Hi,
My father tried to book a return trip to Kathamandu for my monther and nani on[protected]. The trip was made and someone by the name of Jaswant from cleartrip made the package. As my father does not know online payment process he asked to do the same on his behalf.
While the package was being made and cleartrip wanted me to make the payment, I received 20 calls in the space of one hour to do the payment. I finally make the payment but jasvant tells me that the prices have been increased and I would need to make 500 rs extra payment. Having already paid 22500, I was forced to agree to make the extra payment. Half an hour later Jasvant from Cleartrip calls up my father and informs that we would now need to make an extra payment of 2500 as the prices have increased again. I called them and asked that how could the so called ' real time' prices could increase if they have already booked the trip half and hour ago. to which Jasvant replies that he has still not booked the tickets.
Then to top it all he suggests an alternate flight in which I would have to pay only 2000 extra. I had to reluctantly agree as they already have my 22500, after waiting till evening this Jasvant informs me (now I had to make calls as they already had my money) that he cannot book the tickets as there is some problem with the back end. So in all they wasted my whole day, I saw the tickets to Indigo getting full and Spice jet prices increase and I had to pay 22500 for NOTHING.
Now I have been trying to get my money back. it's been more than 2 weeks and multiple mails and calls but I am yet to get anything back.
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING FROM CLEARTRIP, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THUGS AND CHEATS WHO WOULD CALL YOU ONLY TILL THE TIME YOU PAY. REST YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.

We are sorry about the unpleasant experience. As replied to your email yesterday, we have already processed the refund on 2nd May and also gave you the refund details. As requested, please check with your bank for the refund to be credited into your account by them.
