Due to lack to analytical skills of joister technical team, my family were not able to use internet for 1 month (I was not in town) and joister refuse to log the ticket.
After a month (Came back to town) i manage to get a ticket from joister for the issue, but it was also closed next day (With out actiong on it) then i re-open th tickect and finally issue get resolved after 5 days (4 days prior on account expire) and issue was lan cable was broken from it's location connection.
Even after this joister management refuse to extend my connection, even after customer care & technical site team agree that it was the fault from joister end.

I genuinely suggest to all not to go with joister.

      Hi,
      I got a Diwali offer from joister through a joister sales person. I paid ~3050 INR for one year connections. But joister not able to install and setup the connection and not able to tell the reason why. However they issue a missed spell cheque in December. They asked me to fill the form so that they can issue correct cheque. It is almost 6monts I am still waiting for the refund cheque.
      Initially they are telling the person who signed the cheque is out of town. After that i called joister, send many emails but no reply. I am extremly frustated with joister. Please help me in getting my money refund since they are not able to provide the service.

        These guys are not professional.They took an advance of RS 10694 for a years service but were not able to install in our society due to issues only known to them.However it's been 20 days and I am following up for my refund and not getting satisfactory responses.My experience was terrible with Joister.Even after mailing them and calling them they are not acknowledging and giving me clear answers.Worst Company.

          I'm RANJANA KADAM. In last ten days I face the Connection problem. I give the complaint to Joister Broadband but no reply from them. I paid total amount of one month pack as per company policy.i paid total amount of one month pack as per company policy.Still my internet connection problem not solved. all are costumer executives does not attend call. and helpline is chargeable.
          all are technicians are not come on problem location. cheap and worst service provider.

            given xcuses while i sad to refund my amount which was given by cheque they are saying call on our had by giving no

            I am yash jain from mumbai. my net was not working from past 1 month and after daily false commitments and making fool of customers at the end they are saying we wont pay you back your money. i have waited to long for them to pay me ack but still they have no shame for either resolving it or to pay me back.

              The most pathetic service provider ever.
              Call center takes forever to answer, agents cannot speak or understand English, nor do they know what the problem is.
              Head office numbers are forever unavailable, call center manager is never available. They do not have their own wiring team or technician.
              Provided with a faulty Router as informed by the call center agent, seems the agent doesn't know what the problem is cos even without the router internet gets disconnected.Got the connection barely 10 days ago its disconnected more times than it stays connected.
              Worst worst worst provider. They are dreaming of connecting the country when they cant connect one local area where their head office is based.

              After sending them a Mail of Refund request for cancellation, below is the mail i get.

              Hello Mr. Vast,

              As per the issue you have mentioned in the below trail mail, we are unable
              to provide you with refund, as the router provided to you is a
              complimentary and we do not provide refund in any case were there isn't
              any technical issues from our side.

              This is the mail I get from some unpad who doesn't even know that, I have spoken to the Technical team after putting up a complaint on FB and tech person called me, and after 1 hour of investigation has already confirmed that there is a Technical issue with the wiring connection and IP conflict, As I am getting an IP of YOU broadband on a Joister Cable.

              He says the Router is for free, why did they advertise that we pay for full year and get a free router, then they are giving a faulty router and then have the audacity to say its free.. ???

              Check the number of complaints against the connection from Joister, Why are such companies allowed to operate?
              1.They don't have their own cabling team, its outsourced to a third party who they don't have control over, as I was told by their person that they cant pressurize them to do the cabling as its a third party.
              2.They don't have a tech team as when I asked them for a Local area Technician for Joister, they said they gave me a number to a third party office who said joister complaints call joister.
              3.Call center agents don't know what they are doing there, one agent told me the router is faulty, when it is not.
              4. The above reply to my refund request clearly shows they don't have co ordination among their own teams.

                Worst service i have ever faced. I want my money fully refunded. The net is not woking at all and when we call them they don't pick up the call immediately but keep you waiting for more then 10 minutes. If somehow they pick up the call they simply say by evening the problem will be solved but now iam fed up of this reply. Even after 5 days the problem persists. I want my money fully refunded otherwise will go to the highest authority in trai to get my complaint resolved..

                  Repetive net cut. No proper online support nor any one picks up call after 7pm and saturday sundays. From past three days net not working, if we call then they say they cant lodge complaint since portal not working and they will call back when its on but no call received and then no one is even picking. This cut off been very frequent nowdays. Every week or so have to call them once.
                  I am really frustrated with this company. Internet never works, worst customersupport ever. Nobody helps. All the time lieing.

                  I asked for the cancellation of my contract nobody cared. Nobody told me what to do. Just played with me.
                  Faltu net it is not working frm 7 to 8 days and i am calling again and agin in company and they r giving excuses faltu net this is my last net

                    i apply new joister for new connection but my application is rejected and they have taken my chq and my id proof but afer i have when their company asking my chq and id proof but they do not return my chq and id proof from 30 days then i have checked in my account amount have been detected from my account after that i when to joister return my amount they tell i will not return chq and amount i tell him i will make police complian the compay told whatever you do please look in matter urgent

                      The internet disconnects frequently and the the helpline number picked up the call and said that a technician will arrive in 3-4 hrs, but no one showed up.And then when i called the helpline number no one picked up .Their service is pathetic. We took the line just 15 days ago

                        Even though sending mails again and again there is no solution for frequent disconnection and
                        speed of just 0.4mbpc in plan of 25 mbps .
                        while calling joister customer care they are just saying we have received your complaints and mail,

                        compaint number 5003 but no one is bother to solve .

                        On 5th feb one of your engineer visited premises after checking all, he only told on monday we will come and reinstall the direct line which is now connected via via connection .

                        Kindly solve it as soon as possible or we write negative reviews online .

                          So I paid around Rs 2650 for 6 month 1 mpbs plan on 25th August. The sales guy told me wiring will be done max within 4 days. After 4 days I called the customer support everyday to get my connection started. They promised me everyday that will be done by the evening. They activated my account on 1 September when they knew my internet was not even started. Finally their engineer came on 5th September and only did the wiring. He said he will come by the evening and start the internet. He didn't come that evening. After wasting almost hour a day talking to customer support. He finally came after a week. The internet was working fine for 5 days then it went down for a week again. Again I called their call centre and like always they promised me to send someone. But they did not. After 2-3 days internet started working again. Guess what internet kept going down frequently again. When I called customer support they used to put me on hold for 20-25 mins and then hang up. Sometimes they even hanged up on me when I was telling them about issue. These bad mannered employees don't even know how to talk to customers. They always lie. They tell you problem with is your computer. When I tell them I have tried to login on other laptops. They hang up.In the month of October my internet was down for more than 10 days in a row. As usual calling their customer support was of no use.Then it started magically on its own as usual Then again on 31st Oct my net went down and I called their support for the last time and as usual no came to fix it. So on 5th ocotober I asked for a refund. Their rude employee called me immediately and asked me why I want a refund when the line is working perfectly. I told him explain to me how is the line working perfectly when I had working internet for like only 15 days in 2 months. Then he hung up.

                          I have wasted more than 500 minutes of my talktime talking to these cheats. I had to visit cyber cafe and buy internet pack on my phone when I had already paid for a broadband connection.Anyone who wants went through a similar situation and wants to take further action contact me at [protected]@gmail.com

                          Joister give me a refund or deduct 2 months charges refund rest of the money.

                            Hello, My username is sandeshwadal, I took this joister connection 25 days back. Since first tits showing me issues. In this 25 days my connection was not working for almost 10 days when I complain that to customer service each time they say it will be resolved in 2-3 hours but it doesn't . While when I try to call service Engineer they dont pick up the call if picked up once they drop in middle of discussion. This is worst service am getting from Joister. I will not recommend any one to get this service.

                              Hello, We have got new connection for 16 Mbps installed on 16th of September at 12 PM . Just after half hour later the network stopped . We are trying at joister office from yesterday, even given 2 times visit also . But haven't seen any technical person visit from last 48 hours. Is this the way Joister treat its customer.                                 Ref : - User name cc_aj_j802 located at Celestial City, Ravet, Pune 412101. Ajay Jindal [protected] The company is providing Broadband services to the residents of Celestial City and almost all customers are complaining of Data limit getting exhausted for no reason. I lost GB in less than days in July and 30 GB in less than 50 days for residential usage. I have 4 commercial establishment at various locations with TATA Broadband and even at place with 20 operators the DATA usage is not more that 14/15 GB. This is a serious issue with a common customer paying heavy price. The so called customer care is not able to provide the usage details and insisting that everything is right despite various follow ups with [protected]@joister.net, [protected]@joister.net, vision.solutions.[protected]@gmail.com, [protected]@joister.net, [protected]@joister.net Please guide
                                Hey Ajay me too faced same issue with my 4mbps 10gb plan with Joister in Baner area Pune where this Joister operator named Nexus Solutions provides connectivity. My plan got consumed in just 19 days. Couldnt believe firstly but thats what the portal indicated
                                Took up my complaint with the Operator and Joister and received similar responses from them that there is nothing wrong with our data consumption calculation policies. Felt cheated and was extremely annoyed! My friend also (in pune) had such an issue but with different ISP, Pacenet or Spectranet if im not mistaken. Another friend of mine staying in Mumbai too had similar complaints with his ISP... But i was convinced iv not consumed so much data as my use was mostly surfing, youtube videos and rare downloading.. Joister didnt accept that there was a problem here so i myself being bit of technical 'keeda' I decided to do my own fact finding and investigation

                                Then after some research i came across some information regarding data caching server technology which this ISP along with few others implement. Few other ISPs which came up are Lunatech, Dvois, pacenet etc. Very few private ISPs in India have this google caching server installed as they have to pay extremely heavy infrastructure costs in maintaining them...

                                What a caching server does is that it caches all data which any user accesses for first time... especially youtube videos into this. This caching of data enables customer of such ISP to access these same videos with any buffering even on higher resolution mode.

                                This made me find automatic answer to my long pending question as to why my previous Airtel/BSNL BB plan used to buffer so much for youtube videos inspite opting for a 2Mbps plan (which also showed on speedtest)...
                                Infact under this cachin server technology a plan having capping speed of merely 1Mbps can literally download data internally at a whopping 10Mbps+ depending on data transfer policy set by ISP to download locally from their local caching servers. Today 80-90% videos on Internet/youtube/facebook are HD quality which means even a simple 5 minite duration video could consume anywhere between 100 - 200mb (Now thats hard to believe but its a fact) And watching even 30-50 minutes of such videos without buffering could end up us consuming over 1Gb data with ease!!! Took me over 2 months of research to understand this concept. Now the next question which came to my mind was 'Why would any ISP want to implement such a caching server??"

                                Answers were obvious 1) To give seamless video watching experience to customer 2) Higher data consumption o[censored]ser due caching means quick data expiry which means quicker renewals. But this also can harm ISP as this same caching helps customers with unlimited data usage plans to consume more bandwith... And again bandwidth means costs to ISP as they too have to buy it from the bigger ISPs like Bharti Tata etc. But thats the tradeoff ISPs have to make.
                                And as far as legality is concerned its legal as DOT and TRAI are very well aware of this 😕

                                Please understand im not advocating Joister or any other Isp who does this but its nice to know why a certain thing we perceive as a problem may actually not be that much of a problem/fault.

                                On a lighter note iv now changed my plam from 4mb 10gb to 2mbps ul and with this
                                Im making sure that i consume hell lot of more Gbs so that joister ends up paying more... Hahaha my revenge :D

                                So Having thoroughly understood the technical aspect Im now at ease as I no longer feel cheated ☺

                                Great reply and absolutely apt. Thanks for giving this info. I have been thinking of getting this UL plan. Your insight has helped. One more add on is that Joister after persistent follow up gave me a additional 30GB recharge free of cost on 20th Oct 2014 and even that data is now due to get over in a day or two.

                                Anyways your answer and research will help not only me but many others in the group.
                                Poor service me too had similar problem at dombivili thane area . My 8 mbps 20gb plan was consumed in few days. On top of which the service provider was also not aware as to what was happening. He even does not receive myy calls . I again gave him rs 500 for renewal which he did promptly but after 2 days I m not getting net service. I tried calling my service provider without any response.                                 Either close down the Joister if you have any other connection available there ir take an unlimited plan. Alternatively if you wish to persist with the same plan just remove the Youtube and similar surfing out of your internet browsing.

                                Don't apply for this joister internet service provider, I have applied for this connection in Blue ridge Pune, they take a cheque from me and promised that the connection will be activated in 1 day and now after 7 days the connection is not yet started and even they are not picking up the phone the contact person is kalidas and even they are not giving there office contact no.

                                Please think before you take this connection, my suggestion is go for tata doccomo broadband.

                                There should have been an option for a negative star if i had to rate this worst internet service provider. They will give u a good speed for a few months or days depending on your plan and then their speed will get worse. If you call their customer care, it takes 10-25 minutes of waiting time till u get a response and then they promise to solve your issue in the next 24 hours, but they wont show up. i once had to call their customer care for 3 consecutive days and I visited their office 3 times, yet no one came to solve my issue, even when they promised me each time that they will solve my issue in 24 hours. They are very careless and they do not value their customers and they will never attend any problem that you are facing. In short, worst internet speed, pathetic customer service, waste of money.
                                My experience with Joister has been far more better than what some members here have mentioned.
                                I think service depends majorly on how the operator attends to you as customer.

                                This operator in wakad Alliance Telecom provides Joister connectivity.. to tell you the truth I have used Tikona, You broadband, Tata, Airtel as well 3g dongles frm idea n vodafone. But Joister stands apart. Firstly coz of Cachin server for Google n Youtube which helps me watch videos seamlessly. I have 2 mbps ul plan. They charge me Ra 970 all inclusive. Cachin open till 8 mbps thts cool. Downtime is minimum and speed rarely drops. In case of any issue from their Bankend their technician attends calls and confirms etr for fixing. Very personalised service. Just in case i have some issue i call n technician is at my home to check within 30 mins s he is always around in the complex or vicinity, no need for raise online tickets/complaints n waiting for 48 hrs for someone to get back. This concept ofctechnician being availble within your society premises is so cool! Makes biiig difference...Overall very satisfied. Keep up the good service. Cheers! 😊
