I am unable to use the call barring feature. it was working fine before but i forgot the call barring password . i tried a few password and it got blocked. now i cant change the call barring password. it get error "Barring password blocked". i tried contacting Airtel customer case many times but as per them its a cellphone feature and suggested me to contact Nokia for the same . i explained them by sharing the manual of the Nokia model that its a service provider server and they don't agree. please get the Call barring password unblocked and share the new password with me. To activate incoming call barring its *35*1234# and to de activate #35*1234# and to activate out going call its *33*1234# and to de activate its #33*1234#...

Airtel Prepaid — calls barred despite having balance
I bought 2 prepaid sims from Airtel. The number are [protected] and [protected]. I have supplied proof of address and photographs twice. Once to teh retailer and once to the Customer care centre at Chetput. But still they have barred outgoing calls. The call centre is one of the worst I have ever seen. When we want to contact the customer service executive and press the required button, it says thank you for calling airtel and cuts the line. I really dont know what to do. Please help. One of the cards has almost Rs. 600 balance.My email id is [protected]@hotmail.com and my another airtel number is [protected]

This is you update you that i have purchased Airtel Pre Paid connection in the Month of Jan '11 and submitted all the relevant details i.e Identity Proof at the same time itself every was going fine but now from past 1 week i am unable to make my outgoing calls and when contacted the CC of Airtel was informed on 25th March '11 i need to submitt my documents once again as it has been rejected so i have visited to the INDIRANAGAR Airtel Outlet on 29th Mar '11 where i was informed that the number will be recycled with in a week.
My question how can you recycle the number without giving me any prior notice and any information on the same as i have already given the number around 100 Members now i can't change my number to other network when the number has update to the recycle why cant you give the same number to the same person who has been already using that number.
As i regurlaly travel from Bangalore to Chennai so i also using Airtel Pre Paid connection of Chennai so the Karnataka connection will be switched.
So i request you higher concern person please look into it and do the needful

Airtel — Incoming Error-Number not in use Error for the same number from which I am making Out going
My name is Muthukumar ([protected]), When someone call this they are getting error saying that Number Not in Use but I am able to make Out going from the same number.I had vodafone connection through mobile portability I have changed my number to AIRTEL with the hope of having better service.
From this number number I was able to make out going calls to any number but not able to receive any incoming call. When someone calls to this number they are getting error saying that "The number not in use". Regading this issue I made a Continues complaint to their represntative, nodel, appellate and directly into AIRTEL show room at porur,chennai. I am facing this problem from past two days and there is no improvement on this.
I am really fed-up of asking this people anymore, so I steped into this site. Could someone help me out.?

Airtel — Outgoing going calls are blocked
Hi,I'm in Nagapandi, i'm using this Airtel Service with the number [protected]. From 5th Semptember 2011, All outgoing calls fro my number are being forwarded to the address verification department of Airtel, With out any prior information. Even though i verified it on 5th Sep itself, i can't get the service till now. But the Executive told that, u will get the service with in 24 hours.
kindly let me know the proper reason for this poor service from airtel. And activate the service as earlier as it's possible.
