My Experience with Airtel Customer Care at this rate I don't think any customer issues will get resolved
My 1st Email to Airtel Customer Care

I have submitted MNP from BSNL to Airtel for No. [protected] which is in the Name of Subramanian.P (My Father) on Wednesday 21st September 2011, I had submitted the following forms and documents to AIRTEL Nehru Circle Kumara Park Bangalore
1) MNP Request Form signed by Subramanian.P
2) Prepaid Enrolment form signed by Subramanian.P
3) PAN Card Copy as Identity Proof of Subramanian.P
4) BSNL Landline Bill Copy as Address Proof of Subramanian.P
The above mentioned No. [protected] was successfully ported to Airtel and activated on 3rd October 2011
On 7th and 8th October 2011 received SMS from AIRTEL asking me to resubmit all the documents or else outgoing calls would be restricted in 48 hours
Would like to know what happened to the Forms and Documents already submitted on Wednesday 21st September 2011 at AIRTEL Nehru Circle Kumara Park Bangalore
I spoke to Airtel customer care and the outlet AIRTEL Nehru Circle Kumara Park Bangalore and received unsatisfactory answer they repeatedly asked me to submit the Forms and Document again
Negligence of some people at Airtel is causing pain to customers like us
I have again resubmitted all the following forms and documents at Airtel outlet Dr.Rajkumar Road Bangalore on Saturday 8th October 2011
1) MNP Request Form signed by Subramanian.P
2) Prepaid Enrollment form (S.No. KK10A0 [protected] signed by Subramanian.P
3) PAN Card Copy as Identity Proof of Subramanian.P
4) BSNL Landline Bill Copy as Address proof of Subramanian.P
I request Airtel to confirm the receipt of the above mentioned document and request not to harass us like this

1. Switch off your mobile.
2. Remove the SIM card from your mobile.
3. Reinsert the SIM card in your mobile.
4. Switch on your mobile.
5. In network selection, choose the manual network and latch on to Airtel network.
Further, for STD and ISD mobile numbers, please prefix "0" or "00" and in case of Land line STD/ISD, specific code should be prefixed.
Also, we request you to check your SIM in any other handset.
Please revert with the following details in case the concern persists:

Duration of the concern
Complete address with landmark
Handset model
Number of Signals (0; 1; 2; 3; 4; 5)
Error Message/Announcement received

We would like to inform you that, your Outgoing and Incoming call services are currently active, as per our records.
As per the TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) guidelines and in the interest of National security, we request you to follow the below mentioned process to resubmit your recent documents at any of the nearest airtel relationship centres:
Step 1: Please fill the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF)
Step 2. Paste your Passport size photograph on CAF with cross signature.
Step 3: Submit Proof of Identity and Proof of Address.
Proof of Identity ¿ Passport/Driving License/Ration Card with Photo/PAN Card/ Voters ID.
Proof of Address - Passport, Driving License, Ration Card with Photo, PAN Card, Voters ID, Water Bill / Landline Telephone bill / Electricity Bill / Credit Card Statement (not older than 3 months).
In case of non receipt of documents, the Outgoing and Incoming services will be blocked in 3 days. Further, the number will be temporarily deactivated within 3 days; from the day number has been blocked.
Please find attached the details of airtel relationship centre for your reference.
We hope that we have been able to address your query suitably.
