We had requested Airtel on March 4, 2010 to cancel 2 out of the three lines we have under one Account

I have received my bill for the Month of march, dated Apr 04, 2010 for the period from Mar 02, 2010 to Apr 01, 2010, and could figure out that my request/ directions were not adhered to.

I therefore called their customer service department and spoke to Piyush. He told me that the request was received on Mar, 13, 2010 (whereas it was received on March 04, 2010), but the lines have still not been cancelled. Apparently, there was a retention call made, and someone at our office, as claimed by them now, and we had agreed to continue the service. This is totally incorrect and untrue. I Kunal Mehra, am the only one handling this office, and it is my mobile number that you have on the records for any correspondence. On hearing this preposterous lie, I asked that I get a Supervisor on the line.

I have just spoken to someone who is supposedly a Supervisor at the Airtel call centre, called Danish Siddiqui. This bloke did not at best have adequate English Speaking Skills to be on the phone leave alone become a Supervisor. I have no intentions to point out the ineffeciencies in their system or to tell Airtel how to recruit, but I am concerned about the service I have been provided. In whatever broken English I could fathom, I learnt that this guy had neither any intention nor did he have any capability to help me out, and simply was taught to tell the customers to write another e-mail to follow up.

If you want your cutomers to send you a mail for every follow up on a written request, your company too should have sent me an e-mail stating that you guys have managed to speak to us and retained the numbers, and thus have put a closure on the so generated request number for the intial request for the cancellation of two of the three landline numbers. It only goes to show how much of time is valued in Mr.Mittal's company.

Well the Bottom-line is, WE ARE NOT GOING TO PAY THE RENTAL FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH FOR THE TWO CONCERNED LINES AS THERE WAS NO RETENTION CALL

I will be forced to forward this complaint to the DoT, and the TRAI if this is not looked into and resolved in the next 7 business days. I will also be willing to send a copy of this to a well known daily national news paper, and of course have my lawyers take up in the consumer courts.

Airtel Landline services — Denial of Service - Airtel

Since 11th of Feb, 2008, I have a phone with no dial tone. Incoming calls, the phone rings, but there is no voice. The DSL works fine. The complaint number is 9413433. Whenever I call up customer care, they say that there is digging near Belandur and thus the cable is cut. This according to me is false information since without the loop being complete, the switch would not generate ring voltage. The DSL would not work either. Now Airtel is not willing to resolve the issue. Can somebody help me sue Airtel for denial of services though I have been a long time customer paying my bills on time.

    I got a Post Paid SIM (SIM No [protected]) for data card from Indira Nagar Airtel Relationship Centre, Bangalore yesterday. The staff told me that the SIM will be activated today (16/04/2010) by 11:00 AM. Since, it was not activated, I contacted the customer care (both [protected] / [protected]). They told me that the number is not yet registered and asked me to wait for some more time.

    I tried to contact the concerned Airtel Relationship Centre[protected], which was given by their staff yesterday for any query. The again told me that the number will be activated by 1:00 PM. That was also just for an eye wash.

    Again I contacted them in the afternoon. However, when I contacted, the staff told me that he is dealing with only Blackberry and denied to tell any information (even the alternate contact person then disconnected). I tried to call several times after that, but they just lifted but did not speak at all.

    I never expected that the Airtel customer care would do this, since it has a good name in the country. So far there was no solution.

    These people speak so nicely when we go for get new services (Upto getting money). But after payment, they never do as they assured. I requested the customer complaints forum to publish this and take necessary actions, if possible.

    I bought Airtel datacard 4 days ago still not activated and I am disappointed to think about when it will be activated.
    I dial to 121 by another cell no. and they all time all guy say to dial 7070 . When i dial 7070 by my prepaid connection of airtel got recorded message this number is not valid.

    Also the guy who are provided the datacard they are not picking the phone.

    Now I am not getting what should i do. After One day I have to go outdoor from delhi to bihar but Still datacard is not activated.

      Dear Sir / Madam,

      Myself Gautam Nirmal, an MBA, residing and working in Dubai at present.

      I am holding Airtel no. +[protected] currently on international roaming in Dubai.Though i have not received any calls, Airtel charges me 100 Rs per minute mentioning incoming calls and so far it has deducted INR 500 from my account on this.

      Further when i requested Airtel to provide me details of incoming call numbars, it has given two numbars as below.

      Out of which the first numbar is not registered and another numbar is not in service. It is widely accepted and known fact that a person can not receive calls from the numbar which are not registered and not in the service.

      May i please request your esteemed organization to investigate and reach to the truth in order to brake cellular companies to charge unnecessarily from general public.

      I trust i shall get optimum justice following your investigation.

      Airtel — Int roaming, incoming

      Hi, I have been a regular customer of airtel and had activated my int roaming after confirming from the airtel rep.(don't have the name) and the site airtel.in. The reps at irtel do not have any info on the int. roaming charges and nor do they know that their site does not give any info on te int. roaming incoming charges. After going through all of this when i call the airtel customer service, the voice recordin tells me that my unbilled amount is 14300 till the 13th of may. This is not done. I have payed all my bills in time and have had huge bill amounts in the past but this is too much. I also called the T-mobile customer care and they said that the incoming is free from their side and that i should check with airtel... but it was completely useless. Please help... I do not know what do or whome to talk to because no one seems to give me the right information and then will sit on my head for the bill.

      Airtel — Reduced call rates not functioning in roaming presently

      Dear Sir,

      I'm ur airtel-chennai prepaid mobile customer. My mobile no.- [protected]. Most of my time i.e 95% time i'm in roaming. I've activated ur reduced call rates for roaming in 12-16 dec'09.During these days i've been to other states where i was enjoying with the reduced roaming rates till 23rd of jan'09; but i'm unable to enjoy the same. presently i'm in karnataka. Now i've make outgoing/incomming calls for 1.50/1.00 Rs./min.In earliar mail i've forgotten to mention my mobile no. sorry for that inconvience.

      Please do the needful at the earliest as most of the time i'm in roaming

      Incoming is not free.

      I have an airtel number which I use in US and some Euroean countries while travelling from India to US. Outgoing calls are Rs150 per min and incoming is Rs75 per min. If you send an sms, it will cost Rs25 per page, i.e., 160 characters. The only thing that is free is incoming sms. So, my advice is: don't use your phone for making or receiving calls, any call at all.

          I went in for a post paid to pre-paid conversion of my airtel number through the Airtel Relationship centre located at SV Road, Borivali (West) in Mumbai. I was made to go there 9 times to get the work done with utter negligence on the part of the executives sitting in that office simply saying that it is not possible to be done today, etc. sort of statments on a number of occasions when I went there. When it was finally done by giving the amount required to do so, I asked the executives that please check the forms for completeness so that I don't have to come once more begging for your services. My fear turned true when my services were blocked by Airtel without any warning call stating (through an SMS) that the pre-paid enrollment form hasn't been submitted. Without submitting the form, Iam sure my pre-paid services wouldn't have been activated. Though I went to the centre again and they simply said that nothing can be done and I'll have to re-fill the form with all the documents to be attached. I went back home, fetched the required documants and filled the form as I needed the number to be activated. The services started after a day and then suddenly again it has stopped with no incoming and outgoing call facility, that too without any warning call or anyhting. Just an SMS again stating that as per Govt. norms we haven't recieved your pre-paid enrollment form and hence discontinuing your services. I've lost faith in airtel and just wanted to keep my number active so went there 11 times for the same.
          In this course of time, I've lost a number of very important business calls, taken leaves from my office at least 7 times for half a day to get my work done. So in all, I've lost several thousand Rupees to go and beg at Airtel's door to get my work done without any concern being shown by the Airtel Employees.
          Suggestions, what to be done, anybody?

          airtel pre-paid — In-efficient service

          I have taken the connection 99804550 in january and I was told that all the verifications will be done within 5 days.
          No verification was done and suddenly one day in feb my out going was barred without informing me.
          When I called customer care I was informed that my documents were not received. I told I have submitted the documents.
          Then after two days out going calls were activated. Now after 5 days I got a address verification call and I was asked when will I be present at that address. As I was out of station I told that I will be available after 8th of march. Next day my no. was barred.
          Then on enquirey I was told that the verification was negative so it was blocked and the same no. can not be activated again. Even they didn't refund my Rs.300 which was balance in that sim when it was blocked.

          Airtel — Unwanted subscription service

          Unwanted subscription service
          I have been charged Rs. 30/- after every 10 days saying that "You have been renewed for astro service from Airtel".

          Please stop these unwanted charges immediately as I do not know how this service is added to my mobile no. [protected]

          Airtel — stop my service without reason

          Hello sir my air tel no is[protected] working form last 3yrs but why r you stop my service last 16 days . you stop my services when i recharge 600ruppes dated 10/09/10. this month if you require any id or any other information plz give me reply at my e.mail id :- [protected]@ymail.com

          Airtel — UNWANTED SUBSCRIPTION OF PAID SERVICE

          I am an Airtel mobile connection holder(Mobile No. [protected]). This service provider is being very unfare to me. Earlier it gave me an unnecessarey subscription to a paid service(sap actresses) which was removed only after a complaint in one of the forum.Now they have given me a paid subscription of BOLLYWOOD BUZZ without my authorisation and are deducting regularly for the same.This is an underhand practice which is not fit for an esteemed organisation like AIRTEL.           AirTel — Paid Services

          I have been using Airtel,since 2 years(approximately).I used to get some alert SMSs on my mobile.Since I did not subscribed to any services, I believed it is some free service provided by Airtel.
          I was never bothered to confirm If it Paid service or Money is being deducted from my Account,AS IT WAS NOT REQUIRED, I DID NOT ACTIVATE ANYTHING, THEN WHY SHOULD I CHECK FOR THAT.Later,I realized balance is getting reduced unnecessarily. When I contacted Airtel,I got to know that, there are around 5 paid services activated on my number.Then I asked them how?Reply was , few are activated by myself (I was Surprised to hear that. Without me Sending a message/call , Airtel claims that I activated it).And they said, Few are through some links in Internet.Again, I did not activated it through Internet even. If a third party can do it from Internet, then WHAT IS THE SECURITY AIRTEL IS PROVIDING?

          That is the past story. I complained about this many times.Talked to senior desk twice.(Customer Care Representative connecting my call to Senior desk is another story to narrate - many time they keep me on hold indefinitely saying they are connecting to senior desk.Somehow, calling customer care three or four times repeatedly, every time I manage to speak to the Senior Desk).

          Last time, a lady from Customerr care assured me, she will refund all the amount deducted from my account and Will assure that, NO SERVICES WILL BE ACTIVATED WITHOUT MY CONFIRMATION.I was happy and relieved thinking that my time is saved and money is safe.


          IT WAS MY FAULT to believe AIRTEL'S assurance.
          within days, I got another alert of some film actress. I deleted the message without replying for activation.
          next day onwards, getting messages as if I am subscribed to it.

          (Note: for all the services activated by Airtel, it happened the same way.Day1 I get message -If you want to subscribe, reply. Day 2 onwards I get alerts as if I am subscribed. BASICALLY, YOU DO NOT AHVE TO DO ANYTHING FOR A VALUE ADDED MESSAGE SERVICE TO ACTIVATE IN YOUR MOBILE.IT WILL GET ACTIVATED BY ITSELF.FUNNY..???).

          I AM FRUSTRTAED AND IRRITATED USING AIRTEL, ONLY BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE.
          (LAST COMPLAINT REF NO: CPPWC[protected] ).

          TO SUMMARIZE:
          1) PAID SERVICES GETTIGN ACTIVATED ON MY MOBILE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE.
          2) I WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY IS DEDUCTED IN THE PAST 2 YEARS FOR THIS.
          3)EVERY CALL TO CUSTOMER CARE IS CHARGED.

          I WANT FUND BACK(AMOUNT DEDUCTED FOR ALL THE SERVICES EXCEPT BALAJI SERVICE WHICH ACTIVATED MYSELF,CALL CHARGED FOR CUSTOEMR CARE INTERACTION AND A DECENT COMPENSATION FOR WASTING MY TIME AND FOR TEH FRUSTRAION INCURRED DUE TO THIS).

            AirtelLive(AL) Bolly Subscription

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            In last 2 months I got a Message twice in my mobile as -
            ""you have been renewed for bolly subscription serviec from Airtel. you have been charged Rs 10.""

            I've not activated any Subscription services from Airtel, and there is Info available to deactivate it. please Deactivate it as soon as possible, because unnecessarily i have been paying 20 rs from last 2 months

            In last 2 weeks I am getting Messages and updates of football scores in my mobile, Today i have another update message in which they have charged RS:3 for todays match.

            I've not activated any Subscription services from Airtel, and there is no Info available to deactivate it. please Deactivate it as soon as possible, because i have not activated any football match package and i have been paying my money for no reason.

              My Airtel DTH subscription id is : [protected] which was activated on 21st March2010 for Ultra pack. At the time of receiving the package details, I was verbally as well as over email confirmed about a goodie bag free when I subscribe for this annual package on 15th March 2010. I paid for the same on 16th March 2010 online. Till date I have not received the goodie bag as promised. When I sent an email, i received a response on 29.03.2010 from Shail Shekhar Jha that I will receive a call shortly from their concerned department, which has not yet come. I called today, 16.4.2010 to their call centre. The phone was disconnected twice by a lady called Diana. The third time, when the call was ultimately received by another CRE Rekha(thats the name she disclosed when I demanded that I make a note of her name), she was extremely rude and informed that the offer was valid only for January and February 2010. When I tried to explain to her that I received the committment on 15th March 2010, how could she now say that the offer was till February 2010. Further, she refused to escalate the call to her team leader and while I was still speaking on this issue, she kept saying "Thank you for calling" and willingly disconnected the call.

              I tried to call the nodal officer of Airtel as mentioned in their website - Andhra Pradesh Priendu Narayan Chakraverty[protected] , but the number constantly came busy. To my surprise, when I tried most of the other numbers of various nodal officers of Airtel in the country, the mobile numbers mentioned - eg: Arunachal Pradesh Biddyut Bikash Goswami [protected] , Bihar Rana Biswas [protected] do not exist when dialled.

              I wish to pre warn all unsuspecting and prospective DTH customers to rethink before selecting Airtel DTH so that you dont face the same trouble and insults that I am currently being faced with despite being their customer for a very long time for Official CUG services of their mobile phone.

                dear sir,

                i have been enjoying the airtel services on my sony ericsson W810i bearing no. [protected] for couple of years. i am a lifetime prepaid customer using the nop service from the very beginning of my connexion.

                in the past i knew the above stated service was offered as unlimited. yes it was truly unlimited. my average data transfer per month through it was nearly 1gb.

                but recently airtel announced that its using fair use policy in the nop for the sake of everybody's benefit.unlike vodafone, there are no official shout about the data limit a customer can transfer per month.
                the only statement i read from the airtel desk is- the speed will be rationalized if a customer hits the data-transfer-limit.hence his/her data transfer rate will be adjusted/reduced till the end of that month so that all others can enjoy the service without any troubleshoot.

                but i think it would be better if you open the hidden box out of this policy chest,i.e, whats the maximum data transfer limit per month a customer can enjoy?

                sorry to inform you that none of my complaints is solved. 2 days ago i had been contacted by you from the following number:
                [protected]. but it they were interested only in my local number disconnectivity problem. there were no trace of queries on other problems lodged by me here.
                when counter-asked they avoided the questions.
                so my problems remained at the same state. and the confusing idiotic message comes continually in my number:

                This is to inform you that our team is working to resolve your complaint and we shall revert shortly regarding the same.

                if you failed to quench my relevant 'wh' questions then who will do?

                i am fade up with ur actions and interactions with me over the air. time and again you had contacted me yesterday from the same number stated above. you are just wasting my valuable times. i am seriously asking you - are you making time pass with me? cos still now none of my lodged complaints is solved! i still cant make calls to any of my known local numbers, such as [protected], [protected], [protected], and the like. but i can make call to the above local numbers from my reliance number [protected], with a single attempt.
                ur conversations over the air seemed to me ridiculous. cos whenever i wanted to know whats the downloading/surfing limit of nop in a month, you just answered that it is 1gb or 2gb( underline it consumer forum authority cos an airtel personnel answered it !). when asked again of the gprs nop you preferred me to contact 121, 12150 or [protected] which you have already blocked without any reason.
                for these types of reasons i would like to say i became an alien in my own country where everyday i am forced to abide by ur illegal laws and statements( still in the airtel site one can site Nop as unlimited but its actually limited with the introduction of Fair Usage Policy???)
                airtel plse do not contact me if you cant solve my problems. and consumer forum authority plse take this matter seriously.

                only the local call problem is solved. yes, after 3 months. but what about your recent activities? i had recharged with rs.104 to enjoy nop continually on 30.04.10 at 6.39 pm ( transaction id- [protected]). but till 07.05.10 you turned off the service(on my sister's number aswell) without any reason! is it a punishment for us for writing complaint here? if i wouldnt ring the bell by contacting your senior supervisor following your corrupted customer care service( i had to dial 121 which is invalid, 12118 which preferred me to call 121, [protected] which forced me to ring to 198 and finally when dialed 198 the c c executive extended the line to the senior supervisor due to his ignorance( he wished to puzzle me by telling that rs.104 was recharged by me but it was not meant for the nop serv.)then you simply digested my rs.104. or is it your clever attempt so that i can be disconnected and cant answer your reply here?

                in both cases you committed Crime. wistfully or not this is not the question. the question is your Responsibility which i cant see in you. however, there still remains questions on nop downloading/surfing limits that your [protected]@airtelindia.com cant provide. and last but not the least did you ever think for how long i couldnt make calls to my local and important calls? its more than 3 months. think about it. we pay and, therefore, we use every service. i wish to enjoy only the nop service.plse do not force me to enjoy airtel live or rs.98 service(whenever contacted you send airtel live or mobile office settings).

                  My relationship with Airtel is over 7 years now and I feel being cheated by them twice in last 6 months.

                  Today, I had an interaction with Supervisor Kishore and Escalations Manager Shiva to address my issue, both of them were saying that, 'we understand that it is a miss from our end and we are limited'. Here is my issue, Airtel sent an SMS stating that as Holi special offer, we are giving you 1 paise/second - any network plan for RC 6/- which is valid for one year. Before proceeding with the recharge, I called Airtel Helpline and the representative confirmed the same. Sadly, the offer last only for 45 days and now Airtel claims that it was linked to your last Value added recharge which expired yesterday and so this offer also expires.They are asking me to recharge with RC 27 to continue availing 1p/second offer.

                  My question to Airtel is why didn't you explain the same to me earlier and as you admit that it is a miss from your end, what is stopping you to give me what was promised??? It not a matter of me again doing a new recharge to continue availing this offer, I don't have any trust or faith in Airtel that it will deliver it's promise. Adding to it, the customer support experience was pathetic.

                  If any of the Airtel officials are reviewing it, please do explain the customer clearly about your promotions and offers rather than saying that we have an IVR which states it.

                  Airtel Prepaid — cheating of offer

                  Sir,
                  When I opted to port out from Airtel on 6 Jan, they offered me less call rate plan for continuing with them & told me to cancel port out to avail it . They promised to provide me this offer within 24 hrs. When I cancelled port out on 7 Jan, they blocked my call to their cusyomer care. When I contacted through another no. they told methat a complain has been registered & promised to provide offer by 13 Jan & told that I had called more than thrice in a day on their customer care which wasn't really & hence my call on this no. has been blocked. Today they gave me a missed call of Just 1-2 sec & instantaneously sent message that since I was not available for contact my complain has been resolved. When I tried to contact through online their complain section was disfunctional.Till now neither they have provided offer nof make my call on their customer care functional. Please help.

                    I have many corporate nos. From airtel and geting faulty billing in some nos. like cug charged by one rs per min. Rentel also charged double accordingly i complaint to airtel and also get responce call many times that problem will resolve witin 24hrs and one call inform me to resolve issue in 48 hrs further due to wrong billing i stoped payment for bills and now get call of Rahul from airtel and when i talked with ref. of bill no of wrong bills this fact also clear to airtel and he inform me that call me again on 8th of apr at 10.30 with proper solution but i not get call again as agreed. At total of this i get loss heavily as all nos. Are with marketing boys and all are disconnected by airtel even my complaint registered.

                    Airtel — Mobile connection postpaid discontinued yet billed

                    I had discontinued the services w r t the mobile no [protected] in February 2009 after visiting your city centre outlet personally in kolkata.

                    However find bills have continued to come in March and April also paid up erroneously by me. Subsequently on calling up the helpline 121 as instructed on the reverse of the bill on May 16 th I was told that no help could be given on this helpline and that i should dial [protected]. On dialling I was put on hold without even someone enquiring into my complaint for over 45 mins. I had to dial again and finally managed to contact with Suman at 6.10 p m and after hearing out he said that he did not know how i could get back my refund for the bills paid which were raised against me after submitting my request for discontinuance.However that he would resolve the issue by May 27 2009 11 hours.

                    I am still waiting for the same to be resolved and have been once again been billed for the same in June vide Bill no 51030906.

                    I see no resolution until I write to trai and am therefore forwarding this complaint to them.

                      I had submitted my payment of Rs 2024.00 on dated 01/04/2008 , through HDFC BAnk debit card at Airtel off in Kanchan Bagh , indore . My Receipt No is[protected] . My ph No is - [protected], According to the company official they received the payment on 07/04/2008 . Still they discontinued my services , stating I had not submitted my payment , Giving them proper clarification, even after that they discontinued my sevices from dt : 14/04/2010 , I was travelling and my family was not reacable to me for 17 hours till I returned back home . Severe misconduct from the comany's end giving immence discomfort and poor customer services.
                      I sincerluy wish to sue them for their rediculce behaviour and would like to show this through print media . Seeking support from the consumer forum to penalise them for the discomfort they had given to me .

                          I got a message from 58243 stating "you have been successfully autorenewed for Y!Zone ".
                          How can this take place without getting a confirmation from the user. Pl let me know the neccessary details of how can Airtel prepaid connection dictate the users.
                          This is 2nd complaint after my first on 20 Sept'09 without any relief:
                          I had recharged Rs.21 on 19 Sept'09 as per the offer--free100 local and 50 national SMS for a month.This offer was sent by you in my mobile [protected] on 14 Sept.Since 19 Sept till date I have sent 13 msgs(9 local and 4 national) and faced a deduction of Rs.13.50, which should otherwise be no deduction as per your contract.Also, after every deduction I find a mention of outstanding local SMS balance only and no mention of national balance.It shows I have been deprived of free national SMS service.This is a breach of contract by you.Please restore as per your contract dated 14.9.09 and oblige.I am an Airtel mob.suscriber for about 5 years.

                          They are not ready to accept tihere mistake. They are saying that I have activated the services and thats why they are charging for that.

                          On one hand they are saying its not there fault and on other hand they debited back my balance.

                          I am planning to go in consumer court now.

                            Bhati Airtel Limited — Airtel prepaid - recharge not as they said

                            Almost 6 times, including today, when ever i recharged Rs. 440=00, i got only 75% of the amount talk time, while Airtel customer care executive asks us to recharge for Rs. 440=00 for full talk time.

                            Monthly i am recharging for an amount of Rs.5000=00 appx. Every time i / our office boy go to recharge store, knowing the recharge value for full talk time is very big task and finally we get cheated.

                            Airtel — Non Receipt of Recharge Amount

                            Sir
                            I had recharge my mobile no. [protected] for Rs. 50 Through credit Card on dt. 28/02/2011but I have not received recharge amount till date. when I talk to my credit card service provider then he said that your payment has been debited in my account of Rs. 50/- any ref. no. is 696083. and when I talk to airtel for this recharge amount then I had not received any positive response till date.
                            Scondly I had activated DND with above number and I received a message from customer care that your DND has been activited from 1st March, but still I am receiving all messages and phone calls.
                            So, Please look into the both matter as early as possible.

                            Airtel — Non Receipt of credit of the recharge coupon

                            I had recharge my Airtel prepaid Connection with Rs.299 on 24th April’11 having Transaction I.D. as[protected]. The problem is that the amount is not updated into my regular a/c. I had talked to customer care and they said that try it with *123*5# number. I called and it says that your dedicated a/c balance is Rs.299 and expiry date is 1 month. I haven't opt for any dedicated a/c and never asked for any other a/c. Pls. look into the same & transfer the dedicated account balance to main account. Thanks

                                Individual Home User — Broadband Not Installed on Telephone

                                1. Refer my Customer Acct No. [protected] and telephone no.[protected].
                                2. I had registered vide Registration No. PLM13002941 dated 14 Oct 08 at Delhi Cantt for Tariff plan Tri B 250 and demand 50758981 vide application dated 15 Oct 08.
                                3. Complaint: Broadband internet has not been installed on above telephone for over more than a month now. MTNL officials need to urgently intervene to resolve and address the issue.

                                Airtel Broadband — Installation Not done and no reponse

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                This mail is to bring to your notice about the poor service provided by Airtel. I had applied the connection on 14/12/2009 and I was promised that the installation and connection process would complete within 2 Days. I had clearly informed that the connection is required for my official work and was also asked to provide the ID proof for the same. Since the application was submitted there was no response from anyone from Airtel. I was given the contact number for incase of any issue but nobody answered the call. Finally on 18/12/2009 I had called in the customer care make a complaint and I was informed that the connection cannot be provided for some reasons. Now I had asked to refund the installation charges of Rs 500/- and the dealer still never answered the call and there was no response from what so ever. Why was I not informed if the connection cannot be provided and why did it take almost a week just to know this and that too after make numerous calls to Dealers and Customer Care..? I have mentioned the details of the complaint and yet to receive a response/call for the same. I would like to know immediately about what is going on with it and need the refund as soon as possible.

                                Airtel Broadband — speed not coming

                                i have been using airtel broadband from the past few years using 512kbps speed unlimited but i never get the speed i hardly get it ..i dunt even get 256 //512 is too far and i used to opt for airtel speed on demand in the night hours after 10 for 2mbps but nevr got it complained for it on customer care they hardly say its 2 mps its normal .. and cut down the phone please take care of it ... i am not getting my speed 512 what i have 2 get ...the are scoundrels..... please look into the matter and now what i pay for 599 mothly that same plan is 2mbps they have not upgraded it .. and even the bill comes on date .. late fee is added before only on the bill before due date .. how come are airtel people adding late fee before hand only and sending ??? with the bill??? please look into the matter i will be highly obliged. my airtel landline number is [protected]. my personal number is [protected].                                 I have submitted document to Mr.Nagendra (Mob # [protected]) on 24th Jan 2013 Thursday, he assured me that installation will be done before 25th Jan 2013.
                                Till today Airtel didn’t installed the broadband and they are not replying when it can be installed.

                                On 25th Jan, I called Mr.Nagendra for the status, he told me that Broadband Vendor team will work on 26th Jan & Sunday and they will finish the work before Monday.

                                I opened the the office on 26th & 27th but no one visited from your side also I called for more than 20 times to Mr.Nagendra but he didn’t receive my call.

                                On Monday, I tried to contact Mr.Nagendra for more than 9-10 phone calls but didn’t receive my call.

                                On Tuesday, when tried calling for more than 20 times continuously, he receive the call and assure me that installation will reach my place with 30min. I told him if installation not by today EOD, I’ll complaint against you and your team with your CEO (Mr.Sanjeev Kapoor). He told me “Agar Sanjeev Kapoor se kaam karwana hai to ab un se hi karwa lo”

                                The worst part is that they are not responding on why there is a delay?

                                The sales person Mr.Nagendra used to contact me daily until I submitted the document to him but after that , the response is worst (never gave a call back)

                                Hello,

                                I had registered for a new broadband connection from airtel in the Electronic City area last month. One of your representatives came to my house on the 17th of April and collected Rs. 500 from me as enrollment fees (attached copy). They then informed me that they could not provide me with a connection and that my money will refunded before the end of April 2013. Then, last Tuesday (30th of April), I got a call from someone called Sekar (ph. [protected]) saying that the connection was available and that he had come to do the installation. I was travelling to Chennai then and I asked him to finish the installation and collect the money (for the wifi router) from me the next day. But he said that he can do the installation only if I paid him and that he'll come back on Thursday. I called him on Thursday morning and he confirmed that he'll come to my house at about 7 pm that day. But I waited for him till 9 pm and he never came and didnt answer my phone calls either. The same thing happened today as well and when asked when he will give me the connection, he said that he will not come for at least two more days.

                                This is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible behaviour from Airtel. I have lodged numerous complaints since the 17th of April and so far nothing has happened. The people at the customer care services dont have a clue as to what is happening and they actually disconnected my call after asking me to wait.

                                I understand that your company's services are in a lot of demand and that you dont really care about an individual problem like I have. If you cannot give me the connection, can you at least give me money back? What you have done to me over the past 3 weeks or so is nothing short of cheating.

                                I had sent a mail to the Nodal team a week ago and I still havent got the equipment and the installation has not been done yet. I had called the customer care and they informed me that the installation manager Manohar (Ph. [protected]) would call me and figure out when I will be comfortable to get the installation done. He never called me and after trying his number for almost 5 hours (why do your employees never answer calls??) I got through to him at 5.30 pm. I asked him if he could do the installation at 6.30 pm as I wouldnt reach home before that. He then asked one of his subordinates, Kiran (Ph. [protected]), to do the installation and he told me that he'll come to my house at 7.15 pm. I then waited for him to come to my house, but he never did. I repeatedly called his mobile, but he had switched it off and Manohar didnt answer my calls either. Kiran finally came to my house at 10 pm and then told me, arrogantly, that he didnt have the necessary equipment to do the installation.

                                Obviously, I still dont have a working broadband connection. This is appalling, considering the fact that I had paid for the connection almost a month ago. Is anything being done to inform your engineers on how to behave with the customers?

                                I am still having problems with Kiran. He came to my house at 9.30 pm yesterday and did the installation and showed us the broadband speed on his laptop using an ethernet cable. We then asked him to show us the broadband speed using the wifi network. But he told us that his laptop battery had suddenly drained and that he didnt have a battery charger with him. We told him that we can pay him only after verifying the speed on the wifi network after which he talked to us in a threatening manner and uninstalled everything and took the equipment with him.

                                This has been an extremely unpleasant experience for me and I have had enough of your company's services. Please cancel my enrollment and refund the money (Rs. 500) I had paid, as soon as possible.

                                    Hi

                                    I have taken Airtel DTH where everyday they are sending marketing message which I asked them to stop but they are saying you need to contact your mobile phone operator for stopping the SMS. When I became rigid they disconnect the phone. I want to bring this to your attention so that if you can do something or suggest me something then I will go for it. I want them to suffer for the pain they are giving. sometimes the SMS comes in the night time as well..

                                      I have subscribed for Blackberry Internet Service Plan 899, However the Service is not activated on my mobile number [protected]. It is now more than 2 days. The customer care initially committed 24 hours. But now the casual/lethargic reply is it will take 1 sec, 1 day or 10 days, they cannot commit. I also get a feedback saying that it is a PREPAID problem, and I can migrate to POSTPAID Service. Is this a tactic to make me commit? I am totally upset with the way the customer care people respond when I dial [protected]. Their Supervisor is one step ahead. He is well trained to handle woes like mine, i.e. by the time I clarify my point, he makes me get vexed and hang up the call. May be I have to escalate such issues with Sunil Mittal himself. Phew.

                                      I am informed by Airtel Customer Service Team that the airtel blackberry prepaid services are withdrawn. Why are you not informing the true position to the customers. Is it not wrong on your part to give wrong information to your customers.                                       i hv to say dat m using blackbery 9700.wid airtel conectin.nd i activated bb5 plan...wid 100rs wekly charges.n it dedcut frm ma a/c..n still my service is nt activated...n der is no positve response frm custermcare.so kindly luk fwd to it my cell no.[protected]
                                      On my Prepaid Airtel connection [protected] the Blackberry plan 299 is deactivated instead of the said amount being deducted from my balance on 5th September 10.Since last 7 days I had complained to Airtel on 121 as well Blackberry customer support no .[protected] (5 times) only with assurance of activating within 24 hours .(Last Complaint referecnce no.[protected] of Blackberry).Will the concerned authorities respond on this issue.
                                      I got Airtel Prepaid connection [protected], on my Blackberry 8520 Curve, and i requested to add internet services to my Blackberry. Its almost 9 days since, i am following up with all Blackberry Customer care. They all are giving awefull replies and are trying from last 8 days to activate intrenet setting to my phone.
                                      Its really waste of time and patience and spending money to call to these BB customer care, they are taking charge for the calling still they are not bothered or care to help someone... who is calling infact begging to activate the service...

                                      My complaint id is - [protected]... its logged 4 days back.

                                      We are paying the charges for calls. They all are misleading... and making false assurance..
                                      I am really fed-up up this service, , , , :(

                                      Today itself they managed to say your complaint is being forwarded to Higher Authorities and will be sort out soon

                                      ... is Mr. Sunil Mittal himself going to come and solve this ?

                                      Can anyone explain this... ?

                                        I have bought the airtel prepaid recharge card through ngpay ,i used the 16 digit pin no which i got, but it says card is invalid , I made several complaints to airtel customer care on the same day but none was responded.

                                        Hello Mr Vinay,

                                        I am also having same problem. I bought a recharge voucher worth rupees 30, bearing serial number [protected] in Jaipur and when I recharged my cell I received no balance in my account. This lack of professionalism is not expected from Company like Airtel. 30 rupees doesn't matter but this leads me to think that I have made a mistake by buying Airtel sim.

                                        Kindly with genuine attitude look in to such complaints if people come back to you.
