This is to register a complaint against the driver of autorickshaw KA-05 AA 1003.
The auto driver was trying to overtake from right and as he couldnt succeed in it, he stopped right beside us and starting using all abusive and foul languages possible. There is not much that a self-respecting person can listen to, and when things got out of control my husband tried telling him to mind his language. This instigated the auto driver further and he raised a slipper at us, and at that moment the signal went green and we moved ahead, little did we know that the auto guy was following us. He chased us for abour a kilometer and a half and then blocked our way and started hitting our car. He hit our car at least four-five times with full force, hence I immediately tried rolling up the driver's window so that he cudnt do any physical harm to us.
There was a tarffic police guy there, and we approached him for help and justice but he dint even listen to us and instead started shouting at us for blocking the traffic. I wonder what approach must people like us take should such an incident happen.
This incident happened near Brand Factory, Wilson Garden, Bangalore on 9th June'09. It is with great faith in the system that I am reporting this incident here in this forum. Kindly direct us to appropriate authorities who can take care of such people as they definitely are a threat to normal people travelling on the roads. They definitely need to be punished for such behaviour.
