I took club jiva membership while i was in mahabaleshwar on 3rd aug, 2018 and made the payment of rs. 35, 000/- by my credit card after attending the presentation at hotel j's excellency by your representative rohini patil, contact: [protected].
I was informed that my membership will start from jan 2019 and that i would be getting a welcome call to share my membership details and welcome kit for which i have not been contacted and till date i've not received any membership documents. I have been trying to contact them since last 2 days and spoke with customer care representative –neha @[protected].
Neha asked us to drop a mail at [protected]@clubjiva.in and that her manager meena sharma would revert on the same.
The representative advised that they cannot refund the amount paid and asked me to review my agreement and my agreement is going to commence from jan 2019 for which they haven't even contacted me yet.
When my agreement is going to commence from jan 2019, then how is my agreement in effect now. Secondly as per your official club kivabe website in disclaimer, point 6. Cancellation/refund terms it clearly states i can cancel within 7 days from the date of purchase.
If i have been promised for callback to confirm my details and even after following uo and i have just been told to wait back, how can i trust that my queries will be acknowledged in future if there's any inconvenience caused by availing your services
I wrote multiple follow - up reminder emails @ [protected]@clubjiva.in for refund but no revert on those emails.
I have already mailed you all details and requested for refund on 07/08/2018 of rs. 35, 000/ - which is already in 7 days cancellation window.

Upon opening the voucher I was shown that I have won a gift which included TV, Holiday package worth 21, 000₹, Tab and a 10000₹ rupees cash and inorder to avail that gift I need to attend 1 hour presentation and then they would scratch the voucher to avail my gift.
I was then taken to Hotel J's Excellency where they asked me to show the bank card we use and then we were introduced to Rohini Patil who then started off with explaining how we would want to spend our holiday and lured with lucrative offer such as accomodation in 4 & 5 star hotels and avail amenties at no extra cost.
All we had to do is take their membership and we would exprience world class amenities by Club Jiva.
They tried to sell us package for 2, 10, 000₹ with membership term of 25 years which we declined as this was too much for us. They then started negotiating and finally stated they will give us charter package with membership for 5 years with 35, 000₹.
The representative informed that we activate our membership from Jan'19 as this would make the term more feasible and help us make EMI payments in that year and then swiped our credit card for 35, 000₹.
They then made agreement on stamp paper and nowhere they have mentioned anything about membership details in that agreement. They also stated that we would get welcome call from Club Jiva for sending Occupancy certificate.
Since then we have been following up and we have been chasing Rohini Patil as to when we will get welcome call and we were just told we will get it soon. This made me suspicious and the moment I opened Club Jiva site I was shocked to see Complaints by customers who were cheated the same way and some of them are still awaiting refund.
I then checked Club Jiva website and in their disclaimer policy it is mentioned that we can cancel our membership within 7 days from the date of purchase.
I took membership on 3rd August'18 and requested cancellation on 7th August'18 and instead of looking into refund process they are refusing stating their managers will be the one who will respond.
I have attached the trail mail of communication between Club Jiva, me and my friend. We have also informed the same to Axis bank and filled the transactio dispute form for the same
I sincerely request you to assist me in getting our refund as this is our hard earned money and that we have been given false commitment and false assurance.
