On feb 12, 2009 my father sent a very important original document via registered mail to USA zip code 20705 from Elanad, Kerala post office.I havent received it yet. USps customer service tracking doesnt have this no in their system at all.I was asked to contact India postal service. This is an Original irreplaceable irreproducible document...please help...very urgent...

Hi,

The passport site for Pune is displaying the following status regarding the delivery of my passport:

"Passport has been despatched by post on[protected] vide postal Registration Number 33083"

However, I still haven't recvd it. I have following questions regarding the registered postal service:
1. what is the standard delivery time for a registered post within the same city?
2. if there is nobody available at the address during the delivery time, how is the addressee informed?
3. will a second delivery attempt be made or can the passport be collected from the post office?
4. how can the registered post be tracked?

I really need help in this matter as I'll be travelling over the next 4 days and there will be nobody at my address to collect the passport.

I sent a registered parcel to chennai from nirala nagar post office, lucknow, on 9th april. the parcel no. is RPA2270. is there a way i can track its current status?

I am yet to receive a registered post from Sydney (RR[protected]AU).
Date sent-- 2nd April 2009 and delivery was due: 8-10 working days

I am unable to even find the tracking website for the same. Also have checked with the nearest post office with no success.

Sir i would like to tell you that i send my 8 Registered parcels from Jalandhar Postal service to different locations in US. But it is very shocking to tell you that 20 days have passed and still the parcels have not yet been recieved by the Universities. This has been a very embarassing situation for me.

i am agree with this above point .India Government should have Develop A system in which we can trace/or Know exact status on Postal registration numbers

My passport has been dispached from Patna passport office on 4th june 2009 but due Service not available on Internet we cannot trace the Postal registration number

I sent registered post from Ireland on 2nd June. Post office tracing from Ireland show that post was dispatched to Mumbai on 4th June. Its been over 3 weeks and the post is still not delivered to my parent home. No one answers the customer support calls. No one bother to reply my email sent to [protected]@indiapost.gov.in Please help me find the status of the port. Reference number RL[protected]IE.
