I am Senthil from Chennai, own a fiat grande punto 1.4 (Registration number: TN10 Y 3508) Engine no:7013232 & Chassis no:MCA118A5C07003349GPZ) since November 26 , 2009.
I bought this premium hatchback just for quality and i am frustrated to the core now. There has been repeated complaints and this car is really not dependable. Car spends more time in workshops than with me. The very purpose of owing a car turns to be a question mark now ???
February 2011 - 1 week in service station - Concorde motors ,Ambattur.
Complaint : Faulty AC, Broken Sensor.
March 2011 - 1 week in service station - TAFE REACH, Greams road
Complaint: Engine mounting bolt broken
May 2011: - In service station since 2 days - TAFE REACH, Greams road
Complaint: Wheel bearing and hub damaged.
FIAT customer care & service team has been informed about these thru email and telephone. All i got was car is inspected 100% and no such failures will happen in future, but failures keep happening even after assurance and inspection.
Problem like engine mounting bolt failure and wheel hub damanges are life threat issues. FIAT is not replacing the car and insists me to use this car.....who will stand gurantee for my life. I need a long term solution for this.....
I have evidence of proper service and emails to FIAT informing the complaint and also assurances from FIAT.

my fiat punto has inherent defect of very very poor pickup on second gear in car, making this a complete package of frustration .
fiat is also not responding to my complaint, just saying you should have noticed this before buying the car.
