I had very good experience of these companies. They have an excellent idea of treating newcomer as God only for 1-2 days. When I was trying for software jobs in Mumbai, I thouhgt of cheating them who cheat all professionals like us.
So, my plan was like this:

Firstly I was very happy to see it in the mailbox. Velocity's interview was on 24th and Tangent's was on 25th jan. 2012. I went for the Velocity's first and to my shock the office of Tangent, Velocity and Cossax were all in the same office in the building of Pradnya Empire in Deep Bunglow chowk.
The mail stated that the interview time is from 3-4pm. I wanted to confirm before leaving the house and I called the office and the receptionist said that the interview's started from 2pm itself. I went there hurriedly, many people were there, two preety girls were there taking everybody's resume and giving them one form to fill up. But there was no rush for anything. After filling the form, for 2 hours I was just sitting there and people kept coming and they kept giving the forms to fill up. I don't know what kinda organization doesn't have any fixed time for interviews.
During that time, we started talking to each other. Everybody was asking "have you heard of the company before?" Nobody did. There were young people who have come from U.P. and Orissa, they are doing their job but came here specifically for this interview. If what you guys have posted here is true then God help those people. All o[censored]s went there with hopes and it could be seen in the eyes.
Then Mr. Amit Baid called people into his office in the groups of 4 at a time. I don't understand why he couldn't call all o[censored]s at once or could come into the room where we were sitting and give the detailed information. When we were called in, he started boasting about his company "Appco group" and his firm works with the Airtel and such big companies.
Interestingly enough, he asked us a question, "Why do you think Indian market is growing?" I replied, "Reason is Infrastructure growth in the country and the consequent increase in the consumer's earnings." one other fellow said something else. And to my shock Mr. Baid said, "both of you are partially correct", and then he left the topic and started boasting about his company. He did not even bother to tell us what is the actual reason, that incident gave him up.
Then he started saying that he's working in the same company for past 7 years and from the salary of 20k (when he started) now he earns 75k per month. Then he explained if we get to join, we would get 14-40k depending upon our qualifications and after 8-10 months we would be earning 80k-100k. (In which case, he should resign from his job and should join as the management trainee coz. he would be getting more than 75k per month). That is again contradicting.
One more thing I observed is that, in the whole office, three companies are there, three receptionist cum HR are there, and one boss by the name of Amit Baid is there. These 4 people look after the recruitment process only and nobody works on anything else. Also nothing official is present there, no cards, no stationary, only sign boards are there for three companies and one phony office.
I was told that the interview would be taking place on 25th, next day but then it did not happen. They said (when I called them) that my profile is on the hold and they would let me know later. Whatever happens, I will post here.
ps. As one guy pointed out earlier, "he does not even look like a 3000Rs. guy", I would like to add that, he wears suit and puts gel on to his hair but he ain't got any real knowledge, when he speaks he talks like a salesman, doesn't look like an Business head of a MNC.

This forum has been an eye opener, I received a similar sounding email from 'UNIQUE' a subsidiary of the appco group; the contents of which were filled with ambiguity, and having the slightest bit of skepticism, I decided to google the HR conducting my interview, and so here I am; I've learnt (through this forum) that my prospective interviewer is perhaps the most arduous advocate of the group of companies brought into question. Personally, i'm disappointed with the 'acceptance for interview' letter. Though quite persuasive, the lack of imagination expressed in my interview selection letter is in coherence with those mentioned above. The contents of which I've enclosed below.
The email I received is a complete farce, and i admonish people to approach cautiously, also, I hope proper labor reforms are brought to effect regarding the matter.
