Myself and my husband took two lifetime free prepaid connection of your airtel from Vasai and the numbers were [protected] and [protected] two/three years back.About a week back my telephone number [protected] stopped showing any network etc. Yesterday, I went to your Vasai Relationship centre to check up on this disconnection. To my surprise they informed that the number has been cancelled. I asked them the reason and they told me that I was supposed to submit documents. I informed them that I had submitted the documents at the time of taking prepaid connection and even if I had to submit the documents, there should have been some communication to me in this regard before stopping the services. They had no answer to this. However, instead of arguing, I offered to submit the papers and asked them to reconnect the service as I had just before the disconnection of the service had charged the phone with Rs.275/-. They said that nothing can be done and the connection and number is gone. If I want I should take a new number by submitting the papers.
Myself and my husband took the connections at the same time on the same date. There was no message to him forsubmission of the papers and the number continues working. It is really shocking that you have chosen to disconnect the network service though it is life time and I have submitted the papers at that time. Further I did not get any intimation form you for submission of the papers relating to my bonafide address etc. How is it that you have discontinuing a service without communicating to me especially when I have been using the network regularly and have been recharging. How is it that you follow different yardstick for two numbers which have been taken from the same place on the same date and same time and have the corresponding numbers, [protected] and 5521. By your disconnection I had to undergo lot of stress and mental tension in addition to loss of the lifetime fee and the recharge of Rs.275/- which I have not even used.
I would request you to look into the matter and restore the above cell number and network immediately under advise to me.
