Dear Sir/Madam,
In context to electricity disconnection in my premises by CESC, I need an
information from you. Can CESC disconnect electricity if they don't get
access to the meter(s) for say, 6-7 months, given the fact the bills are
paid by CRES/E-payment and there is sufficient deposit available under
CRES? If so, where is the rule? As per Sec.56 of The Electricity
Act 2003, apparently, there is no such provision!
Can an essential service like water and light be denied on such a flimsy
ground? Could you please enlighten me?
Thanking you and with regards,
Yours faithfully,
A.Sen
