Yes, they did the similar thing to me when I moved from Bangalore to Delhi.
They have damaged 5 items (Fridge, TV Stand, Cot, Almirah, Sewing Machine) and they have not delivered 1 box.
When I try to contact Bangalore office, they do not pick the phone and when I contacted the Delhi office, the guy used foul language and threatened me.
I am shocked that I did business with such kind of people!

Exactly similiar experience. Worst time in recent days when I saw my expensive furniture damaged. They are very un professional, do not do promised work.

yes..Same is the case with DTC chennai also. They intentionally withhold the goods with them and say they were detained in interstate border.the staff is so arrogant and show least responsibility and care while moving the goods. I have incurred huge loss because of these ..

Packing at Delhi (on the agreed-upon date)
Three guys turned up. Packing was good, although I had to constantly tell them to use more bubble-wrap, as they were in a hurry to pack, and visit some other customer in Lajpat Nagar
Guys were insistent on Chai-pani. Paid them accordingly (apart from the official quotation)
Vinodh (marketing representative) was my contact point during the transition from Delhi to Bangalore. He told me I would get a call when the goods reach Bangalore.
Receivable at Bangalore
2 guys turned up, and unloaded the consignment. They told me to pay the remaining money upfront, and then insisted on unloading the goods at my house.
Out of the 26 consignments, I received only 25 (one cot was missing). They told me that they are just the unloading people. I was told that 2 other people from the company would come the next day, unpack all the things, and assemble everything. They told me that I would also get the missing cot.
Highly insistent on ‘chai-pani’ charges, at the time of leaving.
Present and Follow-ups
It has been 2 weeks, and inspite of regular follow-ups, I have not received the cot. During this period, I had to unpack all the stuff myself, and arrange it accordingly.
I had to personally arrange for carpenter in Bangalore, and assemble all my stuff. I went to their office in Sudama Nagar (as mentioned in their website), and was surprised that THERE DOES NOT EXIST ANY DTC office there.
During the period, I called up the following stakeholders:
Kuldip (Owner /Head ) (Phone - [protected]) – He was most cooperative. However, I have been able to reach out to him only twice. Most of the times, this number is in the hands of other people, who are uncooperative, and slam the phone on your face.
I told him that I would pay extra money for delivering the cot to my house. 2 weeks after deliverance, I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED MY COT

Damages - Crockery – 4 pieces broken, Steel Cupboard – Completely dented from behind, Sofa Set – in one of the pieces, the cloth has been torn from the front. In the main sofa, one leg is missing.
I thank my stars that TV, AC, Fridge was not broken or damaged. Otherwise, it would have been an even bigger loss for me. No inspection procedure from the company, no subsequent follow-ups.
My perception about the whole movers and packers thing, about being professional came crashing down. Even on my insistence on paying extra money, I have not received my cot.
Undoubtedly, MY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A COMPANY/BRAND/PRODUCT in my entire lifetime.

I am working in Air Force as a technician. Recently I have been posted from Delhi to Patna and booked my household goods and two motor cycles through dtc Cargo Packers and Movers (regd) on 03 May 2013. They have assured me that the items will be delivered within five days of time. While booking the items they have charged Rs/- 2000 towards insurance and didn't hand over or mail any insurance paper. The guy who had given the bill told me that insurance is o[censored]nited insurance company and will take two days time to get the policy letter. As I have shifted from Delhi to Patna on 06 May 13, I am not able to follow up the status of company in Delhi. Moreover they started threatening me by saying that 'tumhara item kabhi nahi pahunchega..humne sab jaala diya..tumhe jo karnaa hai karo'. I have again tried to contact them using my friend circle in Delhi but of no use. I am suffering here in Patna because of non-availability of my household goods and motor cycle. I feel very pathetic about the existance of this type of companies who cheat the people like this. i am praveen sharma from lucknow. i have shifted my house hold goods from Faridabad to Chennai from M/S Dtc Cargo Movers and packers on 17/7/2013.Quotation given by Dtc Cargo movers and packers for shifting household goods was Rs.855165/-.It was the highest quotation among all i got from other transporter.Inspite of High quotation i choose Dtc Cargo Movers and packers because of brand name.At the time of dealing it was finalised that they will give me a discount of Rs.15000/- in this Amount.from very first day i was dealing in Delhi office with Mr.Kuldeep Sharma(DGM relocations)-[protected]. I transferred my House Hold (Rs of 2.5 Lakes Rs.) from Gurgaon to Bangalore..As per their promise they were suppose to get the payment as "TO PAY" while delivering the goods at Bangalore and deliver it within 6 days. As I did not receive my things, I asked them. They replied I should pay all the amount which is 8, 0000. I deposited the required amount of 80, 000 in ICICI Bank. They said it will be delivered in 5 day..It has been 4 hour days since I paid the money..still I am not getting my belongings. They are telling that all the roads are blocked on the way to Bangalore. But I got to know that nothing is like that..Whenever I called dtc people at Gurgaon as well as Delhi, they are extremely rude and not ready to understand customer's problem. I have never seen such a people in my life. They do not adhere to their promise and I believe Dtc cargo packers and movers in the Bangalore..It has been sent my belongings since 13 days, Yet to receive my things. I still have not received the full items & many of my household items that I have received were damaged during transit. My crockery is all broken & my expensive furniture is all scratched. I have not received my Insurance copy still, for which I have paid for "All risk cover".
The main contact person is Kuldeep Sharma & his numbers are [protected], [protected] & he works from Delhi.
I would like to bring the transporter to court and solve this amicably.
I also want to complain about just dial (phone number[protected] services, they have given me the reference of this movers & packers company. They should do some kind of background check befor passing the reference to their dialers.
Please advice.

Now I have received 40 packages out of total 45 in 3 different deliveries (25 + 12 + 3) in the span of 30 days. Still 5 items which consists of 4 cartons & 1 lamp remains undelivered. The cartons which remains contains my kitchen stuff (including cooking gas stove, expensive crockery etc), cloths, shoes, toiletries stuff, perfumes etc.
I am giving you 2 more days to deliver the above mentioned items otherwise I’ll inform police & open a case in consumer forum.

I don’t understand why this happening to me & what in the earth I have done to deserve all this.
It’s close to 20 days now. I’ll only wait till this weekend & after that I’ll take a strong action.

I have given my household luggage to Kuldeep Sharma on 27th March 2013 to be transported to Bangalore from Noida by dtc cargo packers. It is scheduled to reach Bangalore in 6 days time i.e. on 1st April but till date I haven’t received it. I have already paid the full amount and in spite of that nobody from the dtc team is picking my calls. Currently I am staying in the hotel & because of the delay I have incurred additional expenses from my pocket.
Please take this complaint seriously & deliver my luggage ASAP.

Hi,
I (Abhishek Raj) would like to bring to your notice that I have recently shifted from Gurgaon to Pune on the 11th Aug'13. I got all my house hold items and Car bboked through "Dtc Cargo Packers and movers pvt Ltd, Gurgaon". They initially quoted me a price of Rs. 32000 incl all. Once they came to my place for final packing and shifting on the 8th Aug'11, after all the items were packed and loaded for delivery from my house, they said that there is a separate charge of Insurance of the house hold items and Car(Maruti Suzuki SX4) and a service charge. Hence, the Grand total came to be Rs. 44200 incl all. They said that they would send the Insurance documents to me the next day i.e. 16th Jan, which was not delivered and advised me that it will be handed over to me upon delivery of the house hold items in Pune. They finally delivered all the items to me in Pune on the 15th Aug'13. BUT, as per their prior promise that they would send their staff to UNPACK and ARRANGE all the delivered items AND WOULD HAND OVER THE INSURANCE PAPERS, there was no one to do so and only the driver and few other guys on the truck helped in shifting the all the house hold items to my flat AND NO DOCUMENTS OF INSURANCE WAS HANDED OVER TO ME. Please note that all the items were only deliered to me without any unpacking. At that moment I could only manage to find out that there was an LPG Gas Cylinder of Bharat Gas was missing from the list that we had prepared for all the items. To which, I gave them a receiving stating that "1 GAS CYLINDER IS MISSING AND THERE IS NO ONE TO UNPACK THE ITEMS, HENCE I WOULD NOT CONSIDER THIS A COMPLETE DELIVERY".
Later in the day, only me and my wife were left in the house with all the items to be unpackked, I kept on calling this movers n packers guy in Gurgaon asking him to send someone for our help, as we are new in Pune and have no idea of the place at all. He was of no help and kept saying that he would arrange someone to visit my place and help us in unpacking. BUT no one came untill today. We started to open the items our own, one by one and the next day, we were SHOCKED to know that, all the glasswares were broken, the Fridge has a big dent in the front door, photoframes were broken, and to top it all when the Cable guy came in install the LCD (SONY BRAVIA 32 INCHES), WE FOUND THAT THE LCD PANEL WAS COMPLETELY BROKEN FROM INSIDE AND NO EFFECT FROM OUTSIDE. Upon which I called up the packers guy again in Gurgaon to inform and he was saying that YOU ARE INTIMITAING HIM AFTER TWO DAYS OF DELIVERY, TO WHICH I COULD NOT REALLY HAVE ANY ARGUMENT, AS MY CAR IS YET TO BE DELIVERED, AND I am afraid of facing any further problems with that. MY CAR HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED YET, I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING WITH HIM ON DAILY BASIS. HE DOES NOT PICK UP MY CALLS ALSO, I HAVE TO KEEP CALLING HIM 20 - 30 TIMES A DAY TO SPEAK TO HIM.

I searched for Packers and movers from Hyderabad to Bangalore on Sulekha,
which is very quick to respond with relevant businesses.
A person from DTC Cargo with name J*** C****** called as if he was doing world class service and said all fruity things.
He said he would arrange my goods relocation for Rs. 8500/- and delivery will be on next day.
I agreed and confirmed. On shifting day 3 guys came and started packing.
One guy with novice packing knowledge, Damaged refrigerator (Later I have spent around Rs 4000/- to repair it after reaching BLR).
When I said you damaged like this, while packing, they aggresively said it will be fine.
They packed some how and billed me Rs 12500/- with taxes and so called not earlier explained charges.
So if they say Rs.10000/- be prepared for a 50% more that is Rs 15000/- . Now after 2 days I called him as there was no delivery,
he revealed the secret, that they have transported the good in trucking company and bangalore guys was responsible
and they don't own any inter-city transport of their own. They delivered it one day late that too at night 10.00PM after repeated calls from me for whole day.
This bangalore guys itself said they are different entity from HYD team and they take goods from trucking company.
I don't know why they call themselves as door-door company. All Lies. Its all crap. They don't have any full vehicles of their own.
All they say is to grab order. Later you are treated like as if they are doing some great favour for you, and customer is some below poverty line poor fellow.
One worst thing is once the goods are sent from HYD the **** guy from hyd don't even answer the calls or reply to message.
I rated 1 star because I can't rate any less. NEVER NEVER go for this packers and movers

Thank You Very Guys for sharing your valuable experience. I had decided to go for them from Noida to Bangalore but after reading this - i have decided not to go for this.

Mr Amit aka Kudeep Sharma ([protected]) had cheated us and gave us several stories on the reason why our Furniture delivery was being delayed.
Calls to their numbers go unanswered and unreturned. They will NOT provide contact numbers of their truck drivers for us to verify current location.
Furniture delivered was not assembled by their team, even though we were 'forced' to pay a Unloading & Re-Assembly charge.
Sofa set, LCD Tv and paintings destroyed. Sofa set even has foot prints and hand impressions on them.
When we sent official complaint to the company, Mr Sharma sent a 'few' men to our Delhi residence to pick up documents. Instead, these Men harrased and threathened our Mother and would not leave her apartment complex.
Insurance Papers seemed real, but when we followed through with claim, Insurance agent claims the insurance is for Maritime Policy only, and the company took out the insurance cover as a Maritime Policy.
