[Resolved]  Big Bazar Kota — Theft and Cheating at real strore

The following purchases were done at Big Bazaar Store at Kota vide VAT Invoice No 112/587 on 25/01/2010 and Cash Memo No 112/587 dt 25/01/2010 Cashier LOKESH TIME 20.55.15

The good of value Rs 2007.00 were purchased and packed in one bag. On Inspecting the bag, a large no. of items (details below) were found missing while the bag and seal was intact .

The remaining items and bag was brought back to Big Bazzar outlet at 21.30 Hrs at the cash counter no 1 and told to the casher regarding the missing items. He said that items are kept in side after waiting 30 mint and no action taken I took the matter to the lady sitting in the customer care. She was totally un-concerned about our problem and told us that we must be careful as it’s our mistake and company don’t attend to such complaints and she acted as it if we are thief and trying to dupe Big Bazzar. On our repeated request she called her boss in charge Mr. Sanjeev. He was a very rude person and stated misbehaving with me and my wife and telling that we are not attentive or we are trying to cheat your retail chain, on intervention of some other in charge he noted the contents of missing items and phone no. and told us that he will try to return the maximum of item.

On 28 –Jan -2010, we again contacted customer care who gave us the same rude answer, and then called Mr Sanjeev, who did not appear for more than one hour; we waited from 1900 Hrs to 2000 Hrs but he didn’t come to met us nor did he contact us .

The complaints against the Big Bazzar, Kota are:
1) Cheating and steeling of goods of customer.
2) Customer care is just, like show peace and behave in manner unconcerned of the problem faced.
3) The in charges are some of them are Rude and get angry on the person who are in problem, Don’t try to listen and attend the complaints
4) There is lack of clarity of the role of manager who just passes the problem to others and spent time talking with each other, without attending to the clients.
5) There is no method deployed to measure the net weight of total baggage or some TV footage so that such kind of problem is identified


Kindly give us missing items and take corrective steps so that in future such type of problem doesn’t recur. The fault is not ours but failure of your staff and management and your system where such simple measures like the net weigh machine or CCTV footage is not in place.

the service in big bazar is noty at all of the clarity it lacks:

1.THE ATTENDANT OR THE SALES PEOPLE ARE NOT HAVING THE BASIC MANNER TO DEAL WITH THE PEOPLE.
2.THEY ACT LIKE DUMB AS IF THEY ARE EMPLOYEE BUT DOSENT KNOW ANYTHING.
3.I[censored] ASK THEM WHERE ANY PARTICULAR ITEM IS? THEY WILL TELL THAT THE ITEM IS NOT THERE OR STOCK NOT AVAILABLE. LATER ON THE CUSTOMER HIMSELF WILL FIND THE ITEM FROM THE STORE.

I agree with you Vinod. Yesterday I went for shopping at Big bazar Kota & they made 2 mistakes in the same bill.
1. quoted the rate of maize Rs. 36 per Kg instead of Rs. 18 per Kg.
2. Charged the price of tomato in stead of cauliflower (the diff. in the rate of Rs. 20 per Kg)
Moreover when I talked to customer desk representative at help desk, he said "aisi chhoti chhoti galtiyan to hoti rehti hain".
These people are trained to do mistakes & don't have any repent on their doings.
Totally fed up with those guys.
THE STAFF THERE IS VERY RUDE AND A SERIOUS ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN TOWARDS THEM.
I totally agree with Vinod on the way the people working at Bigbazaar is handling customer issue. My son has given a mobile charger(LG Optimus make) which become faulty with in a month and hasn't got back repaired or replacement piece as of now. These bas---- take lot of customer quality time without responding properly and not sticking to the promise they make. I have seen many customers with similar complaint in the same counter. They have one or two pieces of mobiles and doesn't have support services. Real cheaters and never buy a mobile from Big bazaar.
