I am writing a complaint in regards to the rising electricity bill. The electricity bill has been extremely high lately. I am a single bachelor with my nephew and I cannot handle such high prices because my job has been lost. Now I am an unemployed person.
I have paid Rs. 300.00 last month dated on 27 Oct 2020.
But this month's bill is INR 850.00.
I can not understand what is going on. maximum days the lights remain off. So I can not effort this bill.
I would specifically like to know if there is any kind of issue with my electricity meter, as I have been using the same amount of electricity as other months, and yet my bill is extremely higher.
I know that I have not been using more electricity than before and I have not been using any power-consuming large electrical appliances. Therefore, I believe there is a problem with my electricity meter.
I ask that you send someone from CESC to come and inspect it as soon as possible so that I will not be overcharged again.
