[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Credit Card — Hidden/ Undisclosed Charges Levied and False Commitments Made

I have been charged an annual fee of ICICI Bank Credit Card for 2nd year which was undisclosed to me as it was committed that its a free of cost charge we are providing to you as a valued customer.

Also, I have contacted CCE on[protected] regarding the reversal of annual charges, He left me with a fraud commitment that if you shop out for Rs. 5,000/- this month the levied charges will be reversed in the next generating bill. Which was not provided as per their commitment besides my shopping for more than Rs. 5,000/- during the last month.

So, I again contacted today the customer care desk and explained the issue to the concerned CCE (That no annual fee reversal has been provided to me) but left with no response instead of multiple excuses. Having no positive approach to the concern, the CCE then transferred the call to higher authority, who has amazed me with the most shocking words "THAT WE DID NOT LODGE/ FILE YOUR COMPLAINT, AS WE LODGE COMPLAINTS FOR OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS ONLY". Worth noting that I am using ICICI Bank Credit card for the last 5-6 years even though I am not being a valued customer.

How shameful is this for the most reputed ICICI Bank and their authorities that they greet and treat their customers like this besides levying the undisclosed and hidden charges in many ways.

ICICI Bank — annual charge add in bill

I was awarded a credit card by your bank in the year 2003 and the facilities were enjoyed by me with immediate effect. The payment for the utilized portion was paid as per the terms and conditions without any delay. In addition to that while issued the credit card I was informed that there will be no annual charges will be deducted. But when I gone through the statement of account, I was shocked to note that the bill for the Month from (July 22 – Aug 21, 2004) the amount of Rs.750/- towards annual charges and Rs.60/- on account of Service tax was deducted. Immediately I brought the matter into your Customer care Centre, Hyderabad. They convinced me and confirmed that the amount will be reversed immediately. Subsequently, they have allotted the HP Card. Everything in this connection was already conveyed to you through my letter dated 02.11.2005 addressed to Mumbai Branch. But so far, I have not received any proper reply for the same.

In situation, recently your Credit Card Collection Department staffs visited my office namely (Mr.Dinesh, Mr.Antony and Mr.Ebi) and threghtened me to remit the said all charges as on date, otherwise, they will bring some other recovery agencies and also confirmed how to collect it.

Now I request your goodselves to go through my track record from the inception or the day one and may come to know that still there will not be any outstanding on my credit side and my card already having excess Rs.460.00. So I request your goodselves to take suitable action and have a solution tome. Otherwise, I was forced to take further legal and disciplinary action, on them. Expecting your patronage at all the times to come, All the respective papers are enclosed for your reference.

Credit Card — Annual Charges Levy

Respected Sir / Madam,

I am reffering to the Cr. Card which I posses on the above name.. DOB 14/09/1963, Mumbai. When I applied for Cr. Card in the year 2006 I was told that its life time free card where I dont have to pay Annual Renewal Charges. After which I have applied for the Cr. After complition of 1year the card was renewed and I was sent another card Exp date is 07/13. In the year 2007-08 in the month of July I recd a statement where Annual Fees were levy and which I objected and didn't pay as it was told to me this card is life time free. After long discussion for almost 3 months later the Statement was reviewd and was re-sent to me by giving cr. of the dues that is annual fess and late fees. Now, again in the month of Aug'08 I recd statement with annual charges levy. I am paying my Cr. card payment deducting the same and also penalty charges levy for non making payment towards the balance dues.
You are therefore requested to please look into the matter and reverese the annual charges alongwith the late payment fees immediately and send me the fresh statement duly with squaring outstanding dues. So to enable me to keep my accounts uptodate.
If this matter is not resolved once for all than treat this letter as cancellation of my Cr. Card with immediate effect.
You are also requested to please tell ur tele caller people not to give reminders call to any customer at un-appropriate time thats is at 2.pm, 3.pm or3.30pm on holidays as they are disturbing the privacy of customers. The contact no which are given while filling up the form doesn't mean that someone should call anybody at an un-appropriate time.

ICICI Credit Card — Charges not reversed

ICICI bank had heavily charged me for a delay in monthly payments. It was not a deliberate delay and this was the first time as well.
Upon enquiring with ICICI, they came back with 50% reduction in interest and late fee charges, I was not happy with just 50% reduction and had asked for a full reversal.
Couple of days later, I received 2 SMSs from ICICI Credit Card division on my mobile about full reversal of charges on my credit card. But the reality is, they just did 50% reduction in charges though SMS read something different.

I am not happy with such a misleading message from a responsible bank. The SMSs I have received clearly mentions the entire amount of interest & late fee and associated service tax being reversed.

Dear Sir/ Madam,



Sub: DEMAT account not opened within the specified timeline given to me.



This mail is to inform you that I requested for DEMAT account opening in ICICI Bank (Kalyani Nagar, Pune) on 04-Nov-09 and I was told that my DEMAT account will be get activated within 10 working days.



Today is 20-Nov-09 i.e. 13 working days are already over and still my DEMAT account has not been activated and neither the ICICI employees have the courtesy to let their customer know for the delay.



Even after the delay, I called up Mr. Manit Kumar to get the status of my application and then I also spoke with his superiors about the same concern and now they said that another 4 working days will be required to get all the things done.



ICICI charges highly to their customers saying that ICICI provides the best and quick service. This is the kind of service that I have received from the ICICI Bank.



When I spoke with Mr. George that I will lodge this issue in the Consumer Court, they didn’t even bothered for the same as if they are not afraid of anyone.



I have wasted lot of my precious time to catch hold of these people and also I have made so many unwanted calls to these people for my application status.



I would request you look into this matter and take strict action against ICICI bank for mental harassment and wasting my time.

all the dues as per statement dated Dec, 19, 2008 for Rs. 102.16 for credit card no. [protected] were paid inJan 2009 vide cheque for rs. 102/- along with the damaged credit card, but the statements with late payment fees are being sent again and again. Pl look in to the matter.

ICICI Bank — CREDIT CARD FALSE ISSUE

I HAVE NEVER ISSUED ANY LETTER REGARD TO CREDIT CARD FOR ICICI BANK,BUT SUDDENLY I CALL CAME AND ASKED ME TO PAY RS 75,000,AS OF OUSTANDING AMOUNT ,BUT I ARRIVED TO LOCAL BRANCH OF ICICI BANK I WAS STRNGE TO HEAR THAT THEY HAVE ISSUED ON MY NAME WITH FALSE ADRESS PROVERB.BUT STILL NOW ISSUE HAVE BEEN NOT RESOLVED.

ICICI Bank — FALSE BILL FOR CREDIT CARD

I DO NOT OWN ANY CREDIT CARDS FROM ANY BANK.BUT TODAY A FALSE BILL FROM ICICI BANK HAVE REACHED MY HOME BY POST DEMANDING RS.37.80.WHEN I DO NOT OWN ANY CREDIT CARD OF THE STATED BANK THEN WHY ARE THESE FALSE BILLS SENT TO ME HARASSING ME.
