Indian Oil Corporation / Gas Connection — New Connection

Dear Sir, I visited my nearest gas agency for getting a new gas connection. The distributer is asking for ration card as a ID/ address proof but I can furnish only employer's certifiacte & rent receipt in place of ration card & it should be accepted by distributer as per procedures defined by Indian Oil Corporation on the web site. I had applied for new indane gas connection and at the time of applying it, I was provided the reference no N1311...022, but when I visited the nearby agency I was asked to give SL69...no.(Booking no.) and that I don't have. I am not understaing how can I have the same using online official website of INDANE. I am so frestrated and unpleased in this regards.
Can anyone of you suggest me
