[Resolved]  Amma Home Nursing and Placement Service — Duping and Harassment

Dear Sir, My name is Neenu Rajesh. I am residing in Navi mumbai. We were in Cochin and got recently transferred to mumbai. We had taken a person to help with the house work from the above agency when we were in Cochin and we had that person for an year. We never had any issues. So as we moved to mumbai we wanted a person fulltime with us to take care of the kids. We approached the same agency and paid Rs 5000 as their charges. They send us a person who was good with the house work. AFter one week of her coming she spilled hot milk on her hand and was not able to work for a weeks time. So i had to do all the house work and spend medical charges for her also. This was all of no issues to me. Not before completing a month at home we got a call from her home saying her brother had met with an accident and we need to send her back immediately. We didnt have an option and send the maid back. I had to take leave for 2 days as my kids are small and i wanted to find a way out. I was constantly in touch with the agency but they said they dont have a person to come to mumbai now. I had to put my kids in day care and do all the housework by myself. Later i got a maid from here itself and called the agency to return my money as i dont want a maid from them as there was no assurance that that person would stay back. I didnt want to put my kids for a trial and error phase. even after continously contacting them for the money they were saying they will look into it and confirm later. After a mnoths time they were saying they cannot refund the money. The properieter, Ms. Satya, and the co-ordinator, Ms Sreedevi are just fooling us. And they are saying this is all business and this is how things work here. For me it was not business, it was how comfortably i could keep my kids. Rs 5000 is not a small amount for me..with great difficulty we are making the money. It was the way the were treating that i felt bad. Request your kind self to take some action and give me a favourable reply. I could tell you there are many like me who are facing this issue and doesnt know where to register
