[Resolved] City Union Bank — Illegitimate bank account tagged to my mobile number

I have been receiving transaction notifications frequently from city union bank account number xxxxxxxx06 for the past 2 months. I doesnt have any bank account in city union bank and am using the same mobile number ([protected]) for the last 10 yrs. I suspect a fake account may have been created with my aadhar photocopy handgloving with bank officials which is not surprising these times. There is a possibility i may be taxed for the illegal monetary transfers. I have called the city union bank customer service twice who acknowledged their mistake and reasoned out possible data entry error of inputting my phone number but failed in keeping up their promise of discontinuing notification to my mobile number. If the problem is not resolved now, i will sue the bank in consumer court for their negligence in causing me a psychological disturbance.

We regret the inconvenience caused. One of our customer had given this mobile number to be updated in our banking records. We Identified the customer and instructed our branch to update the correct mobile number from the customer
