[Resolved]  Airtel Broadband Connection — Fraud Invoicing Operations

Bill generating date - 27th April 2009

I had taken the Airtel landline connection in 2007 March( approx) with broadband facility.Till last month, every thing was fine except the company Name & address of the connection. It reflects on some other Name.The regular billing till March was Rs 400( max)

However, In the last week of April 2009, I requested for a Wifi modem at my home.The modem with all settings was installed perfectly.I paid onetime charges with a separate cheque for Rs 1795 for the modem.I also got installed the landline instrument, for which the charges was tobe included in the next bill.

When I got the bill for the month of April on 1st May, it was for Rs 6200.The bill details include the following -
1) Modem rentals from year 2005 till date - Rs 3000( approx)
2) Modem one time charges - 1795

From May till date, I have been followingup with the Airtel folks and they have been assuring to rectify the bill in 24hrs. Now, it has been more than 2 months( April & May), there are no signs of response from Airtel.They had also disconnected my out going calls in thelandline and broadband. After repeated calling, they have re-installed my broadband but not the landline. In the last 01 month, I have called them atleast 15 times and they have put me on hold on every call for 15-20 mins. Why should I waste my money for their fault??

The Airtel services in Karnataka are poor and they should shut their services in this region with immediate effect. They cannot run the show in such a careless & unprofessional manner.

I strongly urge the officials to take action, else I would be forced to proceed in to the court.

Airtel/Airtel BroadBand connection — fraudulent Activity

I am using airtel broadband internet service for the last 1 and half years. I am a regular payer of the bill without any interruption. In the month of august i had got a call from airtel customer service to change my monthly subscription internet service scheme to Rs.999 comboservice(Rs.999(internet charge) + Rs.999(Fixed Rent on Landline Phone)). Before that i was using Rs.699 unlimited scheme.I had denide to change that scheme. But later on they had changed my scheme to Rs.999 unlimited combo pack with out any notice to me. When the bill came it shows the amout against Rs.999 combo scheme. I made a lot of complain against that mistake and overbill amout. They were again and again discnnecting when i was making compain against that mistake. Now they are telling wrong information that i was using their internet broadband connection for the last 3 years. Also telling that I have never used the Rs.699 unlimited combopack since i am a customer of their service instead i am using Rs.999 combo pack pack service for the last 3 years. I need a satisfactory action against my complain.

Airtel/broadband connection — TECHNICIANS OF AIRTEL GIVING FALSE REPORT

Sir, at Bhopal -MP.-Capital , company like Airtel executives are supporting false statement of tecnicians
going to home for installation of broad band wi-fi connections (new/old-got disconnected due to outstation period ) that " yor wi -fai appratus is out of order ) get it repaired or purchase new from us.

while wi-fai all the lights shows system in order in all respect.

2. they connect telephone and run away , now customer comes in tension and reports matter to the person who came to get form filled up and takes installation charges.

But he also support the technicians

3. then customer reports matter tto next authority/ customer care - the says we will send an engineer , but no body turns up .

4. at few places , technicians - started internate by lane( cord) connection to show they are correct - give password to customer and says get wi-fi rectified/ purchase new fom us.

5 smart
customers - install wifi them selves as password was available to them, and report matter at cutomer care and connected executive who came for form filling .


so now they are taking precaution not to activate and give pass word to customer.

this is a scandle to sale beetle wi-fi duly supported by line authority/customer care of airtel.

i am a custmor of airtel brodband connection for internet i have take 6 month plans which start 30 july2010 to 3o jan 2011 so it has renew on 30 jan 2011 to 30 july 2011 so a excutive came to me to collact amount
and sure me that services will activate i hv sumit my amount about 4200 but service till now no started 3 month has gone i hv complain in airtel office also my prob is still not solved please help me wht should i do
