Fenesta Windows — Not supplied windows ,even after full payments 2months back
Fenesta windows have not been delivered since 2months after full payment has been given and no one informs us as to when we will get them.they are making a fool o[censored]s and i think the dealer kishori metal industries is abig fraud. Some action should be taken against them and my windows should be delivered. Dear Ms. Rupaly,

I am from Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu and I totally agree with Vinod. I had been through similar experience. It has been more than 3 weeks since my first contact with Fenesta and I have not even received the quote despite several followup calls. I am disappointed so much that finally today I dropped the idea and have contacted other UPVC guys in the market. Unlike Vinod, I am in a way happy that my agony is over. If the others (LG and VEKA) also did the same thing, I would eventually settle with traditional wood windows. By the way my house requires almost 750sft of windows and doors and many skylight windows (yes...you read is correct...skylight windows) and I received such a worse treatment from Fenesta.
Fenesta seems to riding high on its branding - they are facing tough competition in the market. There is an interesting case study done here

They claim to be cheaper than wood - but that is not the case. For equivalent wood windows and villa windows from Fenesta they are 20-25% expensive than wood !!
Now why would someone go with Fenesta - they need to be at least 10-15% cheaper than wood to make it worthwhile for people to consider.

Fenesta (Gurgaon, Haryana) is totally mismanaged & is full o[censored]ntrustworthy & insensitive bunch of crooks. They give the worst possible buying experience to the customers. In my case, (1) they didn't supply the material on time (2) When they finally delivered, didn't tell me that items are not complete (3) Got my existing windows removed and fitted window without part of the glass fixed (4) This resulted in the main door remaining open for 4-5 days (5) I was made to run from pillar to post (6) No one knows the complete picture - whether material is ready or not or when it would be delivered etc (7) Most often they don't respond to customer's desperate phone calls (8) By chance if you are able to catch hold of anyone, one can expect nothing but a vague reply (9) They talk nice with (false) assurances - but please note that this is only lip service (10) They ensure that customer is kept confused and keeps cursing himself as to why he fell into this trap.
Unfortunately I got into this trap & bought few windows recently but I sinserely advise against opting for this company - Especially in Gurgaon.
Still if you want to try your luck, few tips :
(a) Keep atleast 10% payment to be made after satisfactory installation. They insist on 100% payment before delivery but if you comply with this, probably God also can't save you from their clutches
(b) Their security glass may have waviness.. Which cannot be accepted by anyone after spending so much money. But they shamelessly claim that waviness is not guaranteed... My question is if waviness cannot be ensured, then what's the difference between Fenesta and a road side company ? Why pay such a premium to these cheats ?

I wish I had seen through the comments on Fennesta customer (sic) ILLTREATMENT before I placed the order. This relates to my order for windows in my apartment located in Bangalore. Fennesta does not want to deal directly with customers. In my area, their agent is Magal Enterprises, Jayanagar. These fellows will run after you till you do the mistake of making payments and promise you the sky till then after that it is a magic disappearing act. I have been talking to Magal enterprises since 2nd May 2013. They sent persons for measurement who are at best careless and incompetent. After two to three corrections in the measurements, they gave me a final quote. As I was about to make the payment, they said some MS sections under their supervision will need to be installed which will be at additional cost. This started another round of haggling and a final order was signed up. I made the payment on 22 May. Magal enterprises then promised to get the MS work done the next day which did not happen for various lame excuses given to me only after I follow up with them. The work is done by a contractor who claims to have received instructions from Magal Enterprises whose supervisor was meant to be at site but did not feel it necessary to come.
Then came the Great Fennesta Lord Engineer with fancy measuring equipment and said the MS work was not wide enough and needs to be extended. After discussions, I told them to cut the mesh section which was to be installed besides the windows so that they do not need to redo the MS work again at huge inconvenience to me. This was on 1st June. I had requested that since I am expecting guests in July 1st week, they should complete the job latest by 3rd week of June. The Magal rep assured me that Fennesta is always before time and my request will be accomodated.
I had expected Magal/Fennesta to keep me informed of the status which never happened till 1st July. I rang up Magal E asking for the status and one Ms Madhuri informed that they will get back to me in 10 minutes. This never happened for 3 hours. I wrote a complaint online through the quick contact button on the Fennesta web page. I got a call from Fennesta Gurgaon asking for details already provided in my complaint. In anycase they said they will revert to me in 24 to 48 hours. After 5 days, I am still waiting for Fennesta Gurgaon to give a status or respond to my complaint. In the meanwhile, Ravi Magal of Magal E called to say that the windows were meant to be delivered to me on 1st July (which it appears now was a LIE). He tried to wash his hands off saying it was for Fennesta to complete the order and they were only the agents. I told him that it was Magal E who took the cheque and I hold them responsible for the order. He said he will get back to me in 10 minutes (this was around 3 PM on 2nd July. His 10 minutes seem to be very long and I am yet to hear from him.
In the meanwhile not getting a response from Fennesta Gurgaon to my complaint dated 2nd July, I sent another reminder again on 4th July through the Quick Contact on Fennesta website. I am yet to get a respond.

Fenesta appears to be poor in delivery schedule so far I have experienced. The had assured a delivery & installation with in 30 days but it is more than 60 days without with no delivery in sight. They had been assuring to deliver & install within a week every time I call them. I can not say how I shall feel after these are installed.

I can understand the concern raised by you. In fact i would suggest you should have hired an architect to help you out with the drawings of all the windows and then place the order to fenesta.

I contacted Fenesta about a month and no one responded to my web enquiry even though I had provided my cell number. After calling again a man showed up after a few days. These sliding windows are super expensive, in the range of Rs 1, 000 to Rs 1, 500 per square foot and the customer service was way below average. The man who showed up was in a big hurry to leave and took me to a showroom at Tardeo at around 1 p.m. that had its shutter down, he had to unlock and open it, I found this strange. The sample windows there on display were dirty, they were not cleaned, I found a dead fly and dirt in the tracks. He promised a quote the next day but never called. I had to make several calls to get in touch with him. He has promised to give me quote this coming Monday.
The sliding windows have very thick PVC borders on the frame supporting the windows, a few inches thick as compared to aluminium windows.
My main interest in approaching Fenesta was that is a DCM company which is a large group and am expecting high quality from them even though it is several times the price. Will keep you posted on how it goes.

Good place for advertising
Stay away from this company. They are very expensive. But their windows shatter into bubbles when it is very hot outside and AC is on inside. This has happened twice in my house. And these things are not covered by their warranty. Expensive company that gives substandard and low quality products.

Finesta is one of the worst company one can come across after taking entire money in advance they treat the customer like someone asking for credit and they don't have any commitment even after confirming a order for a colour they changed the colour despite giving a sample colour and then don't even except the fault and moreover their sales guy Mr. Dipti got signatures done on a blank form stating it to be for the measurements and then filled all wrong colour and design which has spoilt my House looks and rather than taking action against him the officials are not bothered and delaying the project which has already taken 4 months despite a assurance of 28 days it is shocking to deal with such a company GOD will only give them punishment for giving such service to customers as there is no agency which can take action against them in our country.

I trusted Fenesta because they claimed to be a DCM-subsidiary but my trust was obviously misplaced. Green Building Concepts, their dealers in Mumbai, have no scruples. Complaints directly to Fenesta on their website were never acknowledged. Results ensued only after serving a legal notice.
