I had purchased a new Fiat Palio Diesel SDX 1.3 Multijet on 1st October 2008, till now the car has run about 23200 kms approx. While getting the 4th srvice done , i had complained about problem in the Gear getting engaged, upon which Wasan Motors (Chembur, Mumbai, from where the car was purchased) diagnosed it for Clutch problem.They said that the Clutch assembly will be replaced under warranty. The car has been laying in their workshop for the last 10 days, still they have not procured the spare part. They say that they have placed an order with the Fiat Ranjangaon plant & they are not responding. I am a business man & need to move around every day.The unavailability of the car has crippled my business & also causing personal health problems.
Earlier when the car was hardly 1&1/2 months old, its Powersteering pump had failed which had to be replaced under warranty & took around 12 days to do so. I have also complained about an hazy headlight which is still to be attended.With so many problems in the new car, its hard to beleive, even a second hand vehicle would have fared much better than this.
Does any body in Fiat / Tatamotors take note of this???????.Its seems we have been fooled. Was this information helpful? |
