At 7.45 i took a share an auto meant for three passengers with registration no.MH 02 VA 1912 from Lokhandwala Kandivli east to go to Kandivli station.
As we travelled a few meters he stopped to take another passenger who sat next to the driver. At Hanuman Nagar the three passengers got off and paid full fare. The Auto driver insisted on waiting for more passengers. On one trip he got full fare from 4 passengers but was not satisfied. Despite my protests he continued to wait for more pasengers saing he will not proceed till he gets more passengers. Besides he was chewing paan/ghutka and kept spitting on the road, even when the risksha was in motion.
Day by day the plight of people travelling from Lokhandwala is getting worse. In teh evenings most rikshaw drivers refuse to ply rikshaws to Loknadwala. If they do they insist on charging Rs 10 per head insteed of the normal fare of Rs 7 for a shared rikshaw. Is there no one to help customers in distress? AUTO RICKSHAWS IN KANDIVALI EAST — KANDIVILI EAST STATION RICKSHAWS
1. DUE TO CONSTRUCTION OF SKYWALK BRIDGE AT KANDIVILI EAST THE PUBLIC WALKING TO THE RAILWAY STATION AND COMING OUT FROM STATION ARE FACING GREAT INCONVENIENCE. THE AUTORICKSHAWS ARE PASSING BEYOND THER LIMIT AND CAUSING COMPLETE BLOCKAGE TO THE COMMUTERS WHO WALK ON THE ROAD. THEY EVEN BLOCK BEST BUSES TO MOVE OUT FROM THE DEPOT. IS THERE ANYBODY TO HANDLE THESE AUTORCSHAW TRAFFIC IN KANDIVILI EAST?2. AT THAKUR VILLAGE IN FROT OF BHOOMI HILLS AND N. G. SUNCTY THERE ARE SEVERAL AUTORICKSHAWS LINED UP. BUT IN EMERGENCY IF I HAVE TO GO TO DOCTOR AND DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE NEARBY, NONE OF THE AUTORCSHAW IS AGREEING. SOME AUTOS WHICH ARE COMING FROM OUT OF KANDIVILI ONLY ARE LISTENING OUR URGENCY. WHEN I AM IN DIFFICULTY HOW I CAN FIGHT WITH THESE RICKSHAW DRIVERS AND WASTE MY TIME? IS THERE ANY BODY WHO CAN TAKE ACTION ON THESE RICKSHAW DRIVERS?
