I am from Bangalore, I am also facing the same problem while new connection. Since I am having the Gas stove I need only the cylinder and other accessories connection. Now they are asking me to produce the bill for purchased the gas stove.
is it mandatory to produce the bill ? Bcoz i do not have the bill since it was gifted to me. But it is branded stove with ISI mark.
Could u pl guide me how to go about it.

this is to inform you, that i vikram singh, resident of sector 23 gurgaon, have visited one of the LPG Dealer "golden gas agency" palam vypar kendra, palam vihar, gurgaon.
I visited for a new connection with all the formalities, address proof and id proof, and asked about the connection but came to know very starange thing that i have to take buy "GAS STOVE " as well with gas cylender..
when i asked said that i dont want to buy GAS STOVE from them, they refused to give me connection.
plz let me know is it mandatory to buy gas stove with a new connection, which will cost me more then Rs 4000..
Guide me where i can proceed against this discrimenation...and blackmailing.
