Airtel executives misguides customera about the GPRS option. Monthly 99. the customer executives and airtel sales people will say that you can access any wap sites using this connection. But they will not tell you that if you access any sites other than Airtel Wap you will be charged extra. Besides that it also does not allow you to access your IMAP or POP emails using built in email clients in phone like Nokia or any other hadnsets.
for accessing your IMAP or POP email you need Vodaone Mobile Connect or Airtel Mobile Office. Vodafone charges 149/month where as Airtel charges 149/week
compare that to the basic GPRS that does not give any useful service to corporaate users Vodafone charges 49/month and Airtel charges 99/month
Both of them cheates, I am going back to Vodafone connection on the second day of taking my Airtel CUG connection. For which I also had to pay Rs/300 . They told me that is for makign online payements
For those lucky one who have subscribed to GPRS from Airtel or Vodafone before 2008, you can still access your IMAP emails through Vodafone Live or Airtel Live
Thanks to the nonsense IT system both these companies have including their online payment sites, (using Oracle billing software). they not only cheat, but prrovide the wost possible services.
I will make sure every one in my organization switch from Airtel and Vodafone to any other service provider. It was my mistake I supported Airtel in offering CUG plans for my company. Was this information helpful? |
Airtel — false information for GPRS Service
sir,This is to inform you for your kind co-operation that i am Arun Kumar Kabasi having an airtel connection, Phone No. [protected]. i have recharged Rs. 999/- on 16 Nov 2008 for the purpose of 60 days access unlimited internet on phone & PC service. vide Tranjection ID[protected] on 16 Nov 2008 at 09:50. I asked customer care on 14 Dec 2008 for conformation of my unlimited internet on phone & PC service. Customer care has given the conformation report that i will get the same service till 15 Jan 2009. But On 19 Dec 2008 my service has been deactivated. The complain has been raised to customer care. But customer care informed me that my unlimited internet on phone & PC service was activated for 01 month. Now tell me how we believe customer care. Not only that after that my customer care service has been deleted till now.
Again showing the massage i have recharged Rs. 999/- for 02 month for unlimited internet on phone & PC service vide tranjection id[protected] on 27 Dec 2008 at 09:28 am. But till i am unable to know that i will get facility for 2 month or not due to inactive of castomer care service.

A) PLEASE BE INCLUDED PREVIOUS BALANCE DAY WITH NEW RECHARGE.
A) PROVIDE UNLIMITED CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE FOR ALL CUSTOMER.
B) PROVIDE ADVANCE PROFATIONAL TRAINING FOR CUSTOMER CARE STUFF BECAUSE STILL THEY ARE BELOW THE STANDARD LEVEL COMPARE TO OTHER SERVICE.
