In siruvallur road, perambur under ward 69, at the junction of beer shop lane and siruvallur road (Opp. The transformer) a valve was fixed and construction work completed weeks back. The earth dug up is still there surrounding this work causing traffic bottle neck in morning and evening during school hours. Matter was personally taken up with the concerned ae/metrowater of ward 69 (Opp. Venus park) and daily phone calls to the concerned ae to no avail. She responds positively and promises to take action, but does nothing. We face the traffic bottle neck because of this earth work and not removing the earth dug up here. This work requires less than half-an-hour, one man with a shovel can do the job. It baffles me why the above metro water official is quite not doing the job. The corporation council member for ward 69 was also kept in the loop. But status quo continues. Was this information helpful? |
