Hello,

This is regarding a booking that we had made on jul-30 with booking id - 817393.

Here is a summary on the sequence of events fyi:
Within few minutes of booking, i received an email stating that the booking has been cancelled.
I had then called your customer service and ms. Sanchal from you team had helped me with the below.

The from ticket "chennai to mumbai" - jet airways got re-confirmed and no issues with it.

The to ticket "mumbai to chennai" - could not be confirmed.
On talking to the airlines (Indigo) support person (Mr. Chalid) in conference with cheap ticket customer support agent (Ms. Sanchal), they suggested that the ticket cannot be confirmed again. Instead, if we book a very similar ticket with indigo afresh paying the complete price, they would initiate the complete refund of the amount (Rs. 4250) that was paid for the earlier booking.

I learnt that this process would typically take about 7-10 business days for indigo to refund it to cheaptickets and cheap tickets to return the same into my credit card account.

However, it has been more than 20 days and i do not see any refund made till date

This is follow up on our discussion, i haven't received any call or email from your company yet confirming my refund. Its 3 days since i did the booking.

The very proof of the reference number 1117913 given by your customer care department says that you have booked my ticket but not issued to me.

So kindly refund the amount as the same is already deducted from my account and ticket is not issued.

As a proof i have submitted all documents already convincing that the amount is deducted from my account towards your company account as per sms and statement.

Kindly do the needful and resolve the matter asap.

I requested middle name of passenger to be added to name in ticket i had booked just an hour earlier. Cheaptickets.in got back saying i would have to pay cancellation charge of rs 16000 while airline says they can reissue ticket with new name for just about rs. 2700 but i had to do through travel agent whom i had booked ticket. Seems like a total scam this website - rs. 16000 just to cancel a ticket i hadn't booked an hour earlier

I booked a ticket from bangalore to toronto on date august 27th 2017 from cheapticket.in website. Booking date 18th july 2017. On august 3rd 2017 i cancelled the ticket. I have got a confirmation mail from them saying the ticket has been cancelled and refund amount will be received within 5-7 working days.
But still now i did not recieve my refund money. So kindly request you to pay attention on my complain and take action as soon as possible.

I tried booking a flight from phnom penh to bangkok for 2 people. Original fare shown was 8700, once i paid i was later sent a mail asking for a fare difference of rs 4592. Although the same price flight is still available on the kayak website. The this is clear case of defrauding the customer. I’m not getting any response from the customer care as well.
Kindly get the issue resolved.

I booked a ticket from kiev to mumbai on date july 2 and return ticket on september 2 in cheapticket.in website. Booking date 21 th april. On the same day i cancelled the ticket. But still now i did not recieve my refund money. So kindly request you to pay attention on my complain and take action as soon as possible.

I'm shakil i book ticket from your cheapticket.in but for some reason i can't fly same day that's why i want to reschedule my booking instead of 28 september i want to reschedule my date on 26 october and return date from 2 october to i want to reschedule on 30 october i'm sending mail to your customer care calling but totally no response i just feel somthing wron is that fridge web site or what i'm ready to pay fee for reschedule my date but you should support instead of iqnoring my mail and call

Sir this is shovik darker. I booked a ticket from agartala to guwahati for 14/08/17 2:30pm flight but i didn't got any msg or mail from ur end but my amount have been debited from my account. I want a refund of the difference between the original cost of the tickets and the added fees added by cheap tickets. I will contact federal trade commission to report this misconduct if no resolution is found. Unacceptable to pay more for same flight. I appreciate any effort made to resolve this issue, i understand that others have had similar experience to mine and this must be remedied.

We did contact them, they stated that they are not responsible for
United flight times listed. Therefore i expect since your airline is
Responsible for who it allows to act as an agent, in this case the huge
Company cheap tickets, that you will and can do something about how they
Represent your company. I have the option of contacting the federal
Trade commission, in order to report this type of conduct. I had to pay
300 dollars more for the same flights i wanted in the first place. Not
To mention i have not paid for my luggage space on the plane yet either.
I have contacted the federal trade commission in the past on issues
Similar to this issue and have received a positive response from the
Commission in a very timely basis. I won't hesitate to do the same this
Time. This is unacceptable conduct for an airline to use an agency who
Makes a profit from your company and then claim flights are not your
Responsibility.

I booked a flight on 10.07.2017 on cheap tickets.in . As per the company terms and conditions, they should confirm my flight within 2 hours but they didn't do that, instead of that their executive called me and demanded me more money for confirmation. They are doing biggest online fraud with customers as they show different flight rate on website and after booking they demand more money. I request consumer forum to take strict action regarding that, and request all my friends to never book a flight from them

I booked a ticket from del to lko on 08/07/17 fr 08/07/17 bt due to website glitch the ticket was booked fr 09/07/2017. I called the customer care the very moment but the lady asked to call go air. After trying for 4 hours I called them again to cancel my ticket which was for 3132 inr. Now the team said they can't refund cz the ticket was confirmed.
This was all their strategy to increase there bookings. The customer care executive told me they will refund 125inr. Instead of 3132inr.

I had booked tickets to bali considering the low fare offered by cheapticket.in. After payment never received the confirmation. When called the customer care they said i need to pay extra. They said either pay extra to get the tickets else can get full refund in 5-7 working days. It's been 8 days still not received the refund. It's 1lakh not small money.

I have booked an indigo airline ticket vide booking id 592719 through this agent on 12.05.17, and cancelled within few minutes.on time of cancellation they said that about Rs 8500 have been refunded and i agree to cancel ticket. after cancellation they are not refunded my noney.i have requested several times on phone and email also.i have not received refund till date.i have also sent my bank statement which shows no any credit as their screen shot for satisfaction.now after calling them they said that after cheking i will call back but no responce.it seems that they have no attention on my request or want to not refund my money

I made a booking for myself and my family from chennai to Adelaide through cheaptickets.in
They made a mistake in entering Surname of my baby and when I called them to correct it. They refused to do it and telling me to go in airport counter for changing this myself. I put conference call with Airlines and cheaptickets customer care person Sitaram where airlines confirmed it's cheapticket's mistake so they must cancel my baby's ticket and reissue new ticket with correct name as per his passport. But cheapticket is refusing to do that as they have to pay penalty for doing this.

I tried booking a sxr-bom flight today at around 5pm. Although the payment was deducted from my bank amount, I received no confirmation from your end. No email, no sms, no booking id, no PNR, absolutely nothing. Upon contacting the customer care I was told that the status of my payment is 'pending', and that I should call back in a couple of hours. I called back after three hours, only to hear the same response.
Now this is not the first time I'm booking tickets, but it sure was ye first time using cheapticket.in, and the experience was outright terrible.

I urge you to resolve my query at the earliest or refund my money, and I'll book from elsewhere.

Pathetic agent! I booked three tickets considering the extremely low fares on offer. I paid the amount and they said that the payment is pending and they refused to issue tickets. To validate my claim that they have received the money I contacted their payment processor, CCAvenue. They confirmed that CheapTicket had received my payment. It is horrendous that a customer has to mediate miscommunications between a travel agent and ITS payment processor. This is the customer service’s job. Instead, they asked ME to call THEIR payment processor to confirm that my payment has reached THEM. What horrible customer service. The first time I called they just shunned me saying ‘payment has not been received’.

After two days of running behind this horribly failing institution, they said that they have received the payment but required further confirmation from their ‘accounts team’. I waited for another day and had to call THEM four times. Then finally they confirmed that they received the payment but asked me for EXTRA PAYMENT as the fare had increased because they could not validate a single transaction in time due to their pathetic infrastructure and incompetent customer service. I refused to pay extra and demanded a refund.

NEVER book tickets using this defrauding site. Bunch of pathetic losers thieving off of consumers. The entire operation is a sham. I strongly believe that they refused to acknowledge the transaction at first so that they can benefit from an increased fare and therefore an increased commission. I have read of many such complaints and this only strengthens my case.

I refrained from suing this incompetent travel agency in Consumer Court merely because I do not have the time on my hand. Otherwise the accumulation of complaints on this board will be enough to knock this unprofessional organization out of business.

NEVER BOOK TICKETS FROM THIS SCAMMING FRAUDSTER! I DEMAND reparation for the extra charges I have incurred due to the delay of recognition of my payment to CheapTicket

I had booked 2 tickets through Cheap Ticket on 24 Jan for my travel on 20 Feb. Incidentally I had to cancel my flight as I would not be flying. While I attempted to cancel the ticket through the website, I was directed to call [protected].
While booking I had chosen the refundable ticket option. While I call almost 10 days in advance to cancel the ticket. I am responded that I cannot cancel the ticket and I will not get any reimbursement.
