Airtel — Mcheck application is not working

Hi,

Myself Mr. Sachin Bhagwan Bhairat using airtel service since long time. I have a problem related to online bill payment application (Mcheck)

I was using mcheck application on airtel mobile for payment of bill. But since last month i'm not able to access the mcheck application on my handset.
It is giving error "Accont Verification in progress Click Ok to continue."

I had word with airtel customer service executives but they always denying and saying that this problem is from ICICI bank. Then i had contacted with ICICI bank customer service executives 4 to 5 times regarding this while they were saying that the virtual card is already been activated. Again when i called to airtel then they raised the complaint ("Service request[protected]") dated 28th April 2009. And executive said that they will call back within 48 hours, but they didn't call me & said that your cell was not reachable. While when they were raising the compalaint i asked them whether u required any alternate number but executive denied.

After that i called to 121 to ask the updated on complaint then after their team called me saying that now your mcheck application problem has been resolved and work fine. I tried to acces that application but no way...Then again i called to 121 executive was saying if you call us again (i.e. 3 times) for same complaint then we'll close your complaint by our end without intimating you. Their support team told me the procedure for checking of mcheck aplication. But then also mcheck was giving same error so executive asked me to send sms "CARD" on 543219. I had send the sms but still i'm facing the same problem.

Now when i'm calling to 121 they are cut down the phones they are denying to answer ot talk with me.

I am paying my bill on time. Using mcheck application for that if in case i'm out of town then it is easy to pay bill on time.

Please suggest in this regards.

If you look sceptically at it, Airtel has introduced a new service and there in when you dial 543219, you can recharge your cell or pay bills. I thing they have purposely deactivated this service so that we can use their new service. I have also witnessed the same prob and i tried the above no which worked.

Airtel should not have deactivated this service, but should have done more publicity on the new service. Thats also good
