Dear sir,

My Card No. [protected]

I am using your Icici bank credit card last 9 years, I never failed in making of payment of Credit cards, in past transaction you can see my payment status, even if before a statement recd I have paid well in advance, for example you just see my last statement due date I was not present in my home also I have recd a statement from You as on 12/12/2008 so first time I could not paid Rs.200/-in time for tata sky payment.
so I would request you to please waive of this delay payment charges as I am valuable customer coninued since 9 years with ICICi credit card service. sir, also one request to you that I have not recd a New card from your side as it was 03/05 to 03/09.
sir please avoid unnecessary communication with U and favouring to my side please waive of this amount Rs. 503.10/ I have paid your Rs. 199.00 as on 22/12/2008 by Hdfc cheque.

credit card 407651204222802 — late pyment charges

Dear sir,

My name is biresh biswas i am using your credit card fom last two years my credit card no is [protected] i havent recived the statement and you are putting the late payment charges i dont know why i am reglarly paying my creit card bill even though you are putting late payment charges i am waiting for your prompt reply please do the needfull...

I am a credit car holder, I am not receiving the credit card bill reqularly, due to which late fee is levied on late fee along with sevice tax and interest charged. Sir, i never been failed to pay the bill of card. but now due to non receipt of bill to me, the payment was not made on time. However, i my self paid Rs.1500 though cheque without receipt of bill. I request that the late fee and other charges leveid may be waived off. thanks

    ICICI BANK CREDIT CARD STATEMENT

    Sir,
    It is to inform you that my father Dr. Purshotam Goklani died on 27/05/2008. He was retired from Regional Officer for Health & F.W. a Central Govt. Dept. After my father's death and during such period when we all were passing through a bad patch, I received a notice u/s 143(2) of I.T. Act, 1961 from Income Tax Department for the F.Y. 2005-06 on 05/08/2008. I am surprised and shocked, in the notice they demanded statements...

    I would introduce myself as one of the Indian who has done a life time blunder by taking the "ICICI Home Loan". I have never seen such a greedy bank in my entire life. ICICI is the perfect modern example of the earlier sahukars which treat borrowers as servant and let them dies slowly. This bank made his own policies and procedures and dont care about the RBI and the government. The activities of the management are to treat the borrowers as bonder labor and cheat them with the higher lending rates. There floating rates can be best termed as "Forwarding Rates" which moves in one direction i.e. Northwards. I share my example with you all:

    I took a home loan of around [protected]@9% (20 lakhs) in September 2006. At that time HDFC was offering me the 9.5%. I choose ICICI over HDFC just to save couple of thousand rupees towards processing charges. Then started the fastest and the steepest process of increasing the rates for the exisiting borrowers:

    Feb 2007 - 50 basis point
    Apr 2007 - 100 basis point
    May 2007 - 100 basis point
    July 2008 - 75 basis point
    Sep 2008 - 75 basis point

    Now my lending rate is at 13% even after RBI cuts the CRR by 350 bp and Repo rate by 250 bp (As on Dec 22). In some cases the loan tenure is increased from 20 to 40 years. You can find lots of blogs on the internet. I have completely lost my faith in ICICI bank and there products.

    The ICICI management is misguiding not only the people of India but also the Media, RBI and Govt, they only speaks that we'll reduce the rates but they are never delivering it. Everytime they says we are watching the liqudity situation and review the rates later on, they are just diverting the attention of public and passing the time. I dont understand how many years this bank require to watch the liqudity situation. Almost all the banks have lowered there lending rates. Even the Chanda Kochar said in one of the interview that the cost of funds are same for all the players of the industry..then why they are not reducing the rates. This is because ICICI has linked all the Home Loans to the PLR and they dont want to loose the huge interest income by reducin it. Irony is that despite so much crook activities, the media gives so such attention to ICICI bank and never expose there cheat activities. They are lowering the rates for the new customers just to trap them and harass them later on as we are facing now.

    I sincerely request on behalf of all the Indians like me to save us from ICICI bank. RBI/Govt please ask the public sector banks to take over the existing home loans of ICICI bank.

    ICICI Home Loan - A Sillent killer .The informations furnished are perfectly correct. What the RBI and Finanace Ministers (P.Chidambaram) are doing.They never bother about citizen. They bother and care only about ICICI Bank rather than PSU Banks and citizens.Please spread this news to every one of the citizen and encourge PSU Banks and never opt for ICICI Bank / any other private bank.

      My Credit Card No. [protected]. The transaction done after the date when we complained for stolen of the card and block it.

      As per your letter dated 2-Sep-08, Ref. No. 082308/307964C. You are not reversing the unauthorized Transactions as per my request no. SR77107696.

      We need the copy of transaction slips which you are saying that made by me as indicated in the request no. SR 77107696 .

      Looking forward for your reply and co-operation Else I will not make any payment.

        Hi All,

        I have raised for settlement of my credit card with ICICI in Oct-08

        But then after no response and hence i wrote to the nodal officer on 31/10/08 and their response was on 10-Nov-08

        Actually the concern person has not contracted me and i was not able to get him on air every time you will able to listen tamil dailer tone.

        Again i have consistenly remainded nodal officer regarding the same through mail but no responce.

        Finally on Dec-4-08 i have received call from rateesh from [protected] and he has promised me to close the issue in few days and added ha said that he is working one card to make it has ZERO and other card with can be closed with lesser than 10000. because ICICI has deducted 50000 rupees from my saving account with out my notice which was gather from my friend and my salary for my mother health related issue. But nothing has turned up i was kept waiting.

        Beside all this happening ICICI has deducted 50000 rupees from my saving account with out my notice which was gather from my friend and my salary for my mother health related issue.

        At last on 22-DEC-08 i have recived from collection ([protected] meenakshi and prakash) asking me to pay 12, 000 for one card and 6000 for other card but the actual i have used is 46000 putting both together.

        If i am able to afford the same why i will be waiting so long, from september i am consistenly requesting bank people to help me but no one actually came forward.

        I have esclated this issues many time but no responses. The bank has cheated the trust which i was having on them, i am not a bad person but the situvation from may-08 has turned into biggest financial crises ever for any youngster aged 23 years. I was ready to pay the bank people my principel amount and consitenly followed but no response.

        I need justice and i want to highlight the society donot come the words of bank people because thier will say something but their will no keep up their words because few people called me we will resolve dont worry but no one turned up.

        No words i lost everthing last 6 months but these bank people are sucking my blood and blocked my saving account to suck my salary even more.

        NOTE: ICICI people i has a customer coming forward to pay my dues but no one is ready to help me this is why ICICI is falling down every day. But you people has caption stating "Satisfing customer needs", my humble request is not to use these caption if you people are not ready to provide services.

          Dear Sir,

          I am an ICICI Bank customer for the last 3 years and I have been offered a credit card from ICICI, initially I was not interested but they suggessted me don't use it just keep it, so I got the card. But once I received the card I have been called by ICICI Chennai and they says " we selected you as a lucky winner from ICICI Newcredit card holder list, you can withdraw Rs. 2.5 Lakhs and can be repaid within 36 months without any interest. You purchase Lambord policies for your family and you will get Rs.25000 per policy as cash gift by the middle of February 2008".

          They told me that all these information you will get in written within 55 days but 90 days over I have not received yet.

          They themselves given my family member details and sent the policy within 3 days and they are deducting Rs.6000 + as EMI every month. Just imagine paying Rs.75000 as medical policy for one family is totally illogical. I am not a land lord just I am a monthly salaried guy. How could I pay out these amount.

          Now I realized that I have been cheated by ICICI Credit card staffs. I wanted to cancel all the policies and I want to return my credit card immediately. You are requested to provide me the address where I can send this card.

            Dear Sir,

            This is to inform you that my father Sri. Surya Kumar Malpani, Son of Late Rameshwarlal Malpani, opened a current account being no.[protected] in the name of his firm ‘Cell Hub’ with the Siliguri Branch of ICICI Bank Limited. My father is physically handicapped and is suffering from permanent disability of 75%. I look after his business.

            We had business transaction with said bank from June 2006 to September 2007. But eventually we had to stop banking transactions due to various irregularities and deficiency in service along with offences committed by the bank officials.

            On 12th July 2006, an amount of Rs.40, 000/- was deposited and the said amount was duly credited in the account. However, subsequently an amount of Rs.100/- was debited from the account with a remark Short Tender. On enquiring about the matter, the Branch Manager told that the money deposited was less by Rs.100/-. There were few such other instances in that month where money deposited were credited to the satisfaction of the branch and then certain amounts were debited on such baseless pretext. On 16.09.2006 an amount of Rs.3, 50, 000/- was deposited and the same was accepted by the bank and thereafter duly credited. However later on it was found that a debit of Rs.100/- was made on the ground of ‘Forged Note’. The account was debited only after accepting the cash to their satisfaction and crediting the same in the account. None of the fake currency notes or mutilated notes as claimed by the Bankers were ever shown to us or returned. By the month of November 2006 an amount of Rs.3, 500/- was debited from the account after making due credit entries.

            On 18.12.2006 a letter was issued to the Bank requesting him to return the currency notes with sufficient evidence that the same were tendered by us. After a long wait of few months nothing was done but the illegal debits were being carried on. When asked about the same, Sri Amit Dalmia the then Branch Manager told that the officer in the counter is so busy that he cannot check the authenticity of each note so it was sorted later. It was pointed to him that once any cash is deposited in a bank, and the same is credited to the account, any discrepancy regarding those currency notes cannot be brought up later. If anything has to be objected regarding the currency notes being deposited, it has to be done at the counter itself. Moreover we requested him to return or at least show the impugned currency note with the proof that it was deposited by us. On hearing this Sri Amit Dalmia became furious and told us to leave in an insulting way and stated that he knows banking more than us. Many of the debits after depositing money and crediting the same was made on grounds of torn/mutilated notes. But the fact remains that none of such notes as claimed by the Branch Manager Sri Amit Dalmia was detected and objected at the counter.

            On 26th July 2007 an amount of Rs.1000/- was debited on the pretext of “FAKE NOTE 500*1 / 100*5 IRREGULAR NOTE” after making due credit entries. Subsequently on 17th August 2007 an amount of Rs.1600/- was cheated from us on such frivolous ground. We requested Sri Amit Dalmia, the Branch Manager to look into the matter personally and rectify the discrepancy. Sri Amit Dalmia told us that the request made by us was under process. But nothing was done on his behalf and money deposited was almost on a regular basis debited by some amount after the deposited money was credited to the account. By the month of September 2007 an amount of Rs.20, 500/- (Rupees twenty thousand five hundred) only was already taken out from the account in similar fashion and finally we had to stop transaction with the bank. After each and every occasion of such debit, Sri Amit Dalmia was asked to rectify his mistake and rectify the account but Sri Amit Dalmia the Branch Manager having no regard for law kept on misappropriating our hard earned money on baseless, unreasonable grounds contrary to the law laid by the Reserve Bank of India. We used to deposit the money which used to be credited accordingly and thereafter our account used to be debited and we never got trace of what happened to that money. It clearly shows that the Branch Manager, Sri Amit Dalmia along with others have taken out the money of the customers, converted the same to his own use and then debited the account of the customers on baseless grounds. Even after a long endeavour and numerous requests, for about a year Sri Amit Dalmia did not respond to our requests and grievances. Finding no other alternative on 26.07.2008, lawyer’s notice was sent to the Branch Manger Sri Amit Dalmia, Sri Harish Joshi, the Cluster Branch Manager, Siliguri, and copies were sent to Sri Surajit Roy Choudhury the Regional Head of Branch Banking and Sri Sumit Mehrotra, the Zonal Head. But still there was no response in the mater. Finally on 17.08.2008 a reminder was sent to Sri Amit Dalmia, Branch Manager. At this Sri Amit Dalmia sent a reply dated 19.08.2008 providing an excuse that the cashier is not in a position to check the currency notes, thereby admitting his offence

            We had entrusted our money in the custody of the Bank and Sri Amit Dalmia, Sri Harish Joshi and others being the bankers have misappropriated our funds and broken our trust by cheating us of our hard earned money deposited with them. In a transaction period of about 1(one) year only, we have been cheated for an amount of Rs.20, 500/- (Rupees twenty thousand five hundred) only. In these circumstances it is apprehended that Sri Amit Dalmia, Sri Harish Joshi with the consent and connivance of other culprits are running a racket of misappropriating the customers’ funds on such baseless and preposterous grounds the amount of which may be insurmountable. Sri Amit Dalmia along with the other culprits has cheated us of our hard earned money. The culprits are dangerous in nature and have no regard for the law and are misappropriating the funds of the customers openly.

            I therefore request you to kindly look into the matter.

              I have a Home Loan from ICICI Bank which was drawn on April 2006. I am one of those lakhs of gullible customers who has fallen prey to ICICI Bank's low rate gimmick in 2005-06. Initially my Home Loan rate was 8.25% and now it is whopping 13.25% with no signs of coming down.

              Before getting the loan portfolio this bank was ahead of
              the market in offering low rates and now they are behind the market in cutting rates and ahead of the market in increasing the rates too.

              The reason for increase in home loan rates as claimed by
              ICICI bank is the higher COST OF FUNDS. The high cost of funds is ostensibly because of their losses in overseas ventures, high cost of operation, heavy exposure to retail loans and lately due the flight of low cost deposits. All this is only to be borne by Floating Rate Home Loan borrowers. EXISTING HOME LOAN BORROWERS HAVE TO PAY FOR ICICI BANK'S MISTAKES IN OVERSEAS AND OTHER BUSINESSES.
              What is our mistake ? Our mistake is that we went ahead with the leading private sector bank for home loans ?

              Now customers of floating rate home loans like me have to
              be the victims of the excessive, inordinate, baseless, exorbitant cost of funds of ICICI Bank. When RBI cut CRR in OCT 07 & NOV 07 all market players reduced rates for existing and new borrowers of home loans last year.
              However ICICI Bank did the reduction only for new customers. This year in Aug 08 / Sep 08 when RBI increased CRR by 100 BPS due to inflation touching 12% ICICI increased interest by 150 BPS in one month duration !. (As per the bank rules any rate of interest will be with effect from the beginning of the new quarter which means the gap between two increases has
              to be 3 months.
              However they have made 2 increases in month.) There are
              many such examples where ICICI bank does not care about customers interests.
              When RBI has reduced rates drastically in the last 3-4 months, ICICI is still sitting on
              high rates.
              Even now when Govt. is asking banks to reduce rates, ICICI
              Bank is adamant and is saying that they will have to watch !!! But they have reduced the
              rates for new home loans to 11.5%. FOR EXISITNG CUSTOMERS THEY ARE TEN STEPS AHEAD OF OTHERS IN INCREASING THE RATES BUT 100 STEPS BEHIND IN REDUCING THE RATES.

              Is this the No. 1 private sector bank??. If they are No. 1
              they should be most effective and competent and way above the rest of the
              market in offering lowest rates. Just like how Reliance is
              competitive in telecom market. With this bank having such unilateral and
              non-transparent cost of funds which they pass on to floating rate home loan
              customers, we can never hope to repay our principals. Since their cost of
              funds is always going up and not in line with the market home loan
              borrowers can never get back their property in their life time. Even to our
              children we will pass on the debt.

              There are lots of service and transparency woes. If we make
              pre-payments the principal will not be adjusted in the next EMI but in
              the EMI after that. That means our money is idle for one month. Their
              rate increases are never communicated. The rate of interest is varying
              from person to person. If we make more prepayments they will increase our
              rates so that we are always indebted to them. Tax declarations are not
              sent on time.
              There are no foreclosure charges (after 6 months to 1 year
              of loan) by many banks, but ICICI bank charges even if the loan has run
              for 10 years.
              How long can this continue.


              My request is that the Govt, RBI and the
              Finance Ministry should do something about ICICI Bank?s exploitation of
              customers. Off late ICICI Bank was worried about the recent rumours
              spread in the market and it has complained to various authorities about the
              same. Can ICICI Bank please answer all o[censored]s what it is doing for the lakhs
              and lakhs of customer complaints and grievance against it by various
              people suffering ?
              Whenever their customer help desk people are contacted
              they give standard, generic replies and are never specific.

              Recently when there was some issue with the bank we were
              not able to do net transfer since their system was down for several days,
              ATMs and branches had long queues. Service at the branches is
              chaotic. The branch people define rules of their own and change the same time
              to time as per their convenience. There is nothing like relationship and
              nothing like service. Branch staff are very cold and unfriendly in
              response and see customers as trouble makers. This is my experience as a
              retail and corporate customer and it is not any exaggeration. If
              somebody has time I can give pages and pages of illustrations with proof.

              My request is that:

              a) Govt and regulatory authorities must put to rest the
              exploitation by
              ICICI Bank to its borrowers.
              b) A strict audit of the operations and procedures of
              the bank must be
              done
              c) A consumer association or group must be invited to
              view the
              transparency in home loan rates being charged.
              d) A free passage be given to customers who want to exit
              the bank due
              to the atrocities faced by them. Govt. should ensure that
              PSU banks
              should be allowed to take over these loans without hassle
              so that
              borrowers can eventually own their dream houses.
              e) We should invite ICICI bank people in a public forum
              or on media and
              ask them to listen and respond to customer woes.

              ICICI Home Loan — exorbitant ROI and charges

              I took a loan from ICICI bank in May 2006 at the rate of 9.5% floating ROI. They kept on increasing the ROI and today as the floating ROI's have been down, I am still paying at 13.5%. This was increased when other banks were lowering down interest rates. I asked them for a foreclosure and now they have charged me 2.25% for the foreclosure + 12.36% service tax on foreclosure statements. I have had a wonderful track record with them. I asked for a xerox of my documents with them and they have sending them to me correctly. I have been having trouble with them and every time I complained to them they have just been hiking interest rates. I have already spoken to a lot of people in this regard. I have lost faith in ICICI bank. Please hhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeelllppp me out

              I am also facing the same treatment from ICICI Bank. I went to the bank and asked fro clarification staff compleelt agress with my arugment but said cannot help as bank has the rules and they have to follow the same. ICICIbank never bring the responsible person to answer this questions. I think governement should take the strict action against bank and give the relief to the customer (But I am sure about it our governemnt is not going to do anything)
              I too was a customer of icici bank. regularly repaid the loan for 4 yrs. but when i woke up and tried to get rid of this bank i found that in 4 yrs i was at the same place where i started from. anyway i soon shifted the bank and now i'm a satisfied customer of SBI. I REQUEST all the customer of this blood sucker icici bank that please withdraw from it and go to some other purely indian bank. though they seem to be somewhat rough-talking but u soon will feel that they are really our people.the sooner the better.

They are unethical and monopolistic . cause a few suicides thru their mental torture techniques and extortions. The bank is irresponsible, unapproachable and feudal . They even forced a policy on me without my will.

                As it is interbank dispute between canara bank ulhasnagar-421005 & icici bank in collecting of our emi ecs of rs. 1940/- dated 5.11.2007 and we have taken intitative to solve this problem by visiting your kalyan (w) branch spoken with concern person ms. priyanka madam 3 times shown my passbook and payment that it have been debited to the icici a/c but then also your advocate M/s. Ashish Agarwal & Associates, 13-A, Ravi Industrial Estate, Off.Mahakali Caves, Nr.Paper Box Factory, Andheri(E), Mumbai- 400093. he has sent us notice and for this we have replied him on 25.8.2008 together with CANARA BANK, Customer Service Centre, 10TH, floor maker tower‘E’ Cuffe parade, Mumbai – 400005. And sorry and regretted to state that till date no reply is received from both of them and also nothing is heard from icici bank, kalyan branch reply though we have given all the details of passbook of canara bank, ulhasnagar 421005 to ms. priyanka. now it is intimated once again that as our all instalments except one of 5.11.07 is pending due to your side fault and want to close the matter by paying intial amount which is due to us of rs.1940/.

                  I booked a flat from one of the promoters in Bangalore. The promoter encouraged me to take a housing loan from ICICI Home Finance on the pretext that they have a tie up and loan processing is very smooth. On the pretext of facilitating documentation, the promoter also obtained all loan documents from me. I was told by the promoter that the loan amount will be disbursed only after verification from Bank and only to the extent of work completion at site. To my horror I realized that ICICI Home Finance has disbursed 85% of the loan amount, even though the project has not been completed even to the extent of 60%. I have complained to ICICI Home Finance and followed it up with 10 reminders so far, but they not even acknowledge the same. I have decided to welcome Chanda Kochar as CEO with my complaint.

                  Actually the ICICI Home Finance does not ralise that a scam is in the happening. Promoter and the Branch officials are conniving to siphon off money from the Bank for projects that show little or no progress for months on end. For the same project State Bank of India is refusing to fund beyond 60% of the loan amount. ICICI Home Finance is refusing to show me the engineer/ valuer certificate about the status of the project at the time of disbursal; tough take cover under the guise that I have signed disbursal papers. What are they are not conceding I did not ask them disburse for unfinished work.

                    i filex vijayakumar worked as an internal auditor at Karvy Computershare pvt ltd., problem is my company recently removed 40% of employees from our organisation two months before reason market is too bad, i am one of the person in that removed employees. now, iam searching job and i did't get any job till now, so, please give me advice "is there any change to pay my repayment to creditcards after getting my job. my track everything is good till month. i can not pay next month onwards.

                      As per the confirmation by your customer care, I have come to know the status that my card has been permanently blocked due to late payment, but i wish to bring to your kind notice that i have always been paying all my outstandings, and always paid all the necessary late fees, interest and other charges whatsoever has been charged on my card and always made the payments for each and every bill, but still having always been making the payments my card has just been blocked without any reason, My last payment got delayed only just because i was out of town and was not in a situation to pay the payment on time as i reached back my hometown a little late, and just for this reason my card has been blocked..

                      I was not given any reminder call for the payment neither any sms alerts nor any personal call by the executive and without any prior notice the bank has blocked the card.. Now that i have been following up the matter repeatedly, i notice that the bank is not co-operating the needful with me.

                      Hence i hereby wish to inform you to treat this mail seriously and revert back the needful or else failing to his i shall be forced to take the necessary action in Legal and also the complaint shall be forwarded to the concerned higher authorities and also to the Banking Ombudsment..

                        Sir,
                        Ref: ICICI bank Credit card no:[protected].

                        i paid my oct`08 bill by cheque on 20.10.08 amount Rs.3000.00. and get conformation on 24.10.08 from ICICI via SMS.
                        when i was get the next month bill, there they put two entries. 24.10.08 - Amount was credited
                        28.10.08 - Cheque return
                        i want know, why that cheque is return?
                        if thr cheque is return, where is the cheque?
                        and what is the reasion?
                        For that they charge me arrount Rs.150.00.
                        regarding this i already lauched a complaint here one month back, and i get replay from icici " give me 7 workin days time - we will get back to you"

                        but now almost one month was over, no responce from icici.
                        i called customer care, they were tell " i write the card no is wrong" how it is possible?

                        if the no is wrong how you make entry on 24.10.08 in my card.
                        I am very un happy on this isue.
                        last one month i was flowup this isue. when you are going to solve? if we are making one day delay you are charging lot of fine, but you are making one month delay, howmuch you are going to pay me?

                        1)I used ICICI Bank CC to HP petrol Pumps, (as per ICICI terms useing in HP pumps, No Service Charge.) but last two months they didn't revice any charges.
                        2)For the Oct`08 Bill i Paid Rs.3000 by cheque, and i got SMS confirmation also. but after one month period i came to know that cheque was bounce. if the cheque bounce, where is the cheque? they didn't inform till.
                        For that they charge me interest also.
                        Today, I contact customer care they are not respond properly...

                        please take this matter very urgent,

                        I am not receiving my monthly statements regularly. For your kind information I have'nt received the statement for the past 4 months. I have been paying my monthly amount, but I don't even get a message on my mobile or computer for having received the payment. My mobile number is[protected].                           Humm.. waht to tell about this bank. you can please go through the following mail can just figure out. But for a brief:
                          I took a loan against CC which was shown as pre approved. I got the amount two time during 6 days of time. I inform abt the second one to customer care abt no response, fortunately i started communiocating with them in written seeing this bank reputation, and rest you can know in the following mail. Besides this communication, i have spoken to customer care over trhe phone for which i have not provided the any no. Last time i cummunicatted on 22 Dec 2008 on[protected] then 173. this was told by Sec 50 branch saying there your dispute will be sorted out.

                          I visted this branch on 20 Dec 2008 with CR No CB135. But he seemd helples and send me to collection department who gave me this no.

                          I think you have just looked into the matter or taking some action also. Is there any solution to this kind of technical fault. I am sure that you are not facing such complaint for first time. I am not able to understand that i apply for a loan online. Second I got the amount twice. I notify the matter to you. But you people reply, in our accouht this, only one time transfer showing. I still keep you updating about this. But there no action planed or taken. And finally wht i see that Mony is registered to my existing loan ammount and EMI's are started. Now you people ask me to cancle this loan. When i have not applied for this one, why should i raise a request for canclling this. Even then i ask to raise this, i got a call but nothing is happening. Now i am outside of india, Once back, i would like to personally solve this matter. Now i know you cannot do anything than provading me a date again and again.                           But, to my surprise, I can see the amount now is reflecting in my CC loan account with more processing fee and service tax for the wrongly credited amount.

                          Even though this is a clear sign of being careless, I again took the step and informed the matter over the phone to customer care executive on Tuesday, October 07, 2008, and received an assurance of taking action with in 24 hours and also given a request no: SR81918477. But it was 16 October 2008 yesterday but no action again. I called up Executive and explained the issue and received a reply "This must have been done, now I take complaint for this" and when I asked for the Complaint No. he said "you will get it on your mobile phone" but what I got is nothing as usually.

                          Now I do not know that what to talk with you or how else to inform, as the matter is almost 2 months old but no action as of now. I do not want to file a case but you have left me with no other options.

                          But to my surprise again i recevied the same amount on 11 aug 2008 in my same savings account. i have spoken to customer care on phone many time but they do nothing but transfer my call from savings account to credit card to cash in select to loan on phone. This race is on for last 3-4 days.
                          I am fed up and feel help less. no one is trying to understand the exact scenario. I applied once i given two different loan of same amount for same tenour.
                          Above all i am informing and trying to bring the issue into the matter but i am being redirected from one place to another. i m totally dejected never experenced such a bad exprience with ICICI bank.
                          I do not want to continune with either of them now. I am in no need to go for bouth and pay an heavy instal ment and extra interest.

                          So i request you to coordinate with all the concerened department and look into the matter also feel free to contact me at any point of time during the investigation.

                          Sub: Credit Card No: [protected] – visa card issued in February .2005 valid till February 2013

                          Sir,
                          This is with reference to my above credit card, I would like to know the details of payment made by me during these years. We are under the impression, that your prestigious bank can help us in clearing our financial problem and will not commit mistakes in charging.

                          I would like to inform you that I have been using your services since some years (since 2005) I received a statement and found a charge of Rs 112.02 to my account. This is the fault of your department where I was penalised iIn 2007 May .I have received an insurance policy, which I have refused and Rs 6, 000 returned the policy to your Mumbai Bank. But the insurance amount has been charged to my account and EMI Principal with interest has been charged since then. Though the certificates and other details have been sent to you to your office, I could not get the proper information from your side. I have been regularly paying for these as per your statements up to May 2008. Your can verify from the statement in September 2007 stating EMI interest + insurance principal . When enquired about this, the response was in such a way that this is a computerised message and contact the Mumbai office. It seems that though I am not interested in insurance, I have been penalised for the Insurance Principal with interest. Could you please clarify the same.

                          I have been contacting your customer care for the over limit charges, In May 2008, I received a message to my mobile No: [protected] stating that I am waived from over limit charge of Rs.. 500/- But till today have been charged the over limit charges of Rs. 500/- If the cheque is paid late, a late fee of Rs. 400 or even 600 is charged. It happened to me also. The customer care is most important, the follow up of your action is very poor from your side. Could you kindly clarify the two charges about the over limit and insurance charges charged to me can be refunded to me and the actual amount over due to your bank. I would like to surrender the credit card. Pl. understand the customers problem, because of acute need we use your services, but if the payment is default for one month, you charge more than the amount as penalty, but for the services, it is on the reverse side. I have paid a sum of Rs. 2000/- for this month also. Unless this is clarified, I am forced to pay penalty for the amount. Please clarify the same immediately. Please take immediate action to clarify the same.

                                In the case of State Bank of India Vs Usha Vaid & Anr the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission termed prepayment penalty for home loan as unfair and restrictive trade practices. The Commission asked the bank to refund the pre-payment charges collected from Vaid, who had shifted her loan to another bank. It upheld that Consumers’ right to avail loans at lesser rate of interest can’t be curtailed by such prepayment clauses. SBI SLP (Civil) 16345 of 2007 against the Commission order in the Supreme Court has been dismissed vide SC order dated 19.09.2008.

                                Start sending your emails on the following 2 ids:

                                Ask them for answers. They will not answer your answer your questions. Rather they will use copy-paste of the standard matter. But do not worry. Send them 20-30 emails. Document all of these responses and then file a suite against ICICI in the consumer court and not with RBI. You will not lose the case. These responses will help you win the case against ICICI for the waiver of foreclosure charges. Then transfer your loan at alomost 3% lower rates to some PSU bank, without any foreclosure charges. By transferring, you will save almost 1 lac rupees every year for a loan of 26 lacs (20 years).

                                A few things which you can write when they write back to you ...

                                What is this prevailing economic scenario in the country? Is it different for other Indian Banks (most of those)? If no, then why did you increase the rate in June'08 July'08 timeframe. Even there was no CRR hike (which used to be your favourite excuse earlier). Rather the CRR has been cut by 350 bps. On one hand CRR is cut by such a huge margin and on the contrary ICICI has increased the rate during this period.

                                The ICICI is never going to reduce the loan rates for existing customers. They are the biggest cheat in the country. KV Kamath, the ICICI head and CII president is the number one crook...he speaks in the public that banker should reduce the interest rates, but his bank never reduce rates. There cheap strategy is to give loan at low rates to new cutomers and increase thereafter immediately after some months. They are openly cheating the customers of India. This is really pathetic that both RBI and Govt does not take action against there crook activities. The best think is all the customer of ICICI should protest aginst the bank in the front of RBI building, this will force the RBI to hear the ICICI customer problem and media will also get active. All the ICICI Home Loan Customers should transfer there loans to public sector banks. I know the ICICI create problems if someone tries to transfer there loans to other banks.

                                Everytime ICICI management says, we are watching the liquidity situation and will review the rates later on and then they never reduce the rates. This is just to divert the attention of the customers and the media. Irony, is that the KV Kamath says different thing and Chanda Kochar says opposite of that. This is because KV Kamath is the head of CII, he always says good thing but never delivers that. Funny part is he is saying banks should reduce rates, but his ICICI is not reducing the rates. I dont understand, why the cost of funds are not coming down for these private banks despite huge Repo Rate and CRR cuts by the RBI. They are just fooling everyone and earning huge interest income by not reducing the interest rates.
                                I completely agree with all. ICICI is a bloody fraud out to cheat customers--especially those on existing floating loan rates. This is bigger than a corporate governance case---total disregard for the customer and public at large. I too am starting my loan transfer procedure from next week.

                                i am paying loan at the rate of 13%..in 3yrs they increased the rate from 7.5 to 13%..and they never seems to reduce the interest rates, though my loan amount is very less, but still it stretched to 391months, thats bloody freak, i am thinking of foreclosing it but i am not aware of the foreclosing charges.
                                I took a loan from ICICI bank in May 2006 at the rate of 9.5% floating ROI. They kept on increasing the ROI and today as the floating ROI's have been down, I am still paying at 13.5%. This was increased when other banks were lowering down interest rates. I asked them for a foreclosure and now they have charged me 2.25% for the foreclosure + 12.36% service tax on foreclosure statements. I have had a wonderful track record with them. I asked for a xerox of my documents with them and they have sending them to me correctly. I have been having trouble with them and every time I complained to them they have just been hiking interest rates. I have already spoken to a lot of people in this regard. I have lost faith in ICICI bank. Please hhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeelllppp me out

                                Even i am a sufferer of ICICI Home loan. They offered my loan @ 9.5% floating (2 years back), and slowly hiked it to 13.5%.. And they don't seem to be reducing the rates at all. I enquired at all banks including ICICI, (for new customers), the rate is around 9%. This is open cheating. My EMI has been hiked and my loan tenure has been almost doubled! This is total customer disregard from ICICI bank. Even I am planning to move out my loan to some other bank. Lets start a movement, Lets all get together and move all the ICICI home loans out from the ICICI to some other bank. These guys must learn a lesson for treating customers badly. Also please advice to all your friends to not take loans from ICICI. Forward this link to as many people, so that people don't get cheated by these guys.

                                I agree with all of you, problems with ICICI bank Home loan. I have same experiance, took tahe loan 2 years back for 9%, after that they are increasing the interest rates frequantly and it is reached to highest level. When ever RBI reduced the rates, all other banks reduced same way, but these bloody idiotes not decreased like RBI. They are following their own rules. If they wants to reduce the rates, we need to give some amount(Bribe), then they will reduce it. I am transfering the loan to other banks. Even if i pay the 2% also, i can get the very cheaper loans with other banks. Why media and RBI is not focusing on these pointes.

                                A lot many thanks to all those who have posted messages on this board. Particularly to those who have given this suggestion to write emails to Kamath and Senior Management. I had a housing loan from ICICI. I foreclosed the loan, but I was slapped a foreclosure charge of 31000/-. When I wrote emails to the above mentioned mail ids, my money was refunded.
                                This is the substandard way of doing business.I dont think ICICI can stand with customer for long time.
                                I'm an existing customer of ICICI bank home loan for the last 2 years and am waiting for reduction in rates by ICICI. Over the last 6 months, when other private banks like HDFC reduced the rates twice to 1% to 1.5% less, the great bank of India reduced the loan only once by .5%. Due to previous increases, the loan tenures go upto 40 years (this happened in my case) and reduction has reduced the tenure to 25 years now. Whenever the lending rates increase, the bank sends out communication immediately and will increase the payment from next month. However, this is not the same case while reducing the rates.

                                Apart from this, the bank does not even send yearly tax statements to customers who have been paying their EMIs on time

                                Can somebody from the bank management do something about this? This is high time that the bank responds to millions of people who are being fleeced by the bank.

                                I took the home loan for Rs.16lacs for 240 months from ICICI Bank @ 9.75% in 2003. My EMI was 15177/-, they increased my emi to Rs.19485/- and also increased my tenure to 322 months (after paid for about 72 months, currently we are paying 15.25% interest on said loan. Also they are adjusting a very little amount towards my principal compaire to previous months. My husband and my self approached to bank somany times and also wrote a letter to Ms Chanda Kochhar regarding the same but no response from bank side. The bank looks like a money lander where the loan amount never reduce till the death of person. Please help us. The government also with them they never take the hard action against such type of bank.

                                I am in a similar situation. The loan tenure of my loan of 10 years is complete, but as per floating interest rates the bank claims they expect us to keep paying the loan for ever. Did you receive any updates for your complaint?

                                LIC is marketing its interest rate is 8.75 %, but its not true.
                                this rate is concessional & only for 3 months & their after the rate is about 10.25-10.5.

                                ICICI Bank is notorious in cheating the customers. They trap the customers for home loan with lesser interest and once they are trapped, the rates of the interest are charged abnormally even without informing the customers.The RBI guidelines say that the banks cannot tie up with the individual bank's plr to the home loan rates of interest, but the icici is habituated in doing so and RBI /Banking ombudsman are soft towards icici and thereby the people of this country are allowed to get exploited and cheated by icici. nagarajarao

                                In last one year almost every month they are increasing the interest rate. I was offered loan for 7.25% in 2005 and now the interest rate 14% in ICICI bank.
                                Wheresas the interest in nationalized bank is 9.5-10.5 and they don't change.

                                All those wiht problems, please voice it to [protected]@utv or watch Vivek Law's program called Fightback on Bloomberg TV channel- He is excellent, helps us get immediate responses and issues atleast get addressed by respective banks. I had issues with some and they were closed within 24 hrs. Public- Please voice your concerns..we citizens should nto tolerate injustice.
                                I had taken an ICICI Floating home loan for Rs 13.74 lacs, with a printed EMI document for a tenure of 120 months (10 years). This was in the year Nov 2004. When I went (Aug 2014)to check with the bank when the payment will end, to my utter shock, they told me that I will have to keep paying for another 10 years. I am now 60, aand I will have to keep paying till I am 70. Where will I find the money now that I am retired?
                                I have compared the GOI Repo rate (rate at which banks can borrow from RBI, and find
                                1) When RBI increases the Repo Rate, ICICI bank raises by double the rate
                                2) When RBI reduces the Repo Rate, ICICI drops this only by a quarter to half the rate.
                                I ask, why is the RBI providing money to these banks, so that they can plunder us. Our own Government is abetting this bank to make fat profits, and that too, at the common man"s expense.

                                I can say by my personal experience that ICICI bank is cheating it's customers. I advise all to not take loan from private banks. I took a home loan from ICICI in year 2005 at 7.25% ROI which was floating. The tenure of this loan was around 10 years. They kept increasing ROI and till last year it was above 14% and at the same time they were giving new loans at 9%. I contacted them to reduce the rates then I was told to give some affidavits for this. They had no answer that when they increase ROI without such documents then why they require for reducing. Finally I gave them affidavits and they reduced it hardly 1% and after some time again they increased it. I have paid almost double of loan amount to ICICI bank but after 10 years the principle outstanding loan amount is almost same as it was in starting. Please note this loan should have been closed in 10 years. I think by this way this loan will be continued till my future generations.
                                Finally I decided to foreclose this loan and now ICICI bank is calling me and giving references of my long relationship with them and requesting me to keep continue this loan and offering me to reduce the ROI upto 9.5%. I know they will reduce it now but will again increase. I have decided to forclose this loan and have asked bank to give me foreclosure statement and again they are cheating by adding fake charges which I have got removed by protesting. I am closing not only this loan but my 18 year old salary account and my wife's account and all relationship with this cheater bank.
                                I am also victim of ICICI bank home loan.
                                In 2006 I borrowed ICICI bank home loan @ 9.75 interest rate. My loan amount was less i.e. 7.73 Lakh.
                                Now in September 2015, I can see only Rs 40000 reduced from my principle amount and still 7.32 Lakh principle amount is remain and rate of interest is shocking increased i.e. @ 14.45% . Dont know how they are calculating Principle and interest component with tenure of 20-25 years and they keep tenure increasing time to time. Why there is no control of RBI.

                                I am going to transfer my loan to SBI now.
                                ICIC is the biggest fraudster in home loan business. I had taken 3.75lakh 10 years back and my loan period has ended. But they are asking me to pay the emis for another 7 years. Terrible. I have talked to the bank and they are like 'Gunda' . I dont have any choice left other than going to court.                                 Hi i've applied for housing loan for 26L (Construction G+1 model) in chennai, after having so much trust and reputation with your bank .

                                But right from the beginning i'm facing lot of trouble and unpleasant experience to disburse the loan amount despite having all the proper document from my side I've approached your bank on may 2018 for taking housing loan but got disbursed on september after a lot of trouble and having no proper communication from your employees .

                                Looks like all amateur people working out there. No prior intimation given about the stage of payment mode. Now im awaiting for the 3rd payment after constructing first floor roof. Again this time they started creating the problem and denying to release the amount .

                                They can release only 30k from 11L remainning amount as per the procedure. Hoping you will take some action. Literraly im pissed off with this bank i wll not refer to anyone

                                  I have been using the ICICI Bank EDC machine from past several years. My MID is[protected].
                                  The bank has debited Rs.5400/- on 15/02/2008 from my current account no.[protected] describing some other MID no as mine and thus charges for that MID machine.
                                  But the matter of fact is i own only one machine with me from past several years.
                                  Repeatedly communicating regarding this with the regional manager Mr. Harish Singh and also given a written complaint to him he is least bothered to look in to the matter.
                                  I had called him several times but no action is taken from his side.
                                  and after giving a call in the helpline of bank those people are alo not answering the query.
                                  The responsible authorities are just harrassing customers by not answering them for so long.

                                    i had applied for credit card in ICICI bank and they gave me Big Bazaar card saying that what ever i purhcase in big bazaar i will get 6 reward points for every repuees hundred puchased. so for every thing i purchase from BIg Bazaar i use to swipe ICICI card to get more reward points. But in september on purchase worth Rs. 2000 ICICI my reward points where short by 100 points when mailed the complaint the reply i got is Big bazaar people has swiped my card at wrong machine and so i will not get the reward points. my question is ICICI has not cleared me this condition earlier and it is not my concern that on which machine they swipe my card. my concern is to purhcase from big bazaar and my transcation details also show that i had used my card in Big bazaar then ICICI bank should giive me my reward point which they have not done. now this is a cheating done by ICICI bank and i think this people are playing with the money of ours.
                                    Now i have decided not use ICICI bank card in future and suggest other the same because this people does not entertain your query if they are in default.
                                    I have been using ICICI credit card for last 9 years and have earned 1655 ponts till Dec2009. However to my surprize, in my Feb 09 statement, the points were nulifed and new mints points on the current transaction were added. The ICICI bank credit card has shifted to new reward points of imint without consulting the customers.But what about my reward points I have eraned till date. I request all the card holders to check whether same trick is played with them and they have lost their earlier points earned. How ever the web site of ICICI say

                                    Beware of these cards and check ur every transactions and the small notes inserted somewhere else in ur credit card statement that changes their policy any time.
                                    I have lodged the complaint with ICICI bank credit card.
                                    We are having a credit card no. [protected], big bazar silver card & have been using for about past two years, but till now we have not got any details/vouchers for reward points.

                                    Please revert how we shall get benefit of reward points.

                                      I have taken a home loan from ICICI Bank on Feb2004 @7% ROI (Floating Interest). After that they are continously increased the rate of interest to 14% now according to the RBI Interest rate revision.
                                      Now the RBI reduced the Interest rate too the large extent but the bank not reduce the interest rate. Moreover now bank offering new homeloan with 11.5% ROI.
                                      I contacted ICICI Bank official there is no proper respone.
                                      We need AMORT statement or Repayment schedule and Statement of Account for Home loan Account
