I have faced continous tortures in APSRTC night service buses(between 9:00PM to 10:30PM) from bangalore towards Nellore, Hyderabad, Kurnool destinations and vice versa..It was all the way horrible sleepless night journey towards these destinations service buses due to bed bugs(Nallulu) bites..Its very pathetic situation and very very poor maintainence of the bus services..why there is a poor services of APSRTC all the way..not only the destination routes mentioned above..so many of my friends faced the same problem with sleepless night journey and fell sick due to these bed bugs tortures..Due to these tortures i really dont want to use APSRTC service any more....Even though we complain this to conductor or drivers they are helpless..y cant anyone take notice of the passengers safe journey..what is APSRTC department doing?Y is it not taking action on its complaints raised against its maintainence?
Is this the way you leave passengers tortured by these kind of poor maintainance..Public really hates this kind of negligence by APSRTC.Please take care of this situation.Else no one will be happy to board APSRTC services..

We too are victims of this pathetic bus service and had many sleepless nights. I recently faced this problem on 20:00 Nellore - Bangalore super luxury APZ 1060 bus (Service No: 5087)

We even lodged complaint

Please somebody suggest how to escalate this to higher autorites for corrective actions.
My brother and myself have faced a lot of hell due to rtc busservice We have reserved apsrtc ticket from
Pamuru to Hyderabad MGBS for the PAMURU-NIZAMABAD SUPER LUXURY bus service on 16/1/2011.
We faced many problems..
1)Its departure time from Pamuru was 7:15. But it departed earlier than 7:15. Somehow we managed to catch the bus after 20 kms.But we didnt recognize the bus as it was not the superluxury bus. Its an ordinary EXPRESS bus.

2)They didnt even change the bus service no.HOW CAN WE KNOW WHICH BUS TO BE BOARDED?

3)To our utter despair, the conductor started giving tickets in Kanigiri. They didnt even change the Bus No.
All the passengers were asking the same.But who will listen to their chaos.

4)We can't even imagine the VERY POOR SERVICE OF THE BUS.The windows were not good. They were shaking a lot.

5)The bus driver drove the bus in an ugly manner.We didnt had sleep all the night.Many people were asking him to go slowly.But he didnt listen n drove in his own way.

6)Bus is to be stopped outside the MGBS busstation.But he didnt stop there.He stopped at ChaderGhat at 5:15 am.From there, we had to move to busstation

These were the problems during our journey.

But the real problem started after that.This is the main reason why i have been lodging complaint.

7)On 17/1/2011, me and my brother were suffering from fever and vomitings.My brother couldnt even utter a word.For 2 days, he was the same.No recovery at all.Moreover he has an exam on 19/1/2011.


Why these RTC are playing with the passengers lifes???????????????
You have to complain Regional Manager and Depot Manager. Its been almost three years. Its surprising to see that this issue is not addressed. Its time to do a non-coperation against APSRTC.
Yes, even i faced the same problem of bedbugs..I didnt sleep for the whole night..It is the worst situation where the passengers cant do anything, It is the result of the worst maintainance of APSRTC..Better atleast now they realise the problem of bed bugs and take some immediate action over this.Because of this many people these days prefer train which needs an advance booking of 1month before.The conductors and drivers are least bothered about it.No use even if you complain them.I hope APSRTC will take this as serious concern and take further steps to resolve this.

    I am the Ex-Employee of APSRTC, worked as conductor(Emp No: 108630) .I got retirement on[protected].But till now I didn't receive my Leaves money .For Last 6 months I am going every alternative weeks to the office for the cheque. I am not getting the proper response from them and very irresponsible answers I am getting.I was given the complaint once to the R.M of kadapa already.So now the employess in the office(Clerks) are point outing the same like " you have given complaint to R.M., but still we need to issue the cheque...so you need to wait only" same answer is giving from 6 months.I retired from BADVEL Depot, Kadapa Dist. Please kindly help me to get my money ..I don't have other resource to earn money in family yet.This money will help me a lot...Thanks in advance.

      sir ,my self with my family i came to hyd from adoni on[protected] by a super laxury bus which was to departure at 10.45pm at adoni,
      but when we came to bus stand at 10.35pm we came to know that the has already left . any how we stopped the bus at the outskirts of the town.for that the driver and conductor started abusing us very valguerly(we were two adults and two ladies)

      pls take a severe action on them

      also we cannot see any responsible person in adoni bus stand after 9.00pm
      even in depo there was nobody except security people

        through APSRTC online ticket reservation. Before that the ticket got booked, money was cut from my account. but no ticket got booked.

          Hi,

          I would like to make compliant against an irresponsible driver. I was supposed to travel between Pune to Hyderabad by APSRTC super luxury bus on[protected]. I booked ticket through APSRTC website and went to the pick up (PUNE HADAPSAR) point at 6-15pm as the bus scheduled at 7-15pm. I was waiting there for bus for around one and half hour and finally I found that bus was coming at around 7-40pm so it was late by 25 minutes.

          Bus was coming and I prepared myself to get into the bus but I was shocked to see that driver did not stopped the bus at pickup point even I have shown my hand and asking him to stop but he did not responded and I have seen that he stopped the bus half kilometer away from the pick up point as he noticed that a red single was on. I thought of reaching the bus and started running to catch the bus through heavy traffic but I was failed to reach the bus since he got a green light.

          Thank god nothing was happened to me though I ran through heavy traffic. But I need an answer for the below questions

          1: Who would be responsible if something would have happened to me?
          2: Does APSRTC have stop there? If they don’t have why they mentioned in their website?
          3: Why that driver did not stop the bus at the pickup point which is shown in website?
          4: Does they give back my money which I paid for nothing
          5: Don’t they responsibility to pickup there passengers?

          There is no contact person name and no contact number mentioned in their ticket. They took my mobile number during the process of booking the ticket and I absolutely have no idea for what purpose they took my contact number.

          Service number for the bus is 1100 and I am also attaching the ticket for your reference.

          Looking for your response on this issue.

          Proper details saying the exact pick-up point and Landmark should be mentioned in the tickets.

            Hello Sir,
            I have booked my ticket as a lady passenger from vijayawada to hyderabad service no. is 3692. The seat next to me was allocated to male. I just went to the driver and expalined the same and asked to do the seat adjustment. Driver was argued with me saying "i don't know, its all your problem i can't do anything". Again i asked the driver as my front seat is single seat which was allocated to male person and i asked driver to do the swap. But driver was not responded. I traveled to hyderabad by sitting uncomfortably all the night. All my concern is, the driver can do the adjustment but still he feels like his job is only driving and he is not bothering to anybody. If anything happens then only drivers will come into picture? Everyone feels "Prevention is better than cure". So requesting you to kindly look into these things.

              Immediate action sought on the complaint lodged recently by Vijayawada Urban City Bus Passengers Association ( VUCBPA ) addressed to the Regional Manager APSRTC Vijayawada No. 3 City Bus conductors (some new comers) for their reckless behaviour with passengers including women elders and children and rash driving of new drivers and irregularity of timings either coming and going three buses at one go or not appearing for 30 mts causing tension and waste of time to passengers.

              When I try, always gives server busy.
              If some time opens, journey selection are not at all available. I do not why you released online reservation without proper testing.

              Please close all on line service reservation system for APSRTC and recheck complete business process.

              Try to see first KSRTC Online reservation website. All customers are happy to access and get the reservation online.

              OUR APSRTC will lose business after sometime if you continue like this service ( Very poor quality of bus service, no cleanness in the bus, no maintains including VOLVO buses, no attractive salaries for employees, No help to customer from the departments as well as employees). But we can see everywhere with big letters of GANDHIJI statements about RTC.

              no proper action has been taken so far. There is no improvement in the situation .Today I talked to the Vidyadharapuram depot manager. He was telling his problems only.

              I don't understand why the authorities fail to control the drivers in maintaining the timings. It is ridiculous that 3 or four buses come trailing one another and not a single bus appears for a minimum of 30mts causing lot of inconvenience to passengers every day.

              FIRST OF ALL THE FREQUENCY OF BUSES MUST BE IMPROVED BY MAINTAINING A GAP OF 10 MTS BETWEEN EACH TRIP. THEN ONLY IT WILL BE A GENUINE SERVICE.
              Recently I wrote a Box item in Vijayawada Chamber fortninghtly which appeared with my name stating the reasons for the losses to APSRTC in which the above topic was also mentioned.

              OTHERWISE WE WOULD BE FORCED TO ORGANISE DHARNA
              IF THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT IMMEDIATELY. OUR PATIENCE IS RUNNING DOWN. PASSENGERS VERY MUCH DISSATISFIED WITH THIS LONGSTANDING PROBLEM. I expect the authorities to rise to the occasion and set right this simple problem.

              we regret to inform your regarding the night shift enquirey department, yesterday night i called minimum times, but nobody is not responded to lift the phone. due to attend the interview at midnight 2 AM i traveled by walk to Ibrahimpattanam to catch the bus.

              My bus service no :3363 and Ticket no :[protected] Vijayawada to Hyderabad boarding at Ibrahimpattanam. the bus is too late, i want to attend the interview how? there is no bus, the alternate option is i have to go any other bus and attend the interview, after interview i have to come back and give the strong complaint on night service team.

              Unfortunate bus driver called me at 6 AM in the morning, the Driver contact number is - [protected], but due to my interview i already caught another bus and i am near to Hyderabad. why night employees playing like this?

              sir if night team is not responding then why the RTC Paying the money to them ?
              if your are not giving information how people believe the APSRTC? why maximum people choosing private travel? due to this type of experience only peoples are hesitating the RTC.

              Request to RTC Management please take necessary action on Night team to avoid this type of mistakes. And i request APSRTC to take necessary action on my amount to be Refund.

              Once i personally request to top level management please arrange my refund Rs.511.00.

              My name is siddhardha.......
              Today I'm abused by a bus conductor
              I have the ticket....
              Im unable to take down the bus number
              Can u trace with the ticket number
              The city Bus no: 31 bus driver whose code number is : 370318 and Conductor code number is : 369583.The conductor did not give one rupee change.The bus driver is not stopping the city bus at the bus stop till all Passengers get into the city bus, even the conductor is also in a hurry and asking the passengers to get down from city bus very Fastly.Why this bus driver and Conductor r in a hurry ? If this city bus is running late then what APSRTC traffic managers are doing ? What APSRTC Depot manager in charge of city buses is doing ? If this kind of things happen while going towards to pala project.It has become common practice among Apsrtc conductors of not giving change to passengers.

                I Mr. Sudhakar babu booked a ticket from Vijayawada to Bangalore Ticket on 28/12/2009 and the details No. : 8969103 ,Service Code : 3872 ,Time of Departure: 17:30:00 Hrs. Unfortunately my travelling scheduled was changed to some other day and i plan to cancel the ticket one day before i.e., 27.12.09, when i went to internet cafe and trying to log in but hole day it is saying that service busy. i mailed to those people to cancel my ticket but no result fromt those people till now. Even i went to APSRTC -Mahatma gandi bus stand in Hyderabad and met Depo manager and said the same reason to him, he gave me some No: asking me to call and ask them to cancel from their side. but they unable to cancel my ticket.

                My Question is when customer booking and cacelling ticket there is no proper online services.
                sencondly the phone No is given on the web site are not working, if work aslo no one is not going to pick up the calls.
                The emails was provide is good, but whether all the queries are reaching to them or not. if yes where is the response.

                I lost my 826 including all the charges who is going to pay me...

                Somany people travelling from bangalore to Hyderabad and some other places if the web site is not working properly then who is responsible for this.

                I need answer fromt he APSRTC.

                  This is complaint about the APSRTC operator,he is behaviouing very rude and when i gone to book ticket from kurnool-bangalore,i asked him to check the service from birla gate..he said i wont give..if you want ticket i will give from kurnool in very rude manner..i asked him atleast check..he said..i wont give ticket go he said..i said i will complain..he said..go go who will care for your complaint..i dont know whom to giv complint so am requesting you to order APSRTC ppl atleast to keep one link for compalints about the services provide by them..i gone to next counter which near to tht plce i got ticket from there and gone to him to show..he and his friend forcibly came on to me ..please take this complaint and take necessary action,

                    Dear Sir,
                    This is Havildar/Instr Ananta rao Duppala residing in Srikakulam district (Andhra Pradesh). While I am in a travelling it was happend to sit beside the APSRTC bus conductor on 11 Jan 2010 (Bus No AP30 V 2484) City service from Srikakulam to Amadalavalasa. And I am very sorry to say that your conductor (APSRTC) has been behaving very badly and he is not giving the remaining balance of passengers. i.e I was paid Rs 10 to ask a ticket. Ticket price is Rs 7 and he should return the remaining balance Rs3. But he was not returning the amount. Often he was absued the passengers and not giving the balance. I was observed for an hour to that conductor, approximately he was not returned about Rs 13 rupees from 5 passengers who was belonged to various stages.

                    Please make an enquiry on this particular point and take an appropriate decision. save APSRTC and Save Andhra Pradesh from this fellows.

                      Recently APSRTC Launched the website for online ticket booking. The service is
                      usefull to book online ticket but the problem is I booked ticket and cancelled my
                      ticket from the apsrtc website.



                      It’s nearly four month I have cancelled my ticket still my money is not refunded in
                      to my account.



                      There is no contact for apsrtc to raise this issue. However, they provided the email
                      id for any refund issues in their website.



                      I mailed them two to three times but they are not responded to my mail and not taken
                      any action regarding this. I think this problem is there with every registered user.



                      Please take necessary action on this issue. Hope my money will be refunded with this
                      mail.

                        I am G.Rama Krishna working in TVS finance as residual manager. I am your frequent passenger for APSRTC because mylocation is over spread from Nellore to Vizag.
                        I have taken ticket from Vizag to Rajahmundry in 22.12.2009 time at 13.50pm. In counter they alloted me current reservation ticket at 13.50pm. But bus moved from platform at 13.45pm.it was confirmed by enquiry staff also.The enquiry was done by The Station Manager also He was confirmed the same as bus was leaved the plat form at 13.45pm.After that i have logined written complaint in COMPLAINT REGISTER.
                        I requested the issuing staff and station manger for my ticket refund.They are refused in harse way.Every body knows that Govt employs were stupid workers at work place.Their irresponsibility costs so much of money and they playing with our speouis time.
                        So that what i under stood that dont depend on APSRTC always please ensure some private travels giving more reaponsibility for passengers.Every body stive for money and the RTC people utilizing our money with out our fortune.
                        So kindly refund my amount due to make of inconveince from department.

                        Hello Sir,
                        I am Srikanth, (Software Engineer) working in iGATE, I am your frequent passenger for APSRTC and I mostly supports always APSRTC. For better sleep I have booked ticket from KHAMMAM to KPHB, They issued ticket as Super Luxury with Air Suspenssion, but while I am traveling I observed one thing it was not Air Suspension. But they collected from me 160 Rs. But a travel bus collecting 150 Rs with Air Suspension facility how much diffrence is there and while in night journeys bus drivers stops the buses in private DHABAS, there is no toilet fecility for ladies, if we ask they are refused passengers request.
                        So whats happening on APSRTC, why should we have to bear all these things...

                          I wanted to know,if we cannot tender exact change to the conductor,do we need to get down from bus??

                          I travelled from Sec-bad to Chaitanyapuri on Dec 28th 2009 in a metro bus (AP28Z 4825) and i gave Rs. 100/- to conductor as i do not have change.He refused to issue ticket to me and forced me to get down from the bus.Infact,i asked him to write the balance amount in the back of the ticket,so that i can collect the amount at my destination.But he refused to do so.

                          Finally, i do not have an alternative and i was made to get down from the bus with my luggage. I was travelling from chennai all the way and i was very much tired and frustrated and i am having luggage and it was early morning and the conductor was arrogant and without mercy,he made me to get down in the middle.

                            Sir,

                            This is to bring to our notice that the staff specially the conductors of bus no 210 are unruly with the passengers and harass them for the no fault of theirs. I was their latest victim.

                            Yesterday (19/12/2009) I boarded the bus from MVP colony [Near Samta College] at around 4:45 p.m. for Sripuram Jn. I am travelling by this route, to & fro for past 6 months. As I am a lecturer in ACTS College [MVP colony] and I stay at Waltair Park [HPCL Colony, Siripuram Jn]. Mostly I travel by bus no 14 [as it’s more frequent in my route]. But yesterday I got into 210 No bus and boarded it from MVP colony [near Samta college] .Just at the next stoppage 3 checking officials boarded the bus and asked me for my ticket. [It was not even 5 min that I had boarded the bus and the conductor also had not come to collect the ticket]. I was accused of travelling ticket less. Moreover the way they treated me, hurt my dignity. I pleaded, argued and tried to convince that the fault was not mine. But still those men along with the conductor of the bus charged me for not buying the ticket. Why would I travel ticketless when I am travelling is this route for past 6 months. They charged me a fine of 200 Rs but later settled on with 50 Rs. This proves that they were trying to squeeze money out of me. Or else how come a 200 Rs fine suddenly come down to 50 Rs. I was willing to go to the police station along with them as the fault was not mine. The question is not of 200 Rs or 50 Rs, I could have easily given them the 200 Rs but why should I pay?

                            I would also like to know what is the rule for charging the passenger for a ticket less travel? After how many stoppages [passenger boarding a bus] he /she should have the ticket, or what time duration he/she is supposes to buy the ticket. Kindly let me know so that I can avoid this embarrassing situation in the future

                            Hear the question is about harassing innocent passengers. Today I am the victim tomorrow somebody else may have to go through same ordeal.

                            I would expect strict action against the accused, or else I would be forced to take this matter to higher officials.

                              I have purchased a ticket from APSRTC counter in Marathahalli, Bangalore to travel on Friday evening at 7.30 PM. When was about to start for the bus from home, I got a call from the APSRTC team that the bus was cancelled and to collect money the next day for cancellation. Got surprised and was shoked to hear that. Went to the counter to inquire what hapeend, but got shocked again to see the counter closed. Went on the next two days to collect money back, as told by the person who spoke to me and found that the counter had been closed. Third day from the issue, spoke to the person in the APSRTC counter and knew that I have to go to Majestic APSRTC office stand to collect money. As I have to go to Majestic, I took two more days to go to the office. When I spoke to the people present in the office, they say that money refund would be given only upto two days after the cancellation of the bus, and this was not informed by any means.

                              APSRTC counter person from Marathahalli says that the refund has to be from Majestic APSRTC and they say that the counter person should inform me to collect money with in two days. I went to the counter three days continuously and found that the counter was closed. Kindly provide some inputs how I can get the money back.

                                Hi Sir,

                                I really don't know whether complaining here gets me the desired results or not, but I decided to drop in a complaint as I feel this is the last resort for me.

                                I'm a resident of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. Recently I was driving back to my home from Panjagutta in my car. Then, a bus with the licence plate number AP 28 Z 245 came and hit my car from the left near the Khairtabad signal. The bus driver was found drunk at the time of accident. I then approached the local police through the Traffic police. The traffic police and general public were very sure this driver was drunk and it was proved.

                                We (the driver, me and two persons from the RTC depot) decided to get to the Police Station along with a cop who assisted us to get to the police station. The RTC team and the police was driving in the bus which hit my car and behind the bus, I was driving. Then, the bus driver stopped the bus and escaped from the bus. Excluding the bus driver, everyone reached the police station. I lodged a complaint against the bus driver and I was told by the police to go back home. While on my way home, the bus driver found sitting inside the bus and I only made the bus driver get to the police station. The police made the alcohol tests on the driver in my absense and gave a clean chit.

                                After two days, I reached police again to know the status of my complaint. To my shock, the police releived the driver from the police station with a challan of Rs. 300 and the police also told me that the driver was not drunk. They gave me a complaint acknowledgement receipt and told me to claim for insurance from my car.

                                On the same day, I called up the depot manager to settle the matter as police was of no help. But, I learnt that there is no point in talking to them also as they started being rude with me. They also tell me the same to apply for the insurance but they don;t want to help me in recovering the amount. I seriously have no idea of what to do now. In fact, the RTC authorities tell me to go to court and settle the matter as I cannot prove the driver was drunk at that time.

                                Please help me in this issue and show me a way.

                                The bus drivers here in Hyderabad drive carelessly resulting in many accidents. There a couple of incidents where the normal public lost their lives/body parts due to the negligent driving of the RTC drivers. Someone shoud take a serious action against them. They all should be punished to the core.

                                  APSRTC Garuda bus service from Karimnagar to Bangalore has become worst now-a-days.
                                  In last 1 month, bus has failed more than a couple of times because of which many passengers invcluding me has to suffer a lot (waiting on roads for bus replacement for 4-5 hours, and replacement bus is an ordinary bus for Garuda, We have to fight to get refund, and also to get right amount of refund) apart from this we have lost our one day salary as we were not able to go to offices (since reached bangalore at 2pm).
                                  All this is because of teh communication gap between the employees of APSRTC. Everyone is pointing the fingers at the others, nobody is ready to take responsibility. Tried all the possibler contact but nobody responded. And at one point we were asked to go to Karimnagar depot from Bangalore to collect the refund (amazingly!!!!!!!!!).
                                  I'm one of the regular passengers of thisbus and I have never reached to my destination even a single time.
                                  So we have decided not to use this services (service No's 7079 and 7080) again.

                                  We also advise others not to use this if you want to do a comfortable journey. Its preferable only if you w3ant to travel from Bangalore to Karimnagar for more than 20 hours.

                                    Respected Sir/Madam,

                                    I tried to book a bus ticket online from Hyderabad to Bangalore on 17th of September, 2009. When I tried it for the first time, the transaction was canceled at the end and the seat was not booked. But the amount of Rs. 403 was debited from my account. As the reservation was not booked at the first attempt, I tried it the 2nd time and got the seat booked. When I checked my subsequent statement of my credit card, I found 2 charges of the same amount (Rs. 403/-) by APSRTC where as the booking was successful only once.

                                    Then I approached APSRTC for the refund of the first charge. In the first contact, they took the complaint and said that the amount would be refunded in a few days. I waited for 3 weeks and I approached them again. They said they had sent all the refunds to their back and my account would be credited soon. I waited for few more days and contacted them again saying that the amount was not credited yet. Since then, I contacted them for about 4 times, but they kept saying the same thing, "The amount would be credited to my account soon". I had already checked with my bank and no amount was refunded.

                                    Today, they said that the amount was credited on 16th of October, which I never got credited to my account. Now, they say that I have to contact the bank that they transact with. They are not providing me with the sufficient information on this and they way they talk is very reckless. Being a government organization, they are very irresponsible. The details of my transactions with APSRTC are as follow.

                                      We are seven people travelling from vizag to vizianagaram, before getting into the bus we have asked the conductor whether there isa stop at chintalavalasa stop, conductor has assured us that he will stop at the chintalavalasa, but where as we requested the driver to stop at the point, he refused to stop and behaved rudely to us, even though the conductor was shouting to the drive to stop the bus, after shouting the driver stopped the bus after one kilometer from the stop.

                                      We are waiting for bus for 1hr from 4pm to 5pm at gandipet stop which is the last stop.
                                      But driver not stoped the bus at stop and simply turned the bus at stop and go way from the stop.

                                        I srinivas.manchikatla, I has traveled from Karimnagar to Secendrabad in AP11Z 2900 of Husnabad Depo Non-stop Express Bus on 30/09/2009 at 5.20 am, Who has charged me of RS 100/- instead of Rs 70/-.The actual traveling charge from karimnagar to Secundrabad is Rs 70/- only.
                                        But at the time of arrival of my destination i.e. at LALBAZAR, the conductor was requested me to give back the tickets to reuse it. But I have refused to give back. Please look into this matter and help the poor people with minimum amounts. I want to you to take strict action against the conductor.
