I had purchased a FIAT PUNTO (emotion Pk) from Ambala CSD and was very happy to be a proud owner of the car. One Sunday morning i found my front wheel flat and tried to open the wheel to take it for repair. To my surprise the wheel was locked tight and i could not open it. I called up the 24/7 assistance provided by the company to me. To my horror all the phones listed in chandigarh were not picked up by anyone. Ultimately I called the Fiat Assistance and was informed to wait for a while before someone is sent to me. I kept waiting for over an hour and then called again. I got the same reply. Ultimately after about 4 hours I was told that the Fiat can get my car towed to the nearest service centre and it will be attended to on monday morning. The reason for not being able to send the assistance was given as... "today being a Sunday all mechanics are on leave and the company will be able to attend to my car only on Monday. Till then it can be towed to the nearest service centre and deposited there. WHAT a shame.... I did not pay for the assistance to hold my car for ransom of some kind....This is no way of working and an absolute illogical work culture. What happened to the tall promises made during the time when the same 24/7 assistance scheme was being sold to me..... How to i get my money's worth from the company... its absolute cheating in this case.... Was this information helpful? |
