Here is my peculiar case with the Airtel Service Provider... I bought a mobile number ([protected]) for about four years back, and recently my aunt had lost my mobile along with that sim. I informed to Airtel Customer care to block my number and a week later i went to Airtel showroom in T.Nagar, Chennai (which is 90km from my home as no Airtel Relationship Centre near to my home) to get a duplicate SIM card, i filled an application and gave to them, as soon of waiting 5 minutes, a representative told that my proof doesn't matches to that number which i was using for 4 years. I was shocked and asked that how it could happen like that, but she didn't responded properly. And moreover she asked me to call customer care and confirm. I told to them that i was using it for 4 years and also i have submitted my proof two times when government ordered to submit the proof once again for security purpose. And there i spent more than an hour in explaining my problem, and finally they came up with giving me a S/R No. and a Nodal Officer number. And its time for me to return home so i thought i could call that Nodal Officer later, so i moved from there as i am getting late to catch my train to reach my town. When i called that Nodal Offier number, an autobot asked to keyin the S/R. No., as i entered the number, the sysyem replied that it was a wrong S/R. No like that. I totally fed up and i called once to airtel customer care and told all the A-Z problems for 4th time, and again that CSE gave another S/R. No. Once again i called to Nodal officer but same problem existed and i couldn't contact any Nodal Officers. And it was very disgusting. So i left calling Airtel CSE for a week. And again i tried after a week calling the customer care for 5th time from one of friend's Airtel number, as usual i told the A-Z problems from first. And again i got a S/R. No for the 3rd time. And this time also i couldn't connect to that Nodal Officer. And again i tried to call CSE, but i couldn't able to contact them and i was blocked to make calls to CSE. And no further calls ii can call to Airtel Customer care. And again today i called from my office colleague airtel mobile to the CSE. AS again same problem existed, and i tried to call the Nodal Officer with the provided S/R. No, i cant connect to them as usual. So i tried again to them, but they blocked his number too as before.
Really i cant find what is the meaning of CUSTOMER CARE according to AIRTEL. Really i was vexed with this type of LOW LEVEL of service from them. They blocked numbers from calling to customer care too. Please find me a solution regarding my problem. I want my old number back which i was using for long time. Please clear my problem... Its the number i want back please. I was using it for 4 years and also i have submitted my proof two times when government ordered to submit the proof once again for security purpose. But even though they are telling its not in my proof... NEED BACK MY NUMBER PLEASE...
