I had been a customer of airtel broadband for almost 3 years.
First I would like to tell you the history that made me get my 3 years old connection disconnected.
My connection was not working so I filed a complaint by calling airtel customer care. Instead of repeated calling, there was no response till like 10 days. Then i was so frustrated that I filed a request for disconnection. It was after this that I started getting frequent calls from the customer care so I decided to retain my connection and some body visited and connection was working again.
Then in July 2012 I went out of India for two months due to which I could not pay my bill and my connection was disconnected.
i came back in september.
On 7th sep I cleared all my dues and requested to restart my connection.Customer care told me it will start within two days
Till 11th sepetember my connection was not not working.I gave many calls to customer care but no one visited.
Finally frustrated again I filed for disconnection on 21st september clearly mentioning the reason. since then I am repeatedly getting phone calls, every time they ask me the reason for getting it disconnected.
Now they have generated a bill for me dated 24th sep to 13th october and they call me daily asking me to pay it.
Now I wonder for what thing should I pay. I cleared all my dues till 7th sepetmber. since then the connection never worked even for a single day.
If this is how customer care keeps harassing the consumers then permanent customers like me have no option but to turn to other options.
