Dear Sir,
I bought an Asus Mobile, Model P565 in Rs 14999/-on 7th May 2010.
This mobile went hanged up after a few days of purchase. Further later the mobile charging did not happen and the charging port became loose. when the mobile is sent to service centre despite the cell is under warranty period, they are classifying this as a internal damage case.
Asus is saying that the damage is internal at a place where a customer cannot reach or access. The company is claiming a damage in motherboard which cannot be accessed by a customer. The cell is in perfect physical condition and was opened by service centre after breaking the opening seals for the first time.
The company is asking a charge of Rs 12500/ for rapairing this cell.
Repeatedly I am following up stating that this is a poor quality issue.
This is extremely poor quality cell with high price. When it came to service, the company has troubled the customer a lot and forcibly proving this as customer indiuced damage.
This is a taiwan company which is selling poor quality products in India and fooling the indian customers. I repeatedly told them that there is nothing which is induced by customer but they do not agree due to cost involved.
Humble request to you to please escalate the issue so that an Indian customer is not fooled.
Please take action against the company.

ASUS- PDA P-565 — Performance issues
Purchased ASUS PDA P-565 mobile in December and the performance of the same is very bad. Mobile use to hang continuously and the touch screen is troubling like anything. Even service centres are also not there near by to contact them Advising everyone not to go with ASUS mobile for those who looks after this.
