I am a foreign national who lives in Rajat Vihar, Sector 62, NOIDA. I had contacted the nearest Airtel showroom for a broadband connection. So a guy named Akil came to my house and took 1500 rupees for connection fees and gave me the receipt, about 5 weeks ago. Since then I contacted him few times and he told me that since there is no available free connection from the existing router broadband could not be provided to me as for a single person a new router can not be placed. So either I will have to wait for a connection to free up or for more people from that area to request so as to put a new router. However, I opted for my money back and he told me that he will initiate the process and within two weeks I will get the cheque. Then after I called him after two weeks only to know that the thing is under process. Now in total more than 5 weeks have elapsed and I am still waiting for the cheque. Yesterday when I called him he gave me this number: [protected] and told me that his senior, a lady named Sujata will be at this number and she will be able to help me out. I have tried at least 10 times on this number but no one picks up. I guess I have no other way than to drag Mr. Akil and Airtel to consumer court to get my money back and for all the mental tension I have been through. Was this information helpful? |
