Everyday, I go to office in my car. I follow traffic rules very strictly. This complaint is about how I'm being mentally harassed by auto drivers who literally force me to not follow the traffic rules. Near Rajkilpauk junction at Tambaram, there is a signal. People who come from Medavakkam can go either straight to Tambaram or can take a left turn in that junction. But, there is signal for both straight and left. To make things more clear, it is not a Free Left turn. Here, everytime, when the signal is red, I'll stop my vehicle and wait till it changes to green, to take the left turn. But the auto drivers abuse me for doing so. If I choose to ignore him, he keeps honking continuously. Sometimes he manages to squeeze through the small gap beside my vehicle and then abuses me for obeying the signal. How could I even make an attempt to explain things to him when he doesn't care to listen? It is extremely upsetting. For no fault of mine, I am being mentally harassed. What bothers me the most is, many a times, these drivers scare me by almost hitting my vehicle. Even if I make a note of his number plate and make a complaint against him, how many drivers should I be doing this to? Also, how can I prove that it was that particular auto driver who banged on my vehicle? The traffic policemen in this junction don’t seem to bother rather chose to ignore such things. But, should we obey traffic rules only if traffic policemen are there? Please do something about enforcing people to follow the signal strictly in this junction. I want to follow the rules. Please help me in doing so! Was this information helpful? |
don't know — Traffic Rules
I want to know all the rules for being a people of the Gujarat Ahmedabad. The traffic police taking some times 100/- or 200/- or 50/- Because i don't know the rules i've to give them money. So i'm waiting for the reply.
And they are also talking about submitting the Vehicle to the court directly if we're giving some of the rupees he has asked. So is he has a right to do that?
I'm waiting for a favorable early reply.
