I recently booked a flight ticket from Mumbai to Frankfurt from ClearTrip.com[protected] at a price higher then the Emirates website obviously thinking of better customer support. Unfortunately since the VISA was approved for a day lesser than my booking date. I realized it after booking the ticket so I called in Customer Service within 24 hours to shift the date a day earlier but the customer service officer stated asking for a hefty rescheduling charges of about 20% of the ticket price and instead of rescheduling the return ticket forced to reschedule both inward and outward journey ticket. When I contacted Emirates for the rescheduling they were ready to offer for free and could have offer flexibility to make changes only in the return journey as I informed them within 24 hours but unfortunately since I booked via ClearTrip.com they couldn't help me any further.
ClearTrip.com claims that the charges are levied by Airline but its not true as Emirates gave it to me on email that why can't ClearTrip.com alter one side journey.
I felt is totally cheated & misinformed and regret booking ticket with ClearTrip.com.
I cannot afford to pay 20% charges for rescheduling and about 40% charges for cancellation of ticket as its simply unrealistic charges far more then what the Emirates is charging.
I need help in rescheduling my inward flight from Frankfurt. Was this information helpful? |
