal for all o[censored]s in the society. This will severe the situation to the worst. That it would be really nice if you could personally visit our area and see the vulnerable condition yourself. If visiting personally is not possible then please send some of your representatives to take necessary action to stop the breeding of mosquito larvae

Against complaint no. 27093, your service person th. Seshan attended the cranking failure fault on 21.01.2019, but could not rectify the fault. Before attending the fault, all the pcc boards were healthy. After attending the fault, pcc boards were found burnt out. Now the 1010kva dg set (Model : kta38g5, sl. No.[protected] is in faulty condition. This dg source is the only alternate source for this amma maaligai building, greater chennai corporation.

In view o[censored]rgency, it is requested to restore the above complaint in a war footing stage.

This post is regarding revised property tax calculation in greater chennai corporation.
The procedure as to how the revised property tax is calculated has been published by chennai corporation in their online site - greater chennai corporation property tax calculator. After filling up all the property details and the property area in the relevant boxes, if the button "calculate demand" is pressed, the detailed calculation for the property tax is exhibited. From the above details, it may be seen that there is no rebate for owner occupied building (It is shown as "zero" whereas in the past 25% rebate was allowed) and further there is no rebate for the age of the building (As per good engineering practice 1 to 1.5% depreciation for every year is provided). Therefore it is requested to modify the calculation sheet taking into 25% rebate for owner occupied building and further allowing suitable depreciation for the age of the building. This will reduce the property tax burden to some extent.
I could not send this post directly to chennai corporation (The commissioner, property tax) as the e mail id of the officers are not available in public dominion.

, my name is franklin. I am from madhavaram. I have more than 15 street dog problems in my street. They come daily into my home place and they do out of my house and our neighbour's house. We can't tolerate it. We can't clean it daily. It makes our place very ugly. They come in night and they out of our doors. So, i request u to catch all the street dogs in my street as soon as possible. Everyone in my street have the same problem. So, please catch these dogs immediately.

I have raised complaint many times with corporation for garbage cleaning near mint street george town seven wells
Despite multiple ticket raised online, no one seems to be active enough to clean the street
The whole street is flooded with garbage and servants are also not cleaning, when asked they blackmail in turn us saying you compliant whomever you want!
Since the street flooded with garbage the diseases are spreading the whole street and people are getting effected with that

Dear sir/madam, i was living in perumal nagar 4th main road, 2nd cross street, (Kanni koil back street,) my problem is in my street, there was a one car parking in the my street the problem car are kept in on the way of street weekly 6 days, street, 12 feet road only.4 feet car accepted. The children also did not play, so many problems i was faced. So kindly take necessary actions without fail as earliest.

I would like to complaint on the illegal construction in kovur periyapanicheery. Am a resident of thiruvalluvar street, ambal nagar, next to the mentioned below people construction there house with no proper approval plan and constructed house without any single space between neighbourhood house. He constructed 3 floor house wihtout any parking.
All tenated are parking their bike in the road and disturbing the other peoples.
He is trying to construct a small room in 4 floor also. He extended their construction till half of the road.
If peoples asked him, he scolded them by using bad words

Please take the neccessary action to rescue the peoples who lives in my street from him

My sincere request to enforcement cell to visit the location and restrict the construction and insist them to follow up the rules laid by the cmda

Yesterday my car had got stuck into the ditches on this road near thirumalai vasan nagar as the uneven road with plenty of potholes and ditches which were disturbed by the rains. I have made several complaints to the chennai corporation on their toll free number but to no avail. This road is extremely bad condition since last rains and now after the rains it has become extremely dangerous and unusable.in this area the population has increased now as there are various townships such as vgn stafford in which people have started their living. It's high time to make these roads proper for the welfare of all people.
