[Resolved]  BSNL — No outgoing sms

Hi,

I too had the same issue with sending SMS from my BSNL No, I got it working by updating the SMSC, steps below

1. dial *#*#4636#*#*
2.go to phone information.
3. SMSC "[protected]", 145 ( yes, type exactly including the quotes )

Call BSNL customer care number.
Ask the call center executive about the correct SMS Service Center number.
Put the number at setting of SMS service menu.
Restart the mobile.

Problem resolved.

Hello sir, I have seen many users are facing the issues regarding sms not sending. I have searched on the google regarding this issue and found a perfect solution. It is not possible to send messages fron my BSNL no. So, the verification of bank accounts linked with the mobile no failed. So, it is not possible to send money to other accounts by using mobile banking. The problem continued since last 9 months.
So, do the needful for rectifying the problem at the earliest
