I sanjit singh father of arash prtap singh wants acknowledge a complaint of amri hospitals kolkata. My arash pratap singh was admitted in bhagirati neotia hospital for the treatment of diffrent sorts of viruses. On 12th of september 2018 they refered him for amri hospital and the treatment starts in amri hospital after 10 to 12 days they told that virus is cleared but on 27th of september they told that our child is suffering from dengue fever. How it can be possible that in p. I. C. U dengue mosquito will bite him in p. I. C. U. Doctor is accepting but management is pressurising the doctor and the management are refusing for this and telling that we can't do anything and if the child dies we are not responsible for it and are behaving very irrationaly

My brother in law i.e. sister's husband has recently expired while he was suffering from COVID – 19 infection and was admitted at AMRI hospital, Dhakuria, Kolkata. He was admitted in AMRI hospital with mild breathing issue in April, 2021 in HDU under the supervision of Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee. Under the supervision of Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee, who is a pulmonologist, his health condition kept on deteriorating day by day while the doctor apparently paid no heed to it. His mental strength along with his physical condition kept on deteriorating day by day. It’s a well known fact that while treating this disease, it’s imperative that a patient has the will to fight and is constantly motivated to do the same by the doctors. But nothing of this sort was done. Instead he was demotivated to the extent that he felt that he will never be able to come back alive.
In 1st week of May, 2021 he was transferred to ICU bed and inspite of several requests, the hospital authorities did not give any explanation why his health is keeping on deteriorating day by day. Two of his teeth were broken while he was being put on ventilation. Also, during this time the hospital authorities informed that he has been infected by a secondary infection named “Enterobacter cloacae” and I have a strong belief that this happened due to sheer negligence and wrong treatment under Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee . Ultimately, he expired on the 3rd week of May, 2021 and the hospital authorities issued a humungous bill of Rs 10 lakhs bill without any viable justification for such a huge amount.
I sincerely request everyone not to admit their beloved ones in AMRI hospital which is nothing but a death bed and a fraud hospital. They dont have doctors, they have butchers who will loot your money and kill your beloved ones. Beware of AMRI, KOLKATA.
Hospital setup is very nice but they are not give proper service to the parent party in outdor unit . be care full about this matter .

The service offered by the echo room in ground floor is pathetic. They entertain side cutting of serial for the ones known to their staffs. Waited for an hour on 21/09/2018 for my serial for the test. But then a hospital staff accompanied a patient known to him and to our surprise they were called first. When i complained that it is our serial as stated by themselves, they lied that doctor has instructed that he would do their check up. But no doctor came to the room and their echo was done.
Being a reputed hospital, such kind of behaviour (Just like govt hospital) is never welcomed.
    Feeling pathetic.

I was asked to call for an appointment with dr sujit chaudhuri on september 3, 2018 at 8 am. I had called several times but from the said time but the operator did not attend the phone. And as a result i could not get an appointment. My patient is suffering from cirhosis of liver. When the operator attended it was afternoon. As i narrated him the incident he completely denied and blamed me of lying and disconnected the call. I have proof for my words.

This is a complain against the person who had prepared the 'discharge summary' of my father mr. Jayanta kumar ghosh (Aged: 71yrs) who was admitted in amri dhakuria, kolkata for an avf from 15/04/2018 - 16/04/2018. He is a ckd, hypertension, highly diabetic and heart patient. Due to the avf dr. Siddhartha mukherjee had prescribed him few medicines to be taken for 5 days post discharge. But in the 'discharge summary' out of these medicines for one particular antibiotic (Lizolid tablet) no duration was mentioned. Hence my father had continued taking that antibiotic after 5 days also. He started feeling very weak, nausea and vomiting tendency from the 7th day post his discharge. He has become severely ill now. And is unable to get up from bed. Today when we called up dr. Siddhartha mukherjee he told us that the antibiotic was only meant to be taken for 5 days and so my father should stop the antibiotic immediately. Hence i would like to complain against the person who had actually prepared the 'discharge summary'. Due to his mistake (Not mentioning the duration of taking the antibiotic) my father has become very ill. Such a reputed hospital like amri should not neglect this type of blunder and should take action immediately against the person who had prepared the discharge summary. It is a matter of my father's life after all. Such a life-threatening incident is not at all acceptable from amri dhakuria hospital staff.

Even after booking for appointment for regular check up and obtaining confirmation of the date, time and the Consulting Doctor, when we visit Amri Hospital Bhubaneswar OPD desk, we are asked to wait for our serial number which has been given on first - cum- first serve basis even if they have not taken prior appointment. If that’s so, then why the online booking facility and why it has not been mentioned about first - cum - first serve system?
Can I expect a response on this?

Saltlake amri hospital emergency rmo dr. Behavior is very rude and unprofessional. They have to understand that they're in medical profession and how to behave with patient party during an emergency. That is fine if they don’t want be sympathetic with the patient party but they can at list work/behave professionally.

But they are threatening patient party, showing security. Does it means they can use mussel power if patient party is bit queries patient condition in an emergency.

Such inhuman behavior is not all expected from such a renowned health organization.

Hopefully hospital management will take the necessary action and insist their staff to work/behave professionally.

              Thanks

My sister is 23 yr old named Sagufta Zabeen based in Kolkata has cancerous tumour engulfing her whole heart. Her Treatment started in June 2016. We consulted AMRI (Dhakuria), APOLLO GLENEAGLES, RABINDRA NATH TAGORE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CARDIAC SCIENCES in Kolkata. Dr. P. K Hazra (HOD of Cardiology, AMRI) started giving her TB medicine despite the test coming as negative, it continued for TWO MONTHS along with STEROID (she was on steriod for 9 months). Dr Hazra referred us to Dr S K Todi (General Medicine Specialist, AMRI, Kolkata). The same TB treatment was carried on by Dr. Todi & asked her to go for PET SCAN. The scans clearly revealed the presence of TUMOUR inside her heart. But Doctor IGNORED it. And this lead to delay of proper treatment, making her more fragile. The WRONG TREATMENT went on for 9 months and the presence of tumour was finally revealed at a Delhi Hospital. The DELAY INCREASED THE SIZE OF TUMOUR and due spread elsewhere, which is now making her treatment impossible
At present she is admitted at AIIMS, Delhi fighting for her life

With reference to the subject, I would like to highlight your gross negligence towards patients by which someone's life is in stake. First you go through the attachment, all the references regarding my complain is there.
My father Mr. Prafulla ch. Tripathy was admitted on 07.06.16 to your hospital after complaining about chest pain. You had conducted angiography( Dr Lingraj Nath) and found one blockage in heart and put one stent on 08.06.16. And he was kept in ICU for 3 days. On 10.06.16 your radiology Dept Personnel Dr. Ramakrishna Meher had conducted ultrasound of my father, plz find the report attached and go through it properly. You have written in technical language that he had some issues( LARGE HAEMANGIOMA ON RIGHT LOBE OF LIVER) in his liver. We being naive to such terms, we couldn't understand what's written there. However it was your duty to advise us that there were some issues n needs attention. Neither the radiology department, nor the doctors told us anything in this regard. Even in the discharge summary, no advise was there to follow up or anything.
After a month, in July 16, they had visited for follow up, still doctor never advised to check up his liver, again in August he had visited for follow up, still the same casual attitude & negligence from your side and doctor never mentioned anything.
However my father's health started deteriorating with weight loss, loose motion, stomach ache, body pain. We visited several doctors in sambalpur, bt only one doctor doubted with cancer and advised to go to Bhubaneswar for further CT scan.On 06.10.16 we conducted ultrasound and CT scan and it was confirmed that he has HCC liver cancer since long and hence all the symptoms.

Have you been little serious enough in your job and could have advised us regarding his issues with liver in the month of June, he would have been treated earlier when the disease was at early stage and would have been recovered by now. This is to inform you that he is in Bangalore now under treatment and is really in pain and situation is critical. Only the doctors in Bangalore told us that it was clearly there in the ultrasound dated 10.06.2016 and we have not treated it earlier. It was really a surprise for us to have heard this from them that the doctors in AMRI hospital are so casual and care a damn about the patient’s life. Now could you let us know that the who would bear the pain, the trauma, the expenses and the uncertainities we are going through right now. How could a institution like yours be such casual and negligent ??

I want a proper explanation from your side on gross negligence and this mail is only to warn you in advance before I take legal proceedings on your hospital.

Plz take this mail seriously else be ready for the consequences.

I am going to put these in Social Media, so that everyone should be aware and will continue to do so till I get any explanation from your side.

                    Regards,

                    Nibedita Tripathy

I booked an appointment with a psychiatrist at amri mukundapur through a phone call on 14 july 2016 at 11:39 am to see the doctor on 15 july 2016. i was asked to come over to the hospital between 1pm - 2pm.

I reached the hospital at 1:01pm and inquired about my appointment, but to my surprise, no one knew i had an appointment since i did not have the doctor's name (although they did note down my patient's name and mobile number). after running to multiple desks, i was asked to book an appointment with dr ayanangshu nayak. so 15 mins later i had an appointment. now i was asked to wait for the doctor in the waiting area. all this while, i had a senior citizen psychiatric patient sitting with me who was growing impatient. after 20 mins of waiting, i found out that the doctor was not even in the hospital. this was in-spite of the fact that i asked multiple times about the doctor's availability and everyone asserted that the doctor was available. now the patient was becoming aggressive and i could not convince her to wait but the hospital staff kept on insisting; asking us to wait and that the doctor was "nearby" and that there was some issue with his car that caused the delay. finally at 2:15 pm i decided to leave being unable to handle the patient for any longer. even at that time, the hospital staff kept on insisting that the doctor will be available shortly.

I would like to question the ethics and practices of the scheduling person who took down my details when i called, the hospital staff who lied to my face that the doctor was available and mostly of the doctor who kept on saying that "he was nearby". i have lost all respect for the amri institution as a whole and the doctor in particular who evidently, has no respect for an elderly patient.

The hospital staff did try to offer me tea or coffee to make the wait bearable but they did not empathize with the situation that they were dealing with a psychiatric patient. and yes, i was not offered a refund of the medical consultation fees and the registration fees.

I would consider this complaint to be resolved if the following conditions are met:
                      1. a written apology from the hospital with steps to ensure this does not happen in the future
                      2. a written apology from the doctor
                      3. full refund of the amount that i paid sent to me as i would not waste any more time in going to the hospital

This has in reference to my collection of Bed Head Ticket of my mother Syamali Chakraborty from medical records department and the experience thereof. I had applied for the Bed Head ticket on 28/01/15 to the MS, AMRI, SALT LAKE. I was received a call from concerned dept. few days later for the collection of the documents. But unfortunately my mother was passed away on 01.02.15 and due to rituals I could not able to collect it. When I visited the concerned dept.(1st fl, ahluwalia bldg) today (12.01.15) at 3-30pm the staff specially a tall thin elderly lady was very rudely spoken me. She was wearing a saree and was in hurry to leave. She asked why it takes so much time to receive the document and kept me waiting for a long time. She was disgraceful. My mental state is very down and depressed now a days so couldnt react. Im very sad in this incident. Such an experience is not at all expected from a reputable hospital and the word "customer care" gone for a toss. The details : Patient Id - SL00090621 Encounter Id[protected] Hopefully you will identify the concern lady and educate her how to behave with a person who had lost his mother few days back. thnanking you Soumitra Chakraborty [protected]
AMRI Hospitals customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
HbA1C charge of the hospital is higher (nearly double) than the charges being charged by peer hospitals and reputed laboratories in Kolkata.

THEY PUT MY DAUGHTER IN MORE ACUTE CONDITION AND NEXT DAY TOTAL COUNT REACHED 27000 VIDE
their report no:IPC2.0025855 Accession No:[protected] inspite of several request they didn't apply any antibiotics
for TWO DAYS at last on 9.7.10 Dr.prescribed Zanocin in morning and in the noon same day changed to Monocef
both the antiboitics did not response OWING TO THEIR UNWISE INTENTIONAL LATE DECISION though we vigorously
chased for higher grade of antibiotics.

                            2. On 08.07.2010 in morning USG of Whole Abdomen was carried out and INTENTIONALLY they did not report about
APPENDIX ( though we were told that thay have the latest calibrated machine which is very delicate to identify each
organ seperately FOR WHICH CHARGES ARE 4- 5 TIMES HIGHER THAN OTHER HOSPITAL)
they reported everything normal in Ultra Sonography.

                            3. On 09.07.2010 in morning CT SCAN of Whole Abdomen was carried out where the impression was not correct and
soon after completion I asked the radilogist about the scanning he told me that there is a huge problem in Uterus and
behaved very rudely saying that he had lot of personal problems so not to ask anything.

                            4. On 09.07.2010 all the Doctors Dr. Raja Roy (Medicine and Cardiologist ), Dr.Bikash Bhattacharyya( Paedetrician),
Dr. Abhijit Sarkar (Gastro )were singing in the same tone that there is a big operation accordingly Dr. Raja Roy
referred one surgeon Dr.Shankar Mitra. He came in afternoon and gave his verdict that it has to be operated but
NONE OF THEM CLEARED WHAT OPERATION AND HOW MUCH WILL BE REQUIRED. When I personally asked
Dr.Raja Roy about the expense.HE ADVICED ME TO ARRANGE MONEY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
                            5. WITHOUT OUR CONSENT THEY BOOKED OPERATION THEATRE IN THE NEXT DAY ON 10.07.2010 AT 11 AM
WHICH WE CAME TO KNOW WHEN ONE LADY ANESTHESIST CAME TO DRAW BLOOD ON 09.07.2010 IN THE
EVENING . WE ASKED HER WHY ARE YOU TAKING BLOOD FOR OPERATION WITHOUT OUR CONSENT SHE
HARSHLY TOLD IT IS OUR FORMALITIES .WE REQUESTED HER AGAIN AND AGAIN NOT TO TAKE BLOOD AS
WE HAD ALREADY TAKEN DECISION TO SHIFT THE PATIENT FROM THEIR TRAP.
THEY WERE VERY MUCH EAGER TO MAKE A BIG AMOUNT OF BILL INSPITE OF PROPER TREATMENT AND
NURSING.THEYCOMPELLED ME TO WRITE OWING TO FINANCIAL CONSTRAINT WE HAD TO SHIFT PATIENT.
THOUGH THE ORIGINAL PICTURE IS QUITE DIFFERENT. THEY WERE TRYING TO PUT IN TRAP FOR MONEY.
                            6. The Paedetrician Dr. Bikash Bhattacharya personally told my wife that it can be treated without operation if we shift
the patient to Peerless Hospital. However we shifted patient (my daughter) to Medica Superspeciality Hospital and

                            1. WE HAD TO WAIT TWO AND HALF HOURS IN EMERGENCY TO SHIFT THE PATIENT FROM EMERGENCY TO
PAEDIATRIC WARD THOUGH THE OLD BLDG.AND NEW BLDG. ARE VERY ADJACENT TO EACH OTHER
COORDINATOR TOLD THAT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE GOOD SERVICE.
                            2. IN THE WARD THERE IS NONE TO CHECK THAT AIR BUBBLE IS GOING ON THROUGH IV FLUID. EVERYTIME
THEY CLEARED THE BUBBLE AFTER NOTICING BY MY WIFE.
                            3. THERE IS NO COORDINATION IN BETWEEN THE DOCTORS AS A RESULT WE BECAME HELPLESS. EACH
ONE OF THEM CAME AND GAVE VERDICT THE NEXT ONE NULLIFIES THAT.

                            Hello,

Hope your daughter is well now. I completely understand the harrassment you went through. I had to face the same tactics for increasing of medical bill when i admitted my grandmother to AMRI Dhakuria. She expired after 1 week due to medical malpractices there. My family and I did not have the energy to pursue complaints, but I laud your effort here. People should be made aware of the treachery of AMRI medical practitionsers. By raising your voice here you are doing a greagt service to the community s well. Thank you.

These doctors are LEECH, suck hard earned money of common people. A very professional cheater. Of course, yes...not all doctors, still
                            some doctors are today "DOCTOR".

Ms. Mamata Banerjee has fingered to JUDICIAL practices...no idea truly, but she should put attention to this SPECIES & dishonest doctors need to be screwed.
Never visit to AMRI, They are not treating the patient but running a business, how to earn more and more money, REFERRING OTHER DOCTERS TO EARN MORE MONEY JOINTLY, my father died 5 months before because of Aplastic Anemia, But AMRI SUGGESTED SPECIALLY dR: sUJIT cHOWDHURY THAT HE IS SUFFERING FROM lIVER cIRHOSIS, AFTER ADMITTING FOR 7 DAYS WITH OUT ANY TREATMENT, LEAVE MY FATHER WITHOUT PRESCRIBING A SINGLE MEDICINE, TODAY I LOST MY FATHer.

I am not talking about the financial part every body knows that they are even not a theif but the dacoits.
My baba died beacause of wrong Diagonasis and no treatment by Sujit Chowdhury .

                              Address: West Bengal

My daughter BRISTI PAUL , age-6yrs, was admitted on 19/01/09 AMRI Hospital, Dhakuria, under Dr. Jayati Sengupta, Paediatrician. My daughter was diagnosed with Blood culture with PSEEUDOMONAS SEPTICAEMIA and Treatment was started with Inj. FORTUM from 22/01/09.and discharged on 27/01/09.

Again my daughter got high fever on 14/02/09 and advised by Doctor for Blood Test and again Blood culture report shows growth of PSEEUDOMONAS SEPTICAEMIA on 16/02/09.

On the same day I went immediately Chennai by flight and got admitted my daughter in Kanchi Kamakoti Childs Trust Hospital, Chennai. After thorough investigation by Dr. Janani Sankar, Paediatrician of KKCTH Blood culture report shows Growth of Samonella Typhi on 18/02/09.

After through treatment my daughter was discharged on 24/02/09 and still today she is absolutely o.k.

Now my question is whatever the high dose antibiotic treatment got my daughter in AMRI Hospital for wrong diagnosis for that who is responsible? Doctor or Pathology Dept. Or Hospital Management? Who will be responsible for that? What compensation I Expect from hospital? My total hospital bill was near about total of Rs 22518/-. please take my complain and inform me about my compensation for the harrasment and the wrong treatment applied to my daughter.
                              Thanking you

If you do not love and care your close persons or if you want to give lots of pain and agony to them then please somehow try to bring them to AMRI hospitals. Rest of the things will be taken care of by them. They were (main doctor was Arghya Mazumdar - the head killer) responsible to speed up death of my father even after spending INR 5 LACS. This is simply horrible.

Please do not take a decision to come over here. You will keep on repenting for the entire life. The behaviour of the staffs which includes Accounts, Nurses, Doctors are pathatic. The entire group is nothing but . Hope GOD will punish them.

                                  Dear All,

My father Mr. Arun Kumar Roy was admitted to AMRI Hospitals, dhakuria kolkata, with aspiratic pneumonia and sepsis according to their discharge summary, he was there for 25days spent mosty in ITU, NITU, HDU. This inhuman hospital management called my sister at her office that he is suffering from severe respiratory problem and needed to be under ventilation support otherwise he will expire, when they informed us they were not able to provide ITU service but pressurising continuously to give consent for ventilation support, but an hour spent almost while arranging their bed and my father was gasping for heaven sake he was admitted to NITU ward and provided with artificial respiratory support but he was alive then too.
