[Resolved]  AUTO DRIVER COMPLAINT — overcharging and misbehaviour

I had hired auto (rgn No 1986) from ramnagar colony, bavdhan to blue diamond hotel, nr koregaon park.

On reaching the destination, auto driver demanded Rs 150, without showing tarrif card. Normally the distance covered in daytime comes to Rs 95 only. on asking why he is asking extra, driver told that the meter had got stuck up and its not his fault, and demanded Rs 150 as correct tarrif. I told him that I travel frequently on this route and pay accordingly 90-95 ruppees as correct tarrif, on this auto driver started shouting and misbeheving with me, he also used unparliamentary langauage as well.

As he was uncontrollable and was adamant on his demand of asking extra money, I paid him Rs 200/- and left for my office to avoid embrassment .

PLS TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION AGAINST THESE CHEATING TSR DRIVERS WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LONELY PASSENGERS SPECIALLY LADIES.

AUTO DRIVER COMPLAINT — Theft By Auto Driver in Bangalore

Sir/Madam,

I was travelling by auto from Brigade Road (Bangalore) to Railway station by auto. Suddenly the auto driver started demanding Rs.100 and I refused to pay him that much because it was too much. Subsequenty he started abusing me and used vulgar language and argued with me. When I got out of the auto at the railway station and paid him the fare, he started the auto and went off before I could take my bag out. I shouted at him to stop but he deliberately went away. I was insulted badly by this rogue and also lost my bag to him.
