Airtel — sim card invalid/lock

today as per instruction of customer care officer of airtel gallery at fort mumbai 1 i refilled rs 275 in to my mobile no [protected].but to my surprise the officer at airtel gallery at mulund west near railway station where I went to confrim whether the amount I had refilled was acutally transfered to my account or otherwise told me that the said no has been transfered /alloted to other person and to forget the amount which you have refilled even if the connection is of life time category this is very bad for the reputation of company like BHARATI AIRTEL i would like to know how the said no was alloted to other person also The company should refund the amount I have deposited at their fort Mumbai gallery without fail

    Hi,

    I had applied for conversion of Airtel's pre paid card to post paid card. Along with the form I gave all the required document with 100 Rs. as a conversion charge on 22nd September 07.

    But till today( 15 Oct 07) there is no response from their side. Even when I was tried to call/ meet them I was not got any positive response.

    Through this forum I would like to say that these kind of companies are only targeting to build their customer size rather then to maintaing the satisfied customer base.

    Ihave a problem related to MCA services.I talked with custmorcare regarding the same but yet i have not getting any fruitful response.Every after 15 days the same problems has repeated on my number.Every time they reset my number and atlaest 15 days there is no any problem repeated on my number regarding the same.But after 15-20 days again the same problem repaeted.Please give me a positive response regarding the same.

    I need your assistance for an ongoing issue with an Airtel Connection, which I
    applied 3 weeks ago & I am still waiting for a resolution.

    I had submitted my documents along with Mr Venkatesh [protected] who conviently
    does not answer my no. but answers calls if I call from a different no. He says
    it is an airtel issue & has not taken the documents home to give me any quick
    turn around. He also gave my his managers no Deepak [protected] who does not
    bother to answer calls.

    I reached out to your Banerghatta office [protected] who says you need to speak
    to the technical department & informed call one Mr Lokesh [protected], Mr Lokesh
    informed no its the sales person who needs to reach out to him & not the end
    customer.
    I have tried calling your Airtel Customer Care & they informed they can do
    nothing but take complaint I have two complaints registered one of which is
    1804026 they also gave me a nodal no +91 [protected] who agains says he cannot
    help & gave me another no [protected]. Which is absoluetly useless untill your
    an existing customer.

    I have given up & have bought a Tata Photon as I need to work from home, my
    request would be if you can help me refund my cheque paid on 30th July as I
    would not want to get into a service provider who treats there customers as bad
    as this.

      When my number is not reachable area, instead of saying "This number not in reachable area", it is saying Incorrect recorded voice like "This number does not exist, Please check the number".

      Even i given complaint to Airtel, but till now im facing the same problem and they are saying this may be due to sim error. This is happening only in one area (i.e; my office area), than how come it will be sim error?

      Please suggest me what should i have to take steps to punish Airtel service?

        Sir/Madam,

        I undersigned, a r/o HNo.16/497-I, ST.No.14, Bapa Nagar, Military Road, Karol Bagh, NewDelhi-110005, intends to install an Airtel landline/broadband connection at my residence. I approached for the same, in the Pusa Road branch of the company and I was told by the Executive that though there is availability of the connection in the area, but the connection can not be installed at my residence. However, no reason was divulged for the same. Similarly, following my request on date (October 12) lodged vide no. 715756, a SMS containing the inability of the company to provide the same was also received. Again, no reason for not providing the connection was indicated.

        2. Later, it has been observed that an Airtel landline connection (No. No.[protected] is already in existence in vicinity of my house. As such, it is presumed that the undersigned has been singled out.

        3. It is therefore, requested to reconsider my request for Airtel landline/broadband connection at my residence at the earliest, so that may relation with your esteemed company may continue for ever. It is assured that I will help your to obtain more Airtel connections I the vicinity of my residence, if I am provided with the connection.

        I have been charged twice as advance rental under two different bill plans for the same period e.g. Rs. 999 were included in the bill for the period 05.02.08 to 04.03.08 and Rs.998 were included in the bill for the period 05.03.08 to 04.04.2008. Both payments were made under protest as advised by your customer care executive so that the number is not dis-connected.

        Kindly look into the matter and REFUND the amount by correcting my next bill amount.

        Refering to Airtel i wanted to state my name is Niraj Kumar i live in Bhandup(West), Mumbai .The mobile which i am using is[protected] .I have faced a wrong ISD phone bill in the month of November . One fine day on 17-oct i received a SMS that your ISD is activated .then in the Next billing Cycle i received a bill stating that you have called a particular US number for 1 hours and 50 mins and you to pay for that .

        I had got my mobile recharged with Rs 555 from Mukesh Communication(78B, Paddmapukur Road, Kolkata-700020) on 14th of January, 2009 around 6 or 6.30 pm.When I gave the amount to him he had carefully checked all the notes(currency).I had even got the full amount(Rs 555) creditted to my account. But Yesterday[protected] I received the call from (mukesh communication) saying that the Rs 500 note was fake.Within few minutes after the talk it was found that the amount had been debitted from my account.After which I talked to the vendor(mukesh communication) but he is not cooperating with me.I had talked to airtel customer care about this matter to which they are saying that they(airtel) cant do anything about this, its the matter between vendor and the customer.It was even told to me that the vendor has the right to roll back the amount once crediited.When I had a talk with consumer court about this whole matter and roll back system.They had given me the information that the rights of vendor to roll back the amount is totally inappropriate and they had no information about this sysem.So, they had asked me to write a letter to the airtel nodal officer about the whole matter.He said that I am at fault and nothing can be done in this regard by him.

        I am writing on behalf of my relative Mr. Jeyaraman (who has CCd in the mail), who has applied for a airtel connection along with broad band with SEF No : CH 853589, and the connection was requested on May 07 2009. He was in talk with an executive name Moorthi with No [protected]. We did not get any further response back either from the executive/airtel center at adyar (where he has given the application).

        When I check call center and spoke to Mr. Sivakumar on July 07'th 2009 he said there is no application associated with this SEF #, and asked me to get in touch with the mail id.

        Pl respond back immediately, taking this as a compliant and return the amount back.

        He has already paid 1000 rs while sumbitting the application form. His contact number is - [protected]

        Hi, my name is Subrat Kumar, i am having a net connection along with an airtel no. I am really frustrated with the worst service of Airtel customer service dept. I got a call from one the representative Mr. Ravi who told me that i have to pay 1000/- Rs. and my account would be settled. He has given me his cell no and told me that i can call him any tme when i would be needed. he also promissed me that afte paying this money my connection would be reactivate. which is not working from last 2 months. When i called Mr. Ravi and informed him about this issue he replied my "I am not an IT person". Such a nonsence. Now the days i am getting call from Airtel to pay my rest money which must be written off according to the statement i was given by Mr. Ravi.

        After facing all this pathetic experience i have committed that never ever go for Airtel. where people does not know how to treat with a customer.

        i would really appreciate If someone can do something about this.

Evenafter after many visits to your above office and meeting to your employe Mr Sachin neither connection nor my money has been refunded till date.Now i have been intimated by your above official that my money will be refunded wihin two weeks, as the address proof submited by me is not acceptable. i am very much surprised to know that the address proof given by such a senior class I officer of central goverment as per your POLICY is not acceptable by your office. i think it is only due to lack of knowldge of concerned officials or non rasing of the issue at appropriate level.i believe such type of non co operation & business intrest shown by such a reputed institution is not desirable

        Total cost of calls SMS approx 120 Rupees

        I have always subscribed to Mobile office for the last 6 months and never cancelled it

        Suddenly the customer service rep told me that airtel live has used all your funds balance Rs 4 on Dec 20th

        I cross checked in Bandra Store near station but they say Airtel live settings not done and you are configured with Mobile office plan as always

        Please help me I need the refund or I will be forced to complaint further

        Sub-Grievance, regarding undue charges/pesky calls.
        Sir/Madam,
        I am an Airtel(Delhi) user, for last 7 years.
        Earlier I was using post paid connection, 2 years back I made converted my connection to prepaid.

        1. I receieve junk/pesky calls/sms regarding some policy/insurance/flat selling for last 2-3 years, , (Please stop such undue calls on my number)
        2.I called some pf my contact, though he did not pick up, but 50 paise was charged twice.
        3.I used my airtel no. to speak to customer care. But surprise came to me, as voice was announcing that this will be charged by 50p/min.Though this too was disconnected in mid by customer care executive, charged 50p again.(Earlier it used to be free of cost to communicate with home network).

          I HAVE USED AIRTEL JUST FOR A MONTH & TO MY UTTER SURPRISE, WHEN I GET TO SECURITY SETTING >> CHANGE ACCESS CODE >> PIN2 IT SAYS "PIN2 CODE BLOCKED", WHEN I E-MAILED & CALLED CUSTOMER CARE, THEY SAID "THERE IS NO PUK2 CODE OF AIRTEL, THEIR IS NO EFFECT OF PIN CODE BLOCKED" & YES I CAN CALL & EVEN RECIEVE CALL, I JUST HAVE FAILED, JUST SEEING FOR SOME HELP.

          AIRTEL MOBILE POSTPAID CONNECTION — The most inefficient customer service

          I have an airtel ISD roaming postpaid connection. This usually works seamlessly except for the last few days in my domestic travels I have been unable to make international calls.
          I call up 121 while facing this problem in Hyderabad.
          I get told please use std facility we cant help you here in the AP customer care.
          I dial the STD +91 [protected] given to me.
          I get connected to Mr. Varun Sharma working under Mr. Anshuman Sharma (I insisted on speaking to the supervisor I wasn’t connected and this was the name given)
          He tells me ISD is activated he can only reset it. Then he tells me I should not be so callous I should check with Airtel before traveling if I have the service.
          I find this suggestion highly objectionable and in fact humiliating. I have been an Airtel customer for 9 years and have had ISD facility on my phone for the last 5 years. I have so far paid over 5 Lacs to Airtel in ISD roaming charges. I depend on this service to carry out my business. I cant imagine calling up customer care every time I plan to leave Delhi to check if I have all my services intact.
          I make an STD call to Delhi which I shouldn’t have to.
          I get told I have done something wrong in not checking with the customer care about the status of my services.
          I still then after all this have to go out to an ISD booth to make my work calls.
          This is the worst Airtel experience ever.

          AIRTEL MOBILE POSTPAID CONNECTION — irrespective behaviour of ur representatives

          UR CUSTOMER CARE CENTER AT MALAKPET ARE NOT GIVING PROPER RESPONSE AND THE MANAGER IS TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE PERSON AND HE HAS NO MANNERS. THIS IS NOT FIRST TIME WE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH HIM. WE ASKED ATLEAST HIS NAME AND MOBILE NO BUT HE DIDNT GIVE IT. EVENTHOUGH WE COULD NOT LODGED COMPLAINT AGAINST HIM.WE REQUEST U TO GIVE CERTAIN INSTRUCTIONS TO HIM TO DEAL WITH OLD AIRTEL CUSTOMERS PROPERLY. IF WILL NOT INITIATE THE SAME ALONG WITH ME AND OTHER CUSTOMERS (NEARLY 42 MEMBERS) OF AIRTEL THOSE WHO ARE MY FRIENDS ARE GOING TO WITHDRAW UR SERVICES.

          I entirely agree with the complainant and the callous attitude of not only the Airtel's customer service executives but even their accounts department staff who are unable to appreciate the genuine problems of the customs and making amends to their avoidable mistakes, but choose to dispute all the arguments/genuine claims of the customers. I think this is because Airtel has a huge customer base and feels a damn about individual customer's problem/inconvenience.
          However, the time has now come that any/every customer with walk out with the help of MNP with a message that the customer is no longer dependent on the whims and fancies of service providers not mending their ways !!!

Rs. 100/- per month upto 6th of every month on that I got Rs. 89/- balance for others and get Rs. 83/- for Airtel to Airtel free talk time. Others & A-to-A balance talktime should carried forwfard every month. This scheme is for 2 years.

                      Now the problem is that every month I recharge with Rs. 100/- before 6th of the month but got A-to-A free balance on after making so many complints every month, even last month my A-to-A free balance also vanished. This month also till date (12th Oct.) they have not credited my free A-to-A talktime.

                        We have Migrated a 4Years EXISTING Number -[protected] from Prepaid to Postpaid on[protected].The Said Connection Was Working Till[protected] and Without Prior intimation/Notice The Connection was De-Activated on[protected]:30am.

                        Regarding this we Gave Complaint in Chetpet Airtel Showroom on[protected]:30Am to Mr.Karthik the Service Request #[protected].We Where Said that
                        Re-Verification will be Done & Connection will be Activated with-in Three
                        working Days.But Not Done.

                        Then i was Requested on[protected] to Submit a Letter Stating That the Bill Will Be Paid By Nithya Mobiles to Same Chetpet Showroom.We Have Submitted the Letter on the Same Day.

                        And the Next Day[protected]the Letter Was Returned to us By Chetput Airtel(Karthik,Savitha&Jagan) Stating That Airtel's Risky Dept. is Not Accepting the Letter.But on the Same Day When we Spoke to CustomerCare:121 to Mr.Uday, asked to Submit the same Letter&Pay the Bill amount at Reech Airtel Anna Nagar we did the Same.The Same issue was taken to Airtel's Nodal-Officer on[protected]:00Pm.

                        The Connection was Re-Activated on[protected]:30Pm and Again De-Activated on 6:Am[protected] without any Reasons Notice/intimation Via SMS/Call.

                        On[protected] a mail[protected]is sent to us Requesting us to Transfer the Connection -[protected] to Personal Name.

                        This is Fooling us & Affecting our Business as well as Our Public image also Wasting our Precious TIME,ENERGY & MONEY to Walk-in Daily to your Offices & Showrooms Against your Day to Day False/Changing Statements & Requests on a Single issue.

                        The whole Responsibility lies on Airtel & as well as The CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER for what disgusting Service has been given.

                        Once again we Confirm the Payment Responsibility will be Bared by us,So Kindly We request You To Take immediate Action on this issue & Activate Number-[protected].

                            I feel very regretting for Airtel who has got a very poor customer service. I had purchased a no. [protected] on 21st February 2008, which has been barred due to address and identity verification. I had rapidity submitted all the documents at your airtel outlets in Daryaganj and Laxmi Nagar. I failed to understand why my phone is barred neither I can receive calls or make calls. If the number is not revived within 12 hrs of my complain, I will take the matter to the consumer court and will not fail to sue for the losses that I have incurred due to the phone and as well as for the harassment caused.                               Sir I am a regular customer of Airtel from apr 2005 and using internet services & telephone.
                              The Airtel Has been stoped my services after 9/10/2007. in this connection i complained to customer care then they check my status and give a 2-3 hrs time to connect my services. I again after 3-4 hrs contact to customer care then they repeat the same in 3 times in a day. I am very glad and distrub mentally & financially from last four days. I have the total business of internet & telephone so please help me and to solve this problems as early as possible. Now I am lossing Rs. 10000/- per day due to this problems. If this will not solved then my mental problems will be increase.

                                  I am an Airtel Jharkhand subscriber for around a year, i live in Dhanbad, Airtel is cheating indians in many ways, Their GPRS service is worst here, the speed never goes more than 4kBps and most of the days it stays below 1kBps, also sometimes i get no GPRS signal for 10-12 days, on calling customer care they do nothing but sends enormous settings SMSs, even if my GPRS is working in local circle, its not working during roaming in West Bengal, even if i have sufficient balance and good network condition, but i have to pay the subscription charges every month, i called customer care but they said you can use GPRS in roaming, its a network problem, (but the local customers of west bengal were using GPRS without any problem), the problem continued up to 6 months, i again called customer care, they took a complain but i got no result in next two months, and now they have barred my calls to customer care, on calling customer care an IVR reply comes saying to send complains via SMS, i have send many sms but got no results, They did not recieves sms with more than 130 letters, but on sending a complain they replies, please tell your problem in details, and now even my SMS is barred. If this continues i am swithiching to another operator.

                                  I’m being really sick of Airtel GPRS service and their Customer Care. Yes I got the Life time connection with the facility of GPRS. in the month of July . I’ve a live time connection and got the gprs facility as per their scheme 498/- per month for access cyber world with my home pc through my cell . First three months it works nicely and then it started nagged . I ‘m fade up for trying your customer care service They never ever picked up my call whenever in the name of contract to our customer care executive (?) . All time always incest a monotonous computer voice “ write down ur quarry as a sms mode with 130 words and send it 121 “
                                  Why? Isn’t not enough to make a man insulted? Yes every time. Some times a make a communication as like choosing ENGISH langue and this things not from local care service and only for English language chooser.

                                  1 for English /press the key then have to wait for finish airtel’s new scheme new facilities etc their self ad. Then press 4 as per ur command Value added service then press 3 then press 4 and finally your technical advisor receive the phone same question with same ans

If I write MO and send it 2567 – This service currently not available on your mobile . I’m using nokia 6600 but as a confusion several time I change my hand set for experiment if mine would be corrupt or temporary defective other probs , I formatted my cell . setting as like as a factory restore default . BUT ALL R EQUAL . And as per their sms response

Sorry to say but blocking number for costumer care is extremely cheep. Please if any buddy has any answer of my question/complain please reply me or mail me.
