I wanted to travel from Vellore new bus stand to VIT Vellore college, it was around 3.50 am(26.10.25) so there is no other option available other than auto, this auto driver asked 300rs just because I am student studying in VIT, but there was another passenger already sitting inside to him he only asked 30rs for Vellore new bus stand to Katpadi. Also he started fear mongering me by saying other auto drivers will steal your money and road...

This is with regard to unauthorized Auto/Rickshaw parking at the address provided below.

This is neither the society parking nor the BMC issued parking space, but the Auto/Rickshaw driver park their vehicle and during the peak office hour deny to go for the Metro or railway station.
They only take ride for a longer route.
It was an emergency situation and a mother needed to take her baby to the nearby hospital but then also they clearly denied.

Even the BMC has visited and cleared the space sometime, but they again start parking after couple of days.

This is really frustrating and creating a problem for the local resident in Peak office hours.

Please suggest a right channel to register this complain and help us further.

As per some couple of weeks herein Lachit Nagar Guwahati 3 4 autos are standing at 2 wheeler parking place and blocking the 2 wheeler parking places. Where we are not able to park our 2 wheeler nearby 2 mtr only auto stand situated. Please take serious action on them. They are completely occupying the place illegally.

I would like to bring to your information that an Autodriver bearing registration number KA03 AF7796 behaved very rudely & demanded excess fare. He uses very fielthy language & when not paid abuses every one in & around. Can the authories take some strict action on him

I live in Thrissur. On 19/10/2021, i hired an auto KL08 B 8779 from Palace road to Vadakke stand. It is just a 2 minute walk but since i was in a hurry, i did have to hire the auto. I gave the driver ₹30/- expecting to get ₹5 back, but he just started off and when i asked him for the balance, he sped off fast shouting something bad.
Pls do necessary action against the driver. This is not a matter of ₹5/-, but a matter o[censored]nprofessionalism, cheat and deceit.

Charged more price from Thevara junction to konthuruthy s.d convent road.other auto take 25 but he took 35 and he was shouting also.i was with my small kid.please take necessary action. KL-07 CC-5488, 6:20 pm date 09/09/2021

Today when I was traveling near golchakar Delhi.. I carelessly left my bag in the autorickshaw I don't know anything about the Auto driver..the bag is very important to me..the auto driver left me near ambedkar college golchakar.

The auto from mit campus auto stand (K. C circle) charges 60rs for a ride from kamath circle to dasharath nagar which is around 1.8-2km. Previously they used to charge 40rs which is already expensive but today they are demanding for 60rs which is double the actual cost.
None of them use the digital meter in the rickshaw and are very rude when questioned about the exorbitant price and refuse to take the ride.
How does authority allow such behavior and there do we even complain about the injustice?

Dear sir,
Am a daily traveller from aluva seminari pady to aluva metro station and the distance is hardly 2.4 kms.
But the drivers are not even willing to come for rs 50 and they demand for 60-70rs.
Every day morning and evng i travel to metro station via auto only.
If we are not ready to pay 60rs they won't even start the journey and most important part they don't run or on the meter or go by meter reading and don't even show the meter reading chart in the vehicle.
Need a permanent solution for this.

I daily take auto to work i. E. From pestom sagar road number 5 to vikas centre, both of which ate located in chembur. The fare which i pay daily for the distance covered by auto is 50 rs. As i travel by the same route daily. The amount 50 rs. Is inclusive of fare charged by auto for the waiting time due to traffic. However on 23rd of april 2019, the auto i took charged me 65 rs. Which is a very high amount even after taking the traffic into consideration. On the day the traffic faced was lighter compared to other days as well. While getting off of the auto i noticed that the meter was showing distance covered as almost 6 km while the actual distance of the route taken is around 4 km. I feel that the auto i took had a malfunctioning meter due to which i had to pay 15 rs. Extra.
I have given the details of the number plate here. I request you to please look into the matter.

I am working at kunnamkulam. During my journey to kunnamkulam from my hometown, i have to depend on autorikshaws since the place i am living is almost 1 km away from kunnamkulam junction. The autorickshaw walas here always charge 30-50 rupees. They would point to the next auto and henceforth if you ask them to come. A person who is riding autorickshaw with no kl-46-g-54 is really a fraudster. He charges exorbitant rates and also treats you badly. Either the authorities should control them or cancel their permits

There is unauthorized auto rickshaw stand infront of my home and building... Auto rickshaw drivers behave very rudely with us... They are BLOCKING WAY to our home and commercial building... When we asked about the same they have shouted on us in very bad language... We have sent written compliant to local RTO... However no action was taken..

We the students paid a fine of Rs.22750/- as we failed to submit the original concession form during the journey. We were fined insisting that it could be refunded on the submission of the original concession form. But now the Madurai divisional office has denied our request for refund.

I was travelling with my family and in North railway Station(Ernakulam Town) any of the Auto drivers were not willing to take us up to Kaloor Bus stand. I asked to at least three of them, one of the driver was telling he is ready, if you agreed to pay Rs.150/- for that 2-3 KM. For past 13 Years I am staying outside Kerala and since 2008 and I couldn't get any Auto from Ernakulam Town for going to Kaloor Bus stand. Kindly do the needful.

The new electronic meters in the Autorickshaws are either having a flaw or seemed to be tamppered.
Most of the Sansui & Dighe meters I have observer the waiting starts immediately when you board the Autorickshaw & the driver downs the meter.
Similarly even while the running is very slow the meter waiting goes on. Some of them even go on when breaks are appied.
I have noted one of the Autorickshaw No.(MH-02-SA-1667)...

This incident happened at Kanhangad city. I was in a hurry to catch the train. So I planned to go to the railway station by autorickshaw. But he refused to drop me at the station as he saw some girls waiting for the next rickshaw. And he took the girls and went. I missed the train only because of him. Please take necessary action against him. His vehicle number is 'KL 60 D 7147'. Hope you will consider my complaint. Thank you.

This is in concern to all the Autorickshaw across Delhi.. Whether its Noida,Haryana or Southdelhi there is no meter in autorickshaw which tell us the customer the exact charge to be paid. All these autorickshaw dont have meter and ask customer to pay so much even if the route is short, its is the same with rickshaw also. For eg. From Krishna Mandir (Malvyia Nagar) the autor wala will ask the fare 50Rs where as if you go by meter it will not even come 50Rs.

Yesterday from Sec 59 to NSEZ auto was asking for the fare 150 or 200 rs. Few of the auto no are : UP16 AT 3460, UP16 AT 4062, UP16 AT 4979

Would request to please take a strict action against auto and rickshaw and highlight in the newspaper for the entrie population in delhi.

Auto rickshaw no KA 04-4856 meter is tampered. charging at least 10rs/ km.

I travel from J P nagar 7th Phase to Anand Rao Circle (TCS Office) daily. The auto fare from my palce till the office is usually between Rs. 111 to Rs. 115.

Today the Auto no. KA05 B8323 which i took from my place to office reached Rs. 152. Even in abnormal circumstances it cannot reach that much.

I told him that his meter is not correct & he needs to get it checked. He refused and I had to end up paying more that what i usually pay on a daily basis.

This kind of harassment I have to face on a daily basis.

I request such auto drivers licence should be cancelled so that it serves as a deterent to otehr auto drivers and they should never make such mistakes ever.

Also I request the authority that they should have check every month to catch suchj errant auto drivers who are making a mockery of daily travellers knowing very well that no one will punish them ever.

I am a resident of Kunal Icon Apartments in Pimple Saudagar, Pune. My complaint is against all the autorickshaw drivers in the Pimple Saudagar area. None of them agree to use the Meter attached on their autorickshaws. They just say an unethical fare amount of their own will, which if not accepted by us, then the service is not offered to us at all. They are just so arrogant that they do not even bargain. Following 3 examples will give you an idea of the unethical fares that the auto rickshaw drivers in the area of Pimple Saudagar charge:

1. My wife, in my absence wanted to go to Park Street (This is located hardly at a distance of 2KM from Kunal Icon). She asked an autorickshaw driver from the gate of Kunal Icon. He said "Rs 70, if to be dropped inside Park Street". When my wife objected, he said "Give Rs 50 and I will drop you outside the Park Street and then you walk inside". My wife was carrying a baby and she then had to walk some good 500 metres before she got an autorickshaw driver, who charged Rs 50 and dropped her inside Parke Street. By meter, the same distance should have cost me a maximum of Rs 30.

2. I was on my way back from Mumbai. The bus dropped me at the Jagtap Diary stop in Vishal Nagar (again hardly more than 1 KM from Kunal Icon). The autorickshaw driver charged me Rs 50 for a 5 min drive to Kunal Icon apartments. When asked, he says these are fixed rates. I told him to show the fixed price chart, to which he started quarreling and abusing. By meter, the same distance should have cost me a maximum of Rs 20.

3. I work with Wipro Technologies, located in Hinjewadi, Phase - 2. One day, I had to leave early for home, so I asked an autorickshaw driver for a service till Kunal Icon (10 KM from Hinjewadi, Ph-2). He says "Rs 180, fixed rate". Given, the distance, I think by meter it will cost me a maximum of Rs 100.

I want the RTO to take strict actions against these unethical public service providers. Since autorickshaw drivers are not Private Transport providers, they can not charge any amount on their own, they have to abide by the RTO designed fare rules, failing which they should be banned from providing such a service.

This is to inform you that most of the time Autorickshaw from Kalyan Station are behaving very rudely with passengers.They demand Rs 10 from kalyan to Chakki Naka instead of real charges release by Rickshaw Union that is 9 Rs. When we request for the reason they say that Roads are not clear due to path-holes,No change for returning 1 rupee against 9 rupee fare when passenger exchange for 10-100 rupees etc.Its really a bad situations and passengers especially suffers at evening during the peak hrs where this Rickshawallah behave ruthless. They make wait to the passenger till the fourth seat next to driver is allocated to a passenger for the same fare which is ILLEGAL..But still Traffic Police lacking action to avoid such illegal issues.
Things are really turning to pathetic and every time we public has to suffer.
Quick response is really appreciated.
Kindly help us to get rid of issue so that we can have faith on this forum and respected authorities.

My mother had some tests at Hiranadani Hospital, Powai but she was in wheelchair due to which we have to catch an auto...only 4 buildings away from the hospital we reside but after tests were done we were waiting for an auto..there were nearly 7 autos outside the hospital but none came...even i told them that there is a patient in wheelchair due to which we want an auto for help. Does Humanity exist. I am really pissed off with these autowalas i dont say all but at least 80% are bad. I have came across many autowalas who dont even bother to stop, I never complained just let it go but today it was limit, my mom was not able to walk and she was in wheelchair and in pain. I think some rules must be passed for these auto walas. This is the first time I am complaining i hope this is heard...

i live in raheja township at malad east. the rickshaw drivers at malad station never agree to go from malad station to raheja township in malad east. we almost have to ask a 50-60 auto drivers to take us to raheja township. its a daily problem here. can something be done about this.we are really tired of this nonsense. its really irritating , cuz it has to be faced everyday. plz help us get out of this mess.

This is regarding an auto driver ( auto reg no: KA 02 C 6323).
I took an auto from Mount Carmel College, Vasanthnagar upto Vignanagar(inside BEML gate). The auto driver demanded for Rs. 150, I said the meter comes only to Rs 127 and did not accept. He then said he will put the meter. I agreed and got into the auto.
Only on the Cambridge road, near Frank Anthony Public School did I realise that his meter was not working. I told him so. He then said, " You pay me how much ever the meter normally comes upto". I agreed and we continued. After reaching the destination, he demanded for Rs. 150, I gave him Rs 130 and said this was how much it normally come to. He said he did not want the money and started following me home.
I tried calling the police station and they are not helping. I don't know what to do.
Please reply to me as soon as possible.

Dear Team, on 17th March 2011, I took a rickshaw from Borivali East station to Santacruz west in the morning at 7 am. The rickshaw was speeding on the WE Highway, while driving the auto, driver spat on the road and, the spit came inside, I told the driver not to do this again. At Goregaon Flyover he did the same again. I got angry and asked him to stop the auto rickshaw, and then he started abusing. The driver of the rickshaw also started saying bad words and said whatever you wish to do go ahead; I would continue to behave the same way.

This is not correct and action should be taken again the Auto driver. His Auto Rickshaw number ended with 8955.

Please ensure due punishment should be given to him against the rude and uncouth behavior of the driver.

I had taken a service of an auto rickshaw on 5th Feb around 1915 hrs from Corporation circle to Uma talkies, chamrajpet. Reached the destination at around 2000 hrs got down with my wife, daughter and one baggage. but forgot one backpack in the rear of the seat. it contained one DSLR Nikkon D3000, 18-105 lens, one necklace(15 gm), one earing (5 gm), 8 GB HP pen drive,Rs 2500 valued Sodexo food coupons and 3 pairs of kids wear.
the name plate details of the driver are as follows K.Muniswamy, anjannappa garden, Mysore road, Bangalore. police complaint was given immediately, but i request any body who would have boarded the same autorikshaw pls let me know the license plate number. my phone number is [protected].

I caught a rickshaw with number MH-02-UA-9071 at Ghtakopar junction for Hiranandani. Initially he did not ask for the destination so I sat in the Rickshaw then we went ahead . near Rcity mall he asked for destination i told him hiranandani. he stopped the rick and rudely asked me to get down. I refused to agree so he abused me and threatened to hit me. I told him lets go to the rto office and sort it out. he started abusing further. he pushed me out of the rick.
