Airtel — Wrong information by airtel and complaint lodged without any solution
Dear Sir,I, Bodhisattwa Ghosh dastidar am a legal practitioner by profession applied for a airtel post-paid connection after being approached by the agents of the company informing me about the scheme that i took calling me from nos.[protected], [protected] and [protected] and said that my i will have to pay Rs.300/- as the charge for connection and also I will get a number of my own choice. Thereby an agent holding the mobile phone no.[protected] came to my office and took the photocopy of my Voter's ID as my photoidentity (since my voter's id card shows address of my previous address) and photocopy of my bank pass book as my residential proof and handed over a sim to me in lieu of Rs. 300/- and said that the connection will be activated within 10pm that at night and promised me to give a number which ends with 47 since I am superstitious and that was my choice and the agent wrote it on the application form the no of my choice. But for the next 2 days the connection did not activated when I got call from one of the abovesaid landline nos that the document will not suffice and that i will have to provide them my photocopy of my SBI card statement immediately that day at around 5pm and the agent was suppossed to collect it from me. But this time the agent did not turn up.when enquired over phone to that agent over phone, the agent said that the supervisor called me by mistake and that the agent himself has put my file in the system and the connection will be activated by 3pm in the next day which did not.
After 3 days the said agent called me and came to my residence and collected the photocopy of the statement and after 4 days my connection got activated and I got the number [protected] and quite astonished to find that the number does not end with 47. The next day said agent called me and said that he has got nothing to do but if I take another connection this time I will get a number of my choice and a ticket of IPL and I refused. That day in the evening a tele-caller called me from one of the said landlines and said that the amount of Rs.300/- will be refunded to me by the next day but when I told her the detail and the way I was harassed She only replied that they have got only 5-6 connections left and that i will have to compromise with that number.. Then I received a call in my old No. i.e. [protected] from the company and to whom I have lodged complaint and they said that They will give the no. of my choice and they will call me again on 16.03.2010 for the feedback and they will take action against the wrong-doer. on the next date they de-activated my new number and called me on 16.03.2010 to tell me that I will have provide my documents again and that I will have to revive the number by going to the nearest Airtel outlet and again putting a complaint in writing or they will not entertain anything. When I said that I will bring it to the notice of the appropriate authority they lodged a complaint (no.[protected] and added that still then I will have to go to the nearest Airtel outl;et to help myself and then they will think about prviding me with the number of my choice.
Then the day before yesterday the said airtel agent called me to come to my residence to refund back the Rs.300/- and asked me to provide me with another set of documents which I have provided before along with a photo, for it was mandatory for the company to keep a record of the refund which I did not accepted and the said agent did not come today.
Thereby sir, I seek to draw your kind attention to solve this problem and punish this wrong-doers who not only provide wrong informations to the intended customers but also try to harrass them in every way to reach their monthly targets and also the agents of the company and company personnels who are to look after this cases but just sitting idle. I hope you will do the need ful as soon as possible since they are sending alerts on my phone ([protected]) that my bill of the new connection which is dead now is increasing day by day

Airtel — Wrong information passed & refuse to refund
Dear GodAirtel Customer Care has passed a wrong infromation on blackberry services by saying please recharge your account by 399 and your services will start by an hour . On recharging 399 Rs some other services got activated and not blackberry . When called back this people refuse to refund the money and refuse to help . ONE OF THE WOREST POSSIBLE SERVICES EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE SPAN IS “AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE “. On the other side when we call airtel which can be better defined as Come to experience ONE OF THE WOREST POSSIBLE SERVICES . Say please allow me to transfer your call and my team leader will assist you ( in hindi ) and the call remains on hold for the rest of your life and the best part of airtel is they love to charge you when they place your call on hold """ well i think people working within the company are Multi Billionaire """"please lend me some money Ha Ha this is just a joke .To all the GODFATHER & MOTHERS working within the company Please Please Please value for money ( it is my hard earned money ). Request to the company chairman please dont provide GUNS on this NEW YEAR to all these GODFATHER & MOTHERS they can go and shoooooot your Trustworthy customer who love you and believe in you .
My language may sound offensive but this is kind of dynamic pain I have under gone through. I hope you don’t do this to your other customer. I don’t expect any help from you guys but if any one person who has his own self dignity and understand my pain I go down on my knees and beg for a help and I am ready to pay for your mistake .

Airtel — Disconnection of my number without notice
This is regarding disconnections of my number-[protected] which i am using since 6 years back. I faced a lot of problem because of sudden disconnection of my number when i was in out of state - Kerala. For two days till come Hyderabad and take another Sim. I lost communication with my family and friends even i do not find public telephone booths while i was heading to Hyderabad.When i met people in Begumpet office they said i am not using that number and became free number i.e for recycle but the fact i am recharging on an average Rs.300 to 400 hundred per month or more when i want balance to talk.
Who will restore this loss and i am using applications for job applications. If they really have right to disconnect number why should not have given intimation and message in advance so that i see for alternative.
It is really undigestible. Airtel has to give answer to this.

Airtel — phone line disconnect without any notice
my airtel number [protected] disconnected without any noticebecause of that i am facing many trouble
i am using that cionnection from last four yrs.
give me suggestion what to do next
